E dei migliori hotel in cui siamo mai stati (a livello di cibo sicuramente il migliore di tutti). Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Un hotel a conduzione familiare, i proprietari molto alla mano, simpatici e super disponibili, parlano perfettamente inglese. Un hotel formato da appartamenti molto ampi completi di cucina (completa di tutto, piano cottura a induzione, grande frigorifero, macchinetta caffè americano, tosta pane, bollitore e tutti gli accessori per cucinare e mangiare) con sala da pranzo e salotto, camera (con letto king, materasso molto comodo, aria condizionata, armadio e cassaforte), bagno con doccia (forniscono anche il phone) e balcone con stendino. Ogni finestra degli appartamenti è dotata di zanzariera. Vengono forniti shampoo, sapone e saponetta; teli mare; asciugamani e tappeto bagno vengono cambiati ogni giorno. Le camere vengono pulite e sistemate ogni giorno, le lenzuola (tranne in casi di necessità) vengono sostituite ogni 3 giorni. Ampia piscina pulitissima con lettini molto comodi. Ma ora parliamo del cibo che è la cosa che più ci è rimasta nel cuore. Noi abbiamo scelto la formula mezza pensione (non a buffet). Colazione: super abbondante e molto gustosa. Ogni mattina viene portato al tavolo un cestino di due varietà di pane (con marmellate, nutella, miele e burro), una portata principale (che varia ogni giorno, pancake, crepe, french toast e molto altro), altri dolcetti che anch’essi variano ogni giorno, possibilità di scelta tra caffè, tea ecc.. e su richiesta possibilità di uova e buonissimo yogurt greco. Cena: super abbondante e buonissima. La cena anche questa non a buffet è composta da un’insalata (greca, al tonno, cesar salad, ecc.. ecc..), un antipasto, fette di pane tostate con olio e una salsa (anche queste tra cose variano ogni giorno), un piatto principale che viene scelto alla carta dall’ospite (ogni giorno oltre al menù principale ci sono anche 3/4 proposte del giorno) e un dolce (anche questo varia ogni giorno). Qualità del cibo ottima, tutto freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione. Porzioni super abbondanti sia a colazione che a cena. Nell’eventualità che un piatto non venga finito (a noi non è mai successo perché era tutto troppo troppo buono) c’è la possibilità di portarlo in camera e mangiarlo in un secondo momento per non sprecare cibo. Acqua compresa nel prezzo, altre bibite, vino, birra da pagare extra. Possibilità di ordinare altro cibo dal menù pagandolo extra (prezzi comunque super economici). A noi non serviva ma ad altri ospiti con bambini è stato fornito il seggiolone per i pasti. In casi di necessità è possibile cenare in camera. Parcheggio gratuito a 50 metri dall’hotel. Posizione: a due passi da una spiaggia attrezzata, molti ristoranti in zona, supermercato proprio dietro (basta attraversare la strada), posizione strategica a circa 10 minuti dall’aeroporto, a circa 15 minuti dal centro di Rodi e a circa 20/30 minuti dalle spiagge più belle. Fantastic family run apartments,very friendly owners who go out of there way to help with whatever you need,apartments are spacious ,beds very comfortable with a nice balcony. 15 minute walk into town where there are loads of restaurants and bars to spend your evenings. Working in hospitality we always book hotels and this was our first apartment, well it did not disappoint. We arrived to a warm welcome, the apartment was spotless and very spacious, the food was amazing, staff great and nothing was a problem. Quiet area with a 10 minutes walk to the beach however the pool is also lovely, no fighting for sunbeds or having to pay - bliss. We ate there several times enjoying their Greek specialities with complimentary dip at the start and lovey wee slice of cake at the end - lovely touch! Was great to sit with the family and hear their stories. You can see why they get so many return customers...they care about your experience and it shows! 10/10 loved it!

I spent a lot of time researching the perfect place for us to stay when visiting Rhodes and Platoni Elite seemed to tick every box before we booked and has absolutely ticked every box during our stay here. If you want a relaxing, authentic holiday that’s conveniently located with excellent hosts and food… then trust me and book this place. Location - Platoni Elite is 15 minutes on a bus from the airport and 15 minutes from the iconic Old Town. This was great for us because we didn’t want to have to travel too far once we’d been on a flight for four hours and we didn’t want to travel far for a day of exploring. The hotel/apartments itself are set back slightly from the main road which bodes well for peaceful sleeping! Directly opposite the hotel is a big supermarket so you can easily stock up on essentials and you can pack light and buy some stuff there. The bus network is reliable, cheap and quick so I’d recommend using buses rather than wasting money on taxis. You can pay €3 a journey in cash to the driver. Hotel itself - comprised of both rooms and apartments. Our apartment is beautifully presented and really clean (cleaner visits everyday and provides fresh towels). There is lots of space and a large balcony, powerful shower with essential toiletries and a very comfortable bed. Air con is great too! The grounds have a large pool (always clean) and a small kids pool. Sun beds are plentiful and you’ll be given a pool towel when you arrive so no need to pack one! There is a small garden area too. The grounds are kept clean, tidy and there’s enough space for everyone staying without it being too “resorty” or generic. Restaurant - I can’t express greatly enough how amazing the food and service is here. For a start, portion sizes are so generous that it’s near impossible to eat an appropriate amount, unless you have a lot of willpower which I don’t! As we’ve learnt from one of our lovely hosts, Greek culture shows love and appreciation by serving big portions and lots of yummy food and by that standard, we felt a lot of love while we’ve been here. We opted for the bed and breakfast option for our booking and the breakfast was the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. We were treated everyday to fresh breads, jams, honey, chocolate spread, a fresh variety of cut fruit with either fluffy pancakes or French toast or loukoumades (Greek donuts) AND then any form of fresh eggs AND fresh pastries. The omelettes are delicious! We left the breakfast table everyday ready to burst and extremely satisfied. For lunch (which we only managed to have two days out of seven because of the breakfast keeping us full) - I highly recommend the gyros. Best quality gyros we’ve seen and eaten on the island - even the chips are fresh and homemade! The lunch salads are also massive and filling. Dinner - is served between 1700-2230 each day. Amazing place to stay, welcomed like family from the moment we arrived, could not do enough for us throughout our entire stay. We went half board and the food was amazing, easily the best food we had on hoilday. Drinks where much cheaper then any other place we went. Great location 10 mins into old town on the bus, supermarket arcoss the road (best around) and beach 5 mins away. We could not recommend Platoni Elite more if we tried. I’m writing this review sat in the airport waiting for our flight home. We are all really sad to be leaving. Honestly I can’t tell you how much we have loved our time at Platoni Elite. As a family we work for ourselves and we have 3 children, 2 of which are autistic. So life for us at home is very stressful. This last week has probably been the most relaxed we have been all year! It’s such a lovely, calm, relaxing place! Even our children were relaxed and at ease. Which is rare! It was lovely to see them playing together instead of the meltdowns we’re used too. Holidays usually mean more meltdowns but that didn’t happen here. Which just shows how special this place is! We booked one of the Villas and we felt very much at home. It was really clean, really spacious, and it had everything we needed including a PlayStation and Netflix for the kids. During the week we had to work whilst we were there and the Wi-Fi was great too. It worked in the villa, by the pool and in the restaurant. Across the road theres a big supermarket which was ideal for stocking up on essentials. Although we ate in the restaurant every day! We tried breakfast, dinner and evening meals and all the food was excellent! Our family is vegetarian and we always found something to eat. Yanis was great and offered us vegi / vegan options that wasn’t on the menu. We always had a good meal! We always found a sun bed and if we wanted to go out, it was a 10 minute walk into town. I honestly can’t praise this little gem enough. The family who run platoni are some of the nicest people we have met! We are already planning to return next year!

We stayed here (family of 5) and had an amazing time. This small, family run hotel is in a perfect location, close to the beach, airport, local restaurants and about 10 minutes on a bus of or taxi to Rhodes town centre. From the minute we arrived the owners went out of their way to ensure we d everything we needed. The level of service and in particular the fresh local food on offer was exceptional. We had one of the 3 bedroom villas and the whole place was spotless and maintained to a very high level. The poolside is very relaxing and as some other reviewers have said, there were always lots of free sun beds throughout the day. If you’re looking for a gem of a location with hosts who treat you like part of their extended family- this place is for you.

THE BEST food ever and super service! Big recommendations for this dining place! We ate tuna salad, grilled king prawns and tzaziki and never better than this. Next time also staying in these apartmens ❤ Modern, clean and friendly family service on the top! We were lucky to find this restaurant in our last evening here- sirely must arrive!

Exceptional stay. This is a beautiful family run hotel. The owners couldn’t have been more friendly, approachable, accommodating and genuinely lovely. The food was particularly tasty, fresh and home cooked. The pool was clean and always had sun beds available. The room was tidied every day to a very high standard, fresh towels and bedding every day. A 10 minute walk from a ***** of lovely restaurants and the beach and only a 15 minute taxi away from the airport. Would highly recommend.
