We sprung for a room with a balcony over the creek and it was worth every penny. The room itself was incredible but it was so zen out on the balcony and down in the rocking chairs below. It looks like they're still improving the property, but I think it was stellar as is. The location is perfect, surrounded by beauty, and super close to the pass or downtown Red Lodge. The Team there, and even guests, were super friendly. We can't wait to go back. Our only regret was not staying longer.

The hotel accommodations, rooms, common areas and grounds were exquisite. Tastefully decorated, clean, spacious. The staff was kind and helpful. They assisted with on site and off site activities and reservations. We travelled there with our 4 and 6 year old boys and it was an awesome trip for us, them and our whole family. It could be a great experience as a family trip or a couples trip. The food was excellent. I highly recommend Rock Creek Resort to anyone looking for a fun trip to one of the most beautiful places in the country!

Our family of 4 stayed at Rock Creek Resort for 3 nights. This recently renovated property is wonderfully unique and surrounded by beauty at every turn. The rooms are very spacious and beds are super comfortable. Our room overlooked Rock Creek and we had the sliding door to the balcony cracked to hear the soothing waters at night. It was blissful. The Wild Rose had great food and it also overlooks Rock Creek so its a great way to start or end the day. I took in a fly fishing excursion one morning and the guides were fantastic! Just a phenomenal location to experience Montana and there are endless trails to explore within just a short drive. Also the Mount Maurice trailhead right behind the property and it is is challenging, rewarding and beautiful. Red Lodge is a really cool town to explore with great restaurants and things to do.... and is only 5 miles away. We can't wait to return to this amazing place!

What a fantastic place to visit. The property is stunning and the new rooms are outstanding. I went with some friends to do some hiking and try our hand at fly fishing. The staff were amazing to work with and got us set up with great guides to plan a morning of fly fishing. The afternoon was spent hiking the many trails and taking in the phenomenal scenery. In being located at the beginning of the Beartooth Pass, we did the drive over the pass (breathtaking) and went to Yellowstone Park for the day. Only 1hr 15min away. The Wild Rose restaurant at Rock Creek, was also phenomenal. An elevated dining experience in an affordable and laid back atmosphere serving "Montana inspired" cuisine. ie: Rabbit & Rattlesnake Sausage - which after i got my head around it, was incredible. I highly recommend this gem and will be back with the family. Thank you for the hospitality and just a great trip overall.

I had the pleasure of staying at the recently reopened Rock Creek Resort. The renovation is a huge improvement while still keeping the character of a long running Red Lodge resort. There is plenty to do on property with a restaurant available for all meals in the main lodge and the Old Piney Dell soon to be reopened which I’m excited to experience next trip. As a cyclist, the Beartooth Pass was on my bucket list to do and there’s no better place to stay if you’re going up the most scenic road in the US by car, motorcycle or bike it’s a must do. Lastly the creek providing the white noise outside the guest rooms on that side is a great amenity on its own. All in all RCR is an awesome property that I’m thrilled to see reopened and improved.

Having visited Rock Creek Resort many years ago, I was excited to see the renovation of the property. My fond recollection of being there was the peaceful sound of the creek and the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are inviting, comfortable, and include thoughtful amenities. The staff was attentive, professional, and warmly hospitable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.

Rock Creek Resort in Red Lodge Montana is a really special place today and will only get better as the owner’s reimagining/ renovation is completed. It offers a first class accommodation for you to experience the best of Western style recreation- horseback riding, whitewater rafting, fishing, and even snow skiing in Winter months. The town of nearby Red Lodge is a “lucky strike” extra . Small town of 2590 friendly and welcoming townspeople with a number of great restaurants, bars, and shops. My family intends to visit every Summer.

We headed to Red Lodge in July not knowing what to expect. We absolutely fell in love with the resort as soon as we arrived. First, the beauty of Montana is second to none. From the mountains to the tranquility of the rivers, Red Lodge does not disappoint. The newly imagined resort was wonderful. From the large well decorated rooms, the delicious food, to the friendly staff this place was on point. We had both lunch and dinner at the Wild Irish Rose restaurant and found the offerings to be very tasty. The staff even recommended going to the pig races which turned out to be a great time (after watching the car parade in town). Our only regret with the trip. was that it was too short. We cant wait to come back to Rock Creek Resort and spend more time exploring and enjoying all of the amenities the resort has to offer.

This resort is beautifully decorated with spacious rooms. The staff is welcoming and warm. The location is perfect with a running creek right behind the hotel and access to the Beartooth Highway. Lots of activities including fly fishing, horesbacking riding and great hikes are nearby or on site. You will love this hotel! We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back again!
