"Sunday lunch. We booked the table a few weeks ago and just as well as there was a steady stream of people turned away as they were fully booked. Sunday lunch was beef, turkey or salmon for £12.99. We had beef. Pipping hot and large portions, good selection of veg. Three desserts on the menu, tasty that we tried. Highly recommend. Inside, the pub is old fashioned, beams and dark. If that is not your thing go elsewhere. Staff were very nice and efficient. Our bill was ~£60. Excellent value we thought."

"Booked a 3 night stay to visit the redkites feeding sites nearby. We were welcomed and given useful information about other photography opportunities from the ones we had researched and local places to eat out. We booked the downstairs twin room as a door opens up to a pleasant courtyard. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Thanks Paul and Laura, we really enjoy our time at your guesthouse."

Food was outstandingly delicious and seriously plentiful. food and drinks are well priced. Rhayader has many pubs and restaurants to visit and enjoy local well being. The water reservoirs in Elan Valley are really worth visiting and has superb scenery. There is very quaint little church to visit too."
