Festa Panorama Hotel

The week I spent here was great but what made it great was the Animation Team that took care of us and entertained everyone. Big thanks to Ivo, Nik and the rest. Best animation team ever, really try to connect with everybody at the hotel. Made our trip much more memorable.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, I genuinely do not have one bad word to say! The staff are wonderful, so helpful, hardworking and delightful! Every one of them made our 4 year old little girl feel special and like a princess! Food is so beautiful and tasty and plenty on offer for fussy eaters and also lots to try for the more adventurous. The indoor children’s pool is a perfect 28 degrees. The outdoor pool is cooler but just what you need on the very hot days to cool off. Housekeeping visit every day and give fresh towels daily. Hand wash, shower gel and shampoo all provided complementary. The sea and nearby Sunny Beach are immaculate, there’s jellyfish in the water which we were initially concerned about however when we saw the locals paying them no concern we were reassured, the water is warm and very shallow until very far out, perfect for families with young children. Nearby old Nessebar is beautiful and the multi museum tickets are well worth the money. No need to pay for expensive tour, very simple to navigate around yourselves. Overall a very beautiful hotel and holiday.

So the hotel is comfortable but a bit dated. poor layout, could be better. bar has one person serving at either bar so long queues. Not enough seating inside or out. The air conditioning is poor it is hot in the hotel and it was cooler to open the balcony door than the air con itself only goes down to about 19 degrees. The food was poor breakfast being the best meal. salad was ok and there was cheese and hams. cooked food tasteless and lack of choice. one day pasta dish was just pasta with cream over it no other flavours. Everypne we spoke with complained. couple of nice restaurants within close distance though served lovely food planty of choice and very reasonable. pool lovely but gritty underfoot. poor access only one side by ladder and away from the sunbeds. if thought out there is plenty of room for steps to have been added for easier access but sadly none. Staff and cleanliness though very good.

The hotel itself is decent. The rooms were cleaned daily by a lovely lady whose name I didn’t get. We had a family room for the 4 of us and it was massive with a great view of the sea off a huge balcony. The food was good too. Always something for all of us to eat and we had a party of 8 so as you can imagine that’s no easy feat. A massive shout out to magdalena who made the omelettes fresh each morning. They were delicious. The pools were clean and we had sun beds around the pool each day so that was good. The pool bar which served snacks and alcohol was brilliant too. We ate a lot of chips and toasties by the pool. The cocktails were on point too. Just what you need while by the pool. One small gripe was the fact the ice creams by the pool were full when we got there but empty within 2 days and not refilled until the day we were leaving so maybe they could refill it every 2/3 days The animation team were good too. Always trying to involve everyone in activities. Now onto the bar staff most of who are really good and can’t help enough. They were brilliant to be fair. Apart from the one whose name is Anton. He is a nightmare of a man. I gave him the benefit of the doubt starting out as everyone has a bad day now and then. I think he needs to be spoken to about the way he treats guests. He was very rude to at least 8 different groups of families. He was rude to my family on numerous occasions and we did mention it to reception. I’m assuming you will see a lot of these reviews as everyone said the same. I don’t understand him being in hospitality with his stinking attitude. I’m sure most people would be put off returning because of his attitude. It was as if everything was a massive chore for him to do anything for anyone. Other than him I think we really enjoyed our stay but he needs a lesson in people skills.

Fab week last week. Great staff fab pool and plenty of choice in restaurant. Yes rooms need upgrading but were clean. Special mention to Antony and Dinko. Animation team very good too. Area very clean no sign of rubbish. Old Town is lovely but don't take promenade walk go via road much quicker.

This was our first visit to Bulgaria and we decided on staying in Nessabar rather than the bustling Sunny Beach. This is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, extremely comfortable beds, very nice food and a nice sized outdoor and indoor pool. There is a pool bar serving drinks and some snacks and the main lobby bar inside the hotel. After 2200 the lobby bar closes and they open a night bar until midnight downstairs. They have a spa offering treatments at very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and I must mention three who really were outstanding. Firstly Nickolina in the restaurant who is always smiling. Also the young man and women on reception who sound Irish but I believe are actually Polish. They are very helpful. You get one free visit to the Al a Carte restaurant which is situated at the back of the main restaurant by the drinks counter. I have only two complaints. Firstly the air conditioning in the rooms does not really work and it seems that a lot of people had the same problem. Secondly they allow people to reserve sun loungers so people start taking towels out from 0700. I hate this situation but in the end you have to join them or not get a sun lounger. If that happens don't despair as often there are loungers in the grass area at the back. It's actually very nice there. It's an easy half hour walk into Old Nessabar which is an amazing place to visit. You can also get there by bus for 2 Lev or the Dotto Train for 6 Lev. Also the buses and Dotto go to Sunny Beach.

We came last year, and had an amazing time, this time was a little quieter and the pool bar didn’t have alcohol in apart from beer as it was quiet. I understand but it doesn’t hurt to have a couple of spirits or wine that are easy to make. This affected our experience really as you had to go inside to get alcohol and get dressed every time. Can’t fault the room/food/customer service/ Michał at reception was very friendly and Adam also. As it was last year the highlight of the holiday was the Animation team. We have already made friends with Ivo last year, and this year we made friends with Misha, Devi and Nik and they made what would’ve been a quiet time really fun and are really good at their jobs. The disco part of the night bar is the best part. They are the reason we will continue to be repeating customers!!

Having booked this hotel then reading some reviews I was a little worried. I certainly didn't need to be. We arrived at silly o'clock. Greater very warmly and even given a bag with water, sandwiches, cakes and fruit in it. Rooms immaculate clean. In fact the their housekeeping are on from 6am-12am. I honestly have to say it is one of the cleanest hotels I've been to. They even have an iron and ironing board on each floor. The restaurant offers lots of different foods. Honestly if you can't find something to eat, there is something wrong with you. Pool bar offers hotdogs, burgers, chips and toasties plus beer and coffee from 10am -3pm. Lobby bar has snacks and offers drinks from 10am-10pm. With some fantastic cocktails also on offer. They do close prompt on 10pm. If you still feel the need for a drink the disco bar is open till midnight. A short walk to an immaculate clean beach. A few jellyfish about though. Old nessebar is just a short flat walk away. Definitely worth a visit. Full of loads of historical buildings. Some cute little coffee shops and shops. We had a late flight back but could still use all the facilities until we left. All in all a fantastic stay, staff very warm and always available to help. Definitely give it go as we'd go back..

Just back from two weeks at this hotel had a great holiday weather a bit hit and miss first week rest brilliant the highlights were the 2 animation team so full of energy and did there best to keep all the guests happy can't thank them enough the hotel staff were always helpful recommend the location for access to sunny beach without the noise
