Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Reykjavik

Reykjavik Grand è un noto hotel locale. La sua specialità dovrebbe essere il suo ristorante. Ha molti certificati di chef pluripremiati e ha persino preparato dolci per la Casa Bianca. La reception è molto accogliente, ma fate attenzione a restare sul lato alto, sopra il quinto piano, perché le tubature dell'acqua nella torre del quarto piano hanno ancora odore di zolfo, il che non è accettabile. La camera era OK, con vista sulla cattedrale e sul mare.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno estremamente piacevole e considereremo sicuramente questo hotel la prossima volta. Ottima posizione, personale cordiale e la camera aveva tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Anche il caffè e il tè gratuiti nella hall erano un bel tocco, specialmente in una città costosa come Reykjavik! Ho anche apprezzato il fatto che gli ospiti diano l'opportunità di rinunciare alla pulizia della camera e ricevono in cambio un buono per un drink per il bar dell'hotel.

Me and my Fiancé visited Iceland at the start of May for 4 nights (wish we had booked longer but hindsight is a great thing!) And from to finish it was amazing! The Hotel staff were incredibly friendly, as were all of the people we met in Iceland, its true what they say that everybody is so welcoming and friendly in Iceland. At check in we were greeted with a warm welcome by friendly staff, we did early check in which worked out around £40 but so worth it as we had been awake since 3:30am travelling. Our room was on the 6th floor and easy to get to via lift or stairs. It was very modern with a beautiful view, extremely cosy bed, very clean and had good amenities such as a mini fridge, hair dryer, towels & wash cloths etc. The only thing with our room was it was very hot in there despite having the window open but i guess that is because it was high up, so i'd recommend you have cool pyjamas for night time. We had breakfast included and oh my goodness it was outstanding! We are not usually breakfast people but we actually made sure we got up every morning to make sure we did not miss it! The bacon and eggs were delicious and my Fiancé said the croissant's other things he had were amazing! Two coffee machines, fresh water that was always being refilled, a cold juice machine and fresh fruit. And again the staff were friendly and welcoming which is always nice in the morning. We didn't try the restaurant as we were packing in so many activities in the day we just ate out wherever we found. We also didn't try the spa/gym and that was because of time as well. Overall we would definitely stay here again and maybe try a suite next time.

Molto moderno e, sebbene non tipico, bello. il buffet della colazione è veramente molto ricco e c'è un VEGAN CORNER con formaggi e creme varie. anche per i pasti, opzioni vegane. l'hotel ci ha preparato una breakfast box to go anche per la mattina in cui abbiamo preso l'aereo presto. le stanze sono calde e moderne e il personale è gentile. operazioni di check in rapide e fluide. consigliato.

Had a wonderful experience with this hotel .Staff in this hotel is very friendly . Hotel facilities and ambiance was really good . It was worth staying in this hotel.

This hotel has a lot going for it, but it's held back by the fit and finish of many of the hotel's spaces. Overall, the hotel just feels dated. The red carpet in all of the halls is faded and stained, the wood floor in the room had a lot of damage, and the spa is way past its prime. On a positive note, the furniture in the room has been updated recently and the pieces were nice plus I found the bed to be very comfortable. Also, breakfast was really good! The service at the hotel was also great. But that spa, ugh. It's a perk of being a gold/diamond member, but the spa is just not in good condition. Most urgently, something needs to be done about the steam room, it smelled awful while we were there and even made other parts of the spa smell. But overall, the spa was just not in good shape with damage everywhere. Also, the location of this hotel isn't great if you're looking to explore Reykjavik but, if like us, you want somewhere with free parking for you to explore the rest of Iceland, then this is a great location for you.

Appartamento davvero grazioso e dotato di tutto nel pieno centro della capitale. Il personale molto discreto ma attento nella pulizia e nella cura del soggiorno, anche se non richiesto, ogni mattina ci veniva fornito del caffè e del latte per la colazione. Self check-in comodo e funzionale, si fa tutto con un app del cellulare. Decisamente soddisfatti!

La posizione è grande.Il servizio è accettabile.Il colazione ha servito un sacco di cibo.Dopo tutto è consigliabile.

La struttura si trova proprio di fronte al porto, zona riqualificata piena di locali, ristoranti e musei. A pochi passi si può provare qualsiasi tipo di cucina: islandese, sushi, ramen, vietnamita, pesce. Le camere sono moderne e pulite, lo stile accattivante. Colazione ricca dalle 6.30 alle 10 del mattino. Personale gentilissimo. All’interno dell’hotel c’è anche un ristorante che abbiamo provato una sera e i piatti erano molto ben fatti. A pochi minuti a piedi è possibile arrivare anche in centro. Consigliatissimo.

I’m trying to write a balanced review … so here goes … Benefits: Location Clean rooms L’OR coffee machine … but there is a but later on …. Nice chocolate offered on check in but just slapped into my hand! 2 x bottles of water offered again just dumped into my hand no here we are complementary snacks and water on behalf of Canopy Hilton … I found this level of service not good. Set backs: Diamond member - remember a serious amount of money spent at Hilton brand hotels and extreme loyalty to the Hilton brand - No upgrade offered, but suites still Showing on Hilton app for entire stay and on booking.com Canopy Hilton might have shown the same commitment back to top tier members loyalty and in-fact a poor attitude and extremely lacking in customer service on front desk I would say 8/10 times during stay. No milk for L’OR coffee machine only creamer!! No milk for tea in room Poor bathroom amenities no shower cap, no toothbrushes, no razors etc had to ask not great! Housekeeping said they had none … asked at front desk and the Hilton colleague opened a draw full of amenities!!! Making guests go down to reception to beg instead of just providing in room!!! Demonstrates Poor customer service. Then to be told we may not have orange socks or shower caps we may have run out … surely at a top rated brand hotel there is stock take and orders are placed in a timely fashion! Not impressive from Canopy Hilton at all. No orange socks in room, but left bathrobes again poor customer service. No welcome to Canopy Hilton thank you for being a diamond member …. Again poor customer service not recognizing loyalty. No executive lounge - no drinks vouchers given to diamond members as in other Hiltons - seems mean and lacking in customer service. All in all as a diamond member felt a little let down after really looking forward to my trip especially at this brand of Hilton in a great location. Feels run by people who either haven’t been trained adequately, they have no commitment to the Hilton brand or simply just have no idea about hospitality.
