"Hotel Hacienda Redfern is perfect for an action-packed city break if you won’t be spending much time in your room. Although the room is quite small, it’s clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing does a decent job. However, travelers sensitive to noise should note that the nearby railway can be a bit disruptive. The location is excellent, with easy access to Redfern’s lively bar scene, and it’s only a short stroll or bike ride to both Central and Redfern stations."

"The service was very good. When we first checked in, there was an issue with the air conditioner, but reception was able to get us a different room. Overall was pretty clean, and all the staff were very friendly. The Goki app was extremely easy to use and so much easier than a physical key. Would absolutely stay there again."

One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in and extra touches such as waters in the mini Fridge and communal kitchen with juices and cereal go a long way to making this pub accommodation, a boutique Sydney stay. "Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Küche inkl Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Herd und sogar Backofen, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle. Sogar Frischmilch stand im Kühlschrank bereit, eine kleine aber ausreichende Auswahl an Tee und Kaffee und Rohzucker. Das Badezimmer war ausgestattet mit Waschbecken, Dusche, WC plus 2. Becken für Wäsche und Waschmaschine plus Trockner, Föhn. Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett. Balkon mit 2 Stühlen und Tisch und kleinem Wäscheständer. Das Bett fand ich bequem. Leider waren auf der Zwischendecke aber recht große Flecken. Leider hat der Safe nicht funktioniert, sollte getauscht werden, wurde aber nie gemacht, weil kein funktionierendes Gerät gefunden wurde. Der TV wäre zwar mit allen möglichen Features und Programmen (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon … ) vorgesehen, aber es konnte kein einziges Programm gestartet werden - immer Fehlermeldungen. Selbst nach mehrmaligem neu verbinden mit dem hauseigenen WLAN funktioniert nichts. Die Möbel sind teilweise sehr abgenutzt und gehören ausgetauscht. Teilweise kaputt und Wasserschäden. Der Schrank war so gut wie unbrauchbar, weil man die Türen, die Richtung Bett aufgingen, nur etwa zu einem Drittel öffnen konnte, dann war das Bett im Weg und man könnte nur am Bett sitzend in den Schrank kriechen. Grundsätzlich war es sauber, Geräte wirkten recht neu, aber es gehört dringend mal neu ausgemalen, Fenster und Balkon geputzt, mal die Decke abgesaugt und einige Möbel ersetzt. Personal war durchwegs freundlich und wirkte bemüht."

"Simple room next to central station, carper need some deep cleaning but as it is black seams to be clean. Under hotel you can find ****** and bar. There was small windows window that was facing inside of the building, not much natural light in the room. In description of the hotel - luggage storage, but as we arrive we found out that this information is not actual and we need to find another place. Still , it is a fair price for transit hotel in the center."
