I recently stayed at the Colonial Motor Lodge in Redcliffs, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you would expect, like a cozy and comfortable bed, a functional TV, and a small fridge. The decor had a charming, classic feel that matched the colonial theme, which added a nice touch of character to the stay. The bathroom was spotless, with water pressure lacking a touch it still had plenty of hot water in the shower. I also appreciated the complimentary toiletries. The room was quiet, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep. The staff at the lodge were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out quick and easy! The owner also follows a great football team.

Never book direct Paid $150 could get online for $130 Stayed here for wedding 30 years ago & don’t think they have done anything since Eg toilet door does shut Cabinetry old pink and knocked around Booked disability room but only given ground floor room not disability room with bars etc

All good, heater worked, shower was hot, it was quiet, the owners and staff were friendly and accommodating, and reasonably priced!

Decided to stay outside of Mildura and this motel was perfect for our needs. Room is a good size with comfortable beds and we liked having a sofa to sit on. We had been traveling for a few days and decided to make use of the cooking facilities for dinner and breakfast. There is a microwave, kettle and toaster along with the necessary crockery and cutlery. Bed was comfortable, water hot and WiFi good. Split system was a bit noisy so we turned it off but the room remained warm enough. I would suggest you request downstairs if you have issues with steps or heavy luggage. We were on the ground level and had no issues with traffic noise. Shops and cafes are within walking distance and there are two supermarkets close by. If you feel like eating out, there us a club across the road. We would definitely recommend.

We had very noisy people next door until early hours of morning
There was a lot of mould in shower recess

I was nearing the end of four weeks of extensive travel which included a trip to England and Scotland... returning to Australia to do a road trip to Broken Hill and then Gawler... I was slowing down and really needing to rest. I pulled into the motel much later than I anticipated I would and was fortunate enough to get the last room just as the manager was leaving. Customer service here was very good. Location is easy to find and walking distance to eateries. The room looks like a budget room where it meets all your needs, but it is overpriced for what is on offer. I noted a lot of the cars in the lot were 4WD's so they left early the next morning and it was difficult to sleep through the departures. It would have been nice if they had all left around the same time, but it was like they were tag teaming... one would leave... another would wake up... make noise and leave. This was no fault of the motel... it was just noisy.
