Very close to fabulous beach, 50m walk, many restaurants around to suit all budgets,a short walk 750m in to the old city alley ways. Staff super friendly and helpful with lots of advice. Late checkout available for a price if not fully booked. Big choice of breakfast.. Views nice from balcony, rooms with the balcony.

Albergo vicino alla spiaggia e in 15 minuti si raggiunge il centro città. L'hotel si trova vicino alla fermata autobus che porta all'aeroporto. Prima colazione abbondante e variegata; camere pulite giornalmente, cambio asciugamani ogni due giorni e ottimo shampoo. Prezzo più che conveniente. Personale gentile e premuroso

Basic hotel, near the central Rhodes city. Located among many restaurants and nearest grocery store is across the street and the beach one minute walk away. Room was neat and something you would expect at this price point. Air conditioning kept the room nice and cool and there's a safe for valuables. Staff was friendly and the breakfast better what the rating would make you expect. The lobby has a bar where you can order drinks. Things to consider are that it is located by a narrow street so the rooms don't really have any nice view and there is no swimming pool, something you might miss if you travel at the hottest season.

The hotel was very central to the town and beach, with everything easily walkable. Staff were always friendly and helpful, even before my trip when they offered assurances that all was fine in the local area due to wildfires elsewhere on the island that had impacted other trips around the time mine was taking place. This was really helpful! Room itself was good value for money with what you would expect with what you pay. Breakfast wasn't great, not many hot veggie options but there were other places locally so this wasn't a massive bother. Ideal for a solo trip, will return when I come back to Rhodes

Great little hotel, the location is ideal for all the restaurants and bars. The staff are all polite and professional. The rooms are cleaned and fresh towels replaced daily. Breakfast is varied and there is always something to eat. All communal areas are spotless.

Really nice small hotel, good value for the money! We got smiling and helpful service from the personnel during our stay. Our standard room was comfort and clean, also nice bathroom. Air condition was working and fine. Fairly good breakfast was pleasant surprise.
One negative side is that all the noise from the corridor was easy to hear to our room. That didn’t bother us too much though.
If you are looking for good & basic hotel, Africa is a good choice.

Excellent family run hotel. Very central, adequate breakfast, clean rooms and lovely friendly staff, especially the bar staff Would definitely stay again. Very reasonably priced too. No pool at the property but beach is a two minute walk. Old Town a quick 10 minute walk.

We have just returned from 10 day stay at Hotel Africa . We had a fantastic stay Everyone at the hotel could not have been more helpful and there friendliness made our stay even more special . Great location with the beach across the road , plenty bars and restaurants on the door step and the old town only a 10 min walk away 👍👍👍 I would highly recommend a stay here and if possible go for a room with a sea view .
