We came to Kuku Berghotel for the Kranzegg Viehscheid and had a wonderful time there. First of all the view and location are absolutely beautiful! And the hotel matches this. If you don't have a car, it is quite a walk up but is definitely worth it! Our room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. A kettle and tea were provided in the hall for pre-breakfast hours, which we really appreciated. The breakfasts were delicious and served with a wonderful view on the terrace area overlooking the alpacas. We pre-ordered Brotzeitplatten, which I highly recommend; they have meat and veggie options with fantastic homemade Brotaufstrich for a nice, light evening meal. A tourist card was provided, if you wanted to use local transport or do some local activities. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We arrived in the afternoon before their opening hours and were able to leave our bags in their locked bike room to go off and do some hiking. It was a truly magical experience, especially going to sleep and waking up with the sound of the cow bells on the hills, which made Viehschied that much more special.

Lovely hotel in the mountains of Allgäu. Quirky and elegant at the same time . Wonderful views, peaceful, great breakfast with many choices .. we loved the “pimp your Musli” station. Hiking paths direct from the hotel and walkable places for early dinners. We loved the hoffle alp. Lovely music in the dining area with honesty bar was very convenient. Be aware there are no employees on site in the afternoon / evening and one must find dinner elsewhere. We drove to the nearby brewery which had great food, but it’s not walkable in the evening… a car is an an absolute must. The alpacas who live at the hotel grounds are too cute for words. In summary we loved it !!!

Sehr gepflegtes und gut organisiertes Hotel. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Hotel hat sich sehr gut für einen Betriebsausflug geeignet.

In einem Wort: Genial! Das Motto ist an der Tagesordnung: Kurios und Kultig 😊 Die Lage, Umgebung, Zimmer, das Personal - einfach alles ist stimmig, witzig, süß, traumhaft, kurios, kultig - einfach genial! Hier hat sich jemand viele Gedanken gemacht und etwas ganz Besonderes und vor allem Anderes geschaffen. Können es nur empfehlen 👍🏻 Man muss es selber gesehen haben, sonst glaubt man es nicht 😅

Ich durfte im KuKu einen runden Geburtstag feiern und wenn ich mir diese Tage hätte malen dürfen, dann wären sie genauso gewesen wie ich und meine Gäste sie dort erleben durften. Wir hatten das Hotel für das Wochenende gebucht und es war einfach perfekt, dank der tollen KuKu-Crew die alles dafür getan hat damit wir uns dort wohlfühlen. Ein schönes Hotel, eine Terrasse mit Aussicht zum Niederknien, sehr gutes Essen, entspanntes Day&NightDrinking, großartiger, freundlicher und professioneller Service und auch das schöne Wetter hat die KuKu-Crew noch perfekt organisiert 😄. An dieses Event werde ich noch lange mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen denken.

Dieses kleine Berghotel ist ein echtes Juwel im Allgäu, das mit seinem einzigartigen und charmanten Charakter sofort begeistert. Jedes Detail, von den individuell gestalteten Themenzimmern bis zur herzlichen Gastfreundschaft, trägt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis bei. Die Lage direkt am Grünten ist traumhaft und bietet eine herrliche Panoramaaussicht sowie eine wunderbar ruhige Atmosphäre – perfekt zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Kerstin und Ute kümmern sich sowas von herzlich um ihre Gäste und zaubern dir ein besonderes regionales Frühstück, z.B. mit Löwenzahn-Marmelade. Nutz unbedingt bei der Buchung die Option, dir am Anreisetag eine regionale Brotzeitplatte zu bestellen, sauguat. Die Umgebung ist ideal für Naturliebhaber und Wanderfreunde. Die Nähe zum Bier.Genuss.Dorf Rettenberg mit seinen drei Brauereien und den Bier.Genuss.Wanderwegen ist ein weiteres Highlight. Auch die Alpsee Bergwelt und zahlreiche andere Aktivitäten sind schnell erreichbar. Wir haben die persönliche Atmosphäre und die Liebe zum Detail, die das KUKU Berghotel auszeichnen, sehr genossen. Wer eine besondere Auszeit in den Bergen sucht und Wert auf Individualität und regionale Genüsse legt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren rundum begeistert vom Hotel, dem Service und der schönen Umgebung. Per Self Check In konnten wir in wenigen Minuten einchecken und das wunderschöne Zimmer beziehen. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist super und die gesamte Umgebung ist perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war klein, aber ausreichend und lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und engagiert. Toll fanden wir die Selbstversorgerkühlschränke! Lediglich bei den Brotzeitplatten hätten wir uns mehr Auswahl vorab (die Optionen waren vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch) und mehr Gemüse gewünscht, die Platte war doch sehr käselastig. Alles in Allem ein toller Aufenthalt, wir kommen sicher nochmal wieder!

Gute Lage unterhalb des Grüntens. Schöne Wanderwege starten ab dem Hotel. Das Hotel ist stylisch und mit allgäuer Charme. Die Wirtin und ihr Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und schmackhaft. Unser Themenzimmer mit viel Holz hätte etwas größer sein können (sehr gutes Bett!). Dafür war das Bad mit Fernsicht sehr geräumig. Der Aufenthaltsraum läd zum abendlichen verweilen ein. Gasthöfe sind bergab in max. 10 bis 20 min zu erreichen.
