Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Rethymno

Abbiamo avuto un piccolo sovraclassamento, un gesto carino. L’hotel è ben situato, le camere (appartamento) sono grandi, molto pulite e molto ben attrezzate. Al quarto piano non c'è alcun problema con la strada in contrabbanda. Idem con la piscina che è top. Bar disponibile il giorno. La serata barbecue ogni mercoledì sera è molto freddo. Tutto il personale è molto gentile e competente. Il SPA è perfetto, Mariana è iper attenta e super pro. Super soggiorno in Ungheria 👍👍

Un hotel evidentemente ben gestito e manutenuto. Personale competente e gentile. Camere arredate in modo funzionale e con mobilio recente. Pulizia generale soddisfacente ed attenzioni riguardo alle avvertenze Covid ben rispettate. Ampia varietà di pietanze sia a colazione sia a cena. Unica pecca la mancanza di parcheggio privato e diverse auto ”abbandonate” in strada che limitano i posti (non certamente imputabile alla gestione della struttura). Posizione centrale rispetto ai principali siti turistici.

Having just returned from a 14 night stay at Jo-An Palace hotel, Rethymnon, we needed to leave a review. The position of the hotel is in easy reach of the Old town, harbour, fortress and the promenade beach front, all flat walking. On arrival check in was very quick, we arrived very late but the reception is manned 24 hours and the reception staff are very friendly and speak excellent English, we were left sandwiches and crisps and bottled water in the room because we missed dinner, this was much appreciated.The bedrooms are very similar with air conditioning, the beds are very comfortable with sheets and duvets, shower very powerful with hot water any time of day, towels, bathrobes, slippers toiletries and hairdryer provided. Friendly house keeping service the rooms everyday keeping them clean. We recommend a garden view room very quiet. Breakfast and dinner are both buffet style, the breakfast had excellent choice of continental and hot food, cold juice, water and hot drinks served from a machine, dinner lots of fresh salads, hot food or you would say warm food small choice but the desserts choice was better also,apples, oranges and bananas always available.The waiting and kitchen staff work hard to make a pleasant dining experience. The head waitress is an excellent ambassador for the hotel, making time to greet every guest. The bar is well stocked, this also sells food and snacks, once again all the bar staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooftop swimming pool and bar with seating area and very comfortable sunbeds was kept spotlessly clean. The view from the rooftop is amazing.

DISASTROSO Io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo sempre adattati ad ogni tipo di situazione e questo voglio premetterlo, ma in questo hotel veramente abbiamo raggiunto i bassi fondi, abbiamo prenotato tramite agenzia viaggi chiedendo esplicitamente una camera con letto matrimoniale e bagno con la doccia senza vasca, dato che l'hotel appunto offriva queste tipologie di camere, abbiamo prenotato quasi 5 mesi prima del nostro soggiorno appunto per sistemare questi dettagli, e l'agenzia ha appunto segnalato ciò che richiedevamo, arrivati in hotel non abbiamo trovato ne il letto matrimoniale (cioè due letti singoli attaccati) ne il box doccia ( solo vasca ) inoltre avevamo pagato un ”plus” per la camera ”deluxe”, ma era tutta tranne che deluxe, bagno: piccolissimo, senza bidet, con lo scarico che ogni qualvolta ci lavavamo usciva fuori la schiuma, Camera: piccolissima, pulita discretamente. Nella camera deluxe avremmo dovuto trovare un cesto di frutta, abbiamo trovato invece un piatto con due mele e una pera e sono rimaste lì in stanza per 15 giorni senza toglierle ne cambiarle visto che oramai erano marce. Per la pulizia delle stanze dovevamo ogni volta avvisare il giorno prima la reception, quindi se dimentichi di avvisarli non ti puliscono la stanza e noi i primi 2 giorni, nonostante avessimo comunicato più e più volte di pulirci la stanza si sono dimenticati, e ah l'unica receptionist che dovrebbe parlare italiano oltre che essere maleducata, scortese, altezzosa e senza un minimo di competenza non ci salutava mai e dico MAI ogni volta passavamo davanti alla reception e ogni volta che dovevamo chiederle di farci pulire la stanza la sua risposta senza salutare e altro era ”Lo so” in maniera provocatoria. Veramente sconcertante. Parliamo ora di ristorazione, noi siamo persone molto umili che hanno lavorato sodo per un anno per andare in vacanza pagando anche qualcosina in più per godersi una vacanza fatta bene, ma abbiamo trovato cibo veramente di scarsissima qualità, ripetitivi, nessuna serata a tema, carne che sa di pesce e pesce che sa di carne perché cucinati nello stesso posto secondo noi perché sennò non ci sarebbero spiegazioni logiche, parecchie cose surgelate sia a cena che a colazione, e il cameriere che ci ha servito nella maggior parte delle volte a bordo piscina alto più anziano è stato pessimo, senza mai un sorriso, un saluto a parte qualche eccezione quando c'era il caposala che allora era costretto, ma il resto era come se il fatto che noi fossimo giovani e italiano gli desse davvero fastidio. Gli unici camerieri camerieri che si salvano sono Arghiro la donna più carina e cortese di tutto l'hotel intero e i ragazzi giovani che lavorano lì. Sconsigliato assolutamente soprattutto perché a Rethymno ce ne sono molti altri hotel più belli, e con rapporto qualità prezzo miglior. È la prima volta che confrontandoci con altri ospiti in hotel hanno avuto gli stessi problemi. Veramente una vergogna. NOI NON CI RITORNEREMO MAI PIÙ.

Μείναμε ενα τριήμερο 8 με 11 Απριλίου ως ζευγάρι, πολύ ευγενική εξυπηρέτηση από το front office staff, ειδικά η Χριστίνα, εξυπηρετικοτατη με μια θετική ηρεμη αύρα και γενικά όσους είδαμε εκεί είχαμε πολύ φιλική αντιμετώπιση. Πράγμα που θέλαμε μιας και ήταν μια γρήγορη έξοδος πριν μπούμε κι εμείς σε δύσκολη σεζόν. Πράγματι χαλαρωσαμε. Είχε κάποια μικρά θέματακια το δωμάτιο που δεν μας πτόησε καθόλου το γεγονός αλλά ήταν όλα αντιμετωπισημα και μικρολεπτομέρειες. Δυστυχώς το εστιατόριο ήταν κλειστό ακόμα άρα δεν έχουμε άποψη. Εμείς πληρώσαμε κατα κύριον λόγο με το Τουρισμός για όλους άρα ναι μεν τσιμπημένη η τιμή αλλά δε μας ένοιαξε τόσο. Ενδεχομένως να γυρίζαμε κάποια στιγμή στο μέλλον για άλλη μια απόδραση!
