Hotel a Redfern, Australia

Only gave 1 star due to not being able to give 0. Black mold over entire bathroom. Not a single tiled surface was mold free. Cockroaches crawling in at night under the doors. The vent of the air con unit was covered in dust and more black mold. Not that the air con unit worked anyway. We stayed middle of winter so lucky for us all the sheets including pillows were made entirely of plastic (natural fibres would have left us freezing). Staff were only there probably to clean and that's it, because we never saw them. Ever! We tried to check in 20 minutes early and the lady claimed ”there is no luggage storage”. Lo and behold, when we were finally checked in there is a massive painted sign saying ”luggage storage”. Also, the room wasn't ready even by 2PM, the stated check-in time. We saw one gentleman traveller waiting outside to check in at 7PM in the freezing cold for God knows how long he sat there, but we were unable to let him in due to signage explicitly stating that letting in people would lead to non-refundable expulsion. Also, the doors only open with an App, so if your phone does good luck getting in. Honestly, if my phone died, I would have called the cops and had them find a way to let us in with the non-existent staff. Cleaning lady was so lovely. Reception lady was horrible. Kitchen had a faulty stove that was always firing. This is probably not advisable, as a simple gas leak could mean this misfiring burner will blow the place up - if only that would happen (with no-one staying there), because that is the only way this place is going to get better (a complete rebuild). Kitchen was filthy, with no cups to be seen anywhere. I probably wouldn't have used them anyway. Why the heck is there a massive tarp covering the balcony? Did this place semi-burn down??? Also would like to state that the photos provided are most likely from the Glebe location that they also own. The photos looked simple, which is what I wanted. Simple, not freaking disgusting. I have stayed in backpackers in Africa that are legitimately better than this hell-hole. Might I add that one of those places included a room with no glass in the window, and I found that place better than The Village!!!! I have copied this review in case it is ”magically” lost. I will be posting it elsewhere.

Un amico e io siamo rimasti qui per tre notti e siamo stati molto felici di tutta l'esperienza. Arrivammo presto al mattino, con poche ore prima che la nostra stanza fosse disponibile per il check-in, ma il personale era amichevole e accogliente, e ci permetteva di tenere le valigie nella loro stanza posteriore fino a quando la nostra stanza era disponibile. La stanza stessa era semplice e pulita, con un piccolo accesso al balcone. Cerchiamo un soggiorno con un budget stretto, e come tale non cercavamo un hotel di lusso, quindi la stanza soddisfava perfettamente le nostre aspettative. Abbiamo una camera gemella, con letti molto comodi e spazio sufficiente per due persone. Se stai cercando un soggiorno completo con tutte le campane e le stronzate, questo non è il posto per te, ma se sei appena dopo un confortevole, ben situato posto per dormire, allora Hacienda tickle tutte le casse. Si trova tra una strada occupata e una linea ferroviaria, ma le camere sono ben provate e il rumore non è davvero una questione. Il nostro ultimo giorno, il nostro volo di partenza non era fino a tardi la sera, ma il personale era ancora una volta estremamente accogliente e ci ha permesso di rimasti ammazzare i bagagli dopo aver controllato, in modo che non dovevamo incollarli per il giorno. Sarei 100% qui di nuovo la prossima volta che sono in città, e consiglierei a chiunque sia sul mercato per un soggiorno a buon mercato con un bel personale

Adoro stare qui vicino al Moore Park SCG, al Pavilione Hordern e allo Allianz stadion per sport e concerti, la Crown Street è piena di grandi ristoranti e caffè locali, e il pub a piedi ha grandi cibi e bevande. Le camere sono completamente tranquille, con aria condizionata e letti grandi e confortevoli. Tutto è stato bello e pulito, in attesa di tornare qui nel mio prossimo viaggio.

Incredibilmente gentile e utile personale. Le camere erano pulite e spaziose e la matrice si sentiva come una nuvola! Il processo di prenotazione era molto facile e abbiamo fatto un ottimo affare. Non posso aspettare di tornare a dicembre!

Made a last minute booking due to broad train network failure and was unable to get home in a timely fashion. Location very convenient to Central station . The bar was buzzing and the staff were very friendly on check-in given I’d booked 10mins earlier on booking.com. They took me to my room and gave me a rundown of the services. While the rooms are old, they are clean and the linen and towels were good quality and the bed and pillows comfortable. It was a hot night and the A/C delivered keeping my peri menopausal at bay. I ordered a delicious meal from the bistro and was able to walk to work very well rested the next morning. I will happily stay there again.

Vivete in questo hotel per molti giorni, mi sento bene, principalmente la stanza è pulita. Anche se la superficie è molto piccola, Sydney è anche oro in pollice, il rapporto di prezzo del credito è relativamente buono, perché la posizione geografica è eccellente, il viaggio è molto conveniente, non lontano dalla stazione centrale, e sarà molto conveniente ovunque. E'molto conveniente mangiare intorno.

Avevo visitato la settimana della moda australiana e cercavo un posto dove stare a piacere. Non cercavo un alloggio di tipo studente Adina era la più vicina a Cariageworks e mi sorprendeva davvero. Non ho mai avuto nessuno che portasse i miei bagagli nella mia stanza in Australia! Ho offerto un consiglio e non accettavano. La stanza era immacolata, mi sentivo come la prima persona a usarla. Ho trovato la stanza molto tranquilla, anche se ha guardato la piscina. Ho detto che non bevo acqua fuori dal tappeto e quando sono tornato c'erano tre tin di acqua ancora sul tavolo della cucina. Non posso valutare Adina abbastanza. Congratulazioni, sarò di nuovo!

La posizione di Mercure è molto vicina alla Stazione Centrale, che è molto adatta per famiglie come noi con anziani e bambini. Ci ha suggerito di sottoscriverci come membro, per poter parcheggiare a un tasso di sconto di $45 al giorno (il primo sembra essere $49). Ci sono piscina e fitness sul quattordicesimo piano. Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo chiamato la ricezione per i servizi. Il personale è venuto in camera per fornire servizi. Inoltre, forse abbiamo soggiornato durante il periodo di Natale, c'era un disegno. Il mio bambino era molto felice di vincere un'auto a distanza giocattolo, che ha aggiunto più gioia. Ci siamo divertiti con il nostro soggiorno. Il personale dell'hotel che abbiamo incontrato lì è molto bello e utile. Se andiamo a Sydney di nuovo, considereremo Mercure di nuovo! 🙂🙂

Rimasi solo per una notte in una stanza per una persona, ma è esattamente quello che volevo! Camera pulita, buon letto e una doccia. Mi piaceva il caffè e il tè gratuito, e il Caramello Koala’s alla reception. Sicuramente consigliare se dovete andare all'aeroporto o altrove con il treno da Central!
