My husband and I stayed at the Red Lion Bed & Breakfast for two nights, joining my cousin and her husband from Pittsburgh for this long-planned weekend excursion to a local festival. The Red Lion B & B was the perfect setting to catch up and relax. Every detail was pitch-perfect, including the immaculate rooms, fluffy terry-cloth robes for our use, the lovingly restored historical home, and the delicious breakfasts that accommodated our vegetarian diet. The grounds are lovely and blooming, and there are a few pretty chickens in their area with night-time coops to keep them safe. Free parking is available on a corner of the property. George, our host, was so helpful in every way, including assisting us with directions to the interesting center of Lancaster and recommendations for lunch.

Went to Red Lion at Horndean, for large family reunion. Superb food, superb service, and would like to thank Matt and his team for the above and beyond service. Thank you so much. Everybody was very happy. Would recommend the Red Lion to everyone. We are now thinking of holding this reunion yearly.

Don’t spend your money with a RACIST BIGGET! Spent £80 on drinks, and a friend unfortunately dropped his drink, accidents happen, advised the landlady what happened and that I’d clean it up, she kicked off, got rude, gave us back chat we left! All boils down to colour of our skin, as a local said she don’t like your type! What’s my type? INDIAN? Avoid this place! Greyhound or White Heart pubs are much better and welcoming
