Motel 6 Reno - Virginia Plumb

Room 151 - No TV in room - Had requested Microwave & Fridge on reservation - Both not available when checked in - Reserved 2 Queen beds - was given a double bed instead - Window curtain hung with wires - Only had (1) towel for (2) people -Front desk insisted that room 240, which we were originally assigned was on the ground floor - of course its on the second floor - Spouse mobility impaired - Night Desk is oblivious to motel layout and activities happening on the property - A Welfare / Section 8 property -

The employees are extremely helpful and go out of there way to accommodate you. It's much better with the new staff they have. It's clean and there is always someone there to go out of there way for you.. I highly recommend starting here.

I've stayed at them all. This one is by far the nicest. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nicer area. Odessa at the front desk is amazing and as sweet as can be, as are everyone else there. Next time I'm here, I know this will be the place I end up staying, and the price is unbeatable

Connie was there when I checked in. She is one of the best employees they have at the motel she goes above and beyond for the customers. She very kind and friendly. She is also very respectful and caring. I had a lot of luggage with me and she help me take it to my room. From the area of the motel and to its wonderful staff. I feel like I right back at home. Mike, Canessa, and Also Sabrina have been extremely to me on my stay here and if you want to feel welcomed come here to this motel 6. These are not just employees to me they have became extend family. I thank them and the wonderful staff they have understand them and making my stay at motel 6 feel like home.

Stayed at the motel 6 on south Virginia they had great customer service room was very clean whenever I needed service they were on it and they were very nice ppl as well.. come and book wit them thank you for great hospitality

Was traveling with a group of college students on their way to CA and we stopped en route. We called ahead for our rooms and were told they had availability and it was within our (limited) budget. When we got there, the lobby was closed and a single clerk was helping people behind glass (bulletproof??). There was a long line (in the cold) and the hotel had people doing ***** in the parking lot. There were sand "features" that were full of dog poop so watch where you step. While we were in line, at least two groups returned to the window to say that they'd been given rooms that were already occupied. The clerk couldn't tell us if we actually had rooms or not. We cancelled our reservations on the spot and continued on to Sacramento.

We recently stayed at this Motel 6 on our July road trip. We booked day-of, so didn't have that many options. Neighborhood was sketchy. Pool was closed and green. The sidewalks outside of the hotel were sticky, disgusting messes. They could do a lot to improve the appearance of the hotel just by power washing the sidewalks. We found cigarette ash on the bathroom counter of our non-smoking room and an EKG sticker in the bathroom. The hotel clerk was very apologetic and was willing to change the rooms, but we were already unpacked and given the liquor bottles scattered around the property, I didn't have high hopes for any other rooms, plus he didn't have any more 2 rooms with 2 beds. Other than that, the rooms were generally big enough and the beds were clean.
