"4/09/24: Sono un londinese e questa è la mia terza volta di soggiornare al Beacon- non era programmato- ma le opere stradali sul M1 & torrential significa che sono tornato- senza prenotazione! Il manager era molto benvenuto, e io avevo un compagno con me, ma ho snodato, così ho riuscito a ottenere le ultime due camere - fortunatamente! Questo hotel è eccezionale: molto ben situato (Morrisons 10 min, autobus 4 min, treno 5 min!), in modo immacolato pulito e tranquillo, grandi camere, e una cucina dove si può fare il vostro cibo e stoccare nel loro frigorifero! Quanti posti offrono questo! C'è un cortile per fumatori, c'è un personale molto accogliente, c'è una grande sala colazione e c'è un minuto di cammino verso l'acqua!Abfab!Peter Gregory"

"Not sure how many times we've stopped over here now, everytime is as good as the previous one, free secure parking , clean, tidy, welcoming, great food and friendly, extremely helpful hosts . I'd recommend without hesitation, we'll definitely be back!"

"Went for a bar meal and asked about the carvery - was told could only get a carvery plated up for us as we were in the bar. Not an issue in itself but asked if I could substitute any potatoes based item for an extra Yorkshire pud for dietary reasons. Was told I would have to pay extra even though I would be losing a large portion of my meal. No effort to accommodate so left and went somewhere else"

"I stayed at the Lakeside on Tuesday this week with my sister . A very warm welcome from Ray ,friendly and nothing was to much trouble . The rooms are spacious and very clean the view of the boating lake and the sea from the room was glorious . After spending the day in Redcar we came back to my room where my sister Ray and i made a cuppa pulled up the chairs to the terraced window and enjoyed the view. Ray and his sister gave us directions and recommended the Lobster a local pub five minutes away ,very warm and friendly. I cant rate this lovely guest house or the owner high enough ,ten out of ten and higher ,Ray even took us to the station the following morning . If you haven't discovered this lovely guest house give yourselves a treat . thanks from Christine and Ray "
