"La camera è spaziosa e luminosa, il tatami è molto comodo per dormire, il giardino giapponese fuori dalla finestra è tranquillo e bellissimo, la calligrafia ”Foglie di pino, colori antichi e moderni” nella stanza mette in risalto l'arte della decorazione, sembra che la calligrafia cinese sia ancora profondamente radicata nella cultura tradizionale giapponese! Anche la colazione è molto buona, con porzioni abbondanti."

"到中標津機場後，有機場巴士送至汽車站，坐到羅臼町汽車約1.5小時從“禮文路口”站下，沿路向前走5分鐘即是該酒店，緊靠馬路邊和大海。定的含早晚餐，晚餐特別棒，早餐簡單。出酒店左轉是本地人氣最旺的海鮮市場，有餐廳有特色購物，再走遠點有個挺大的超市，總之地方不大，但吃喝挺方便。出海觀鯨碼頭也很近。是避暑的好地方。但房間要常開除濕模式，設施很一般，房間大小還可以。老闆很熱心，返回時讓老闆幫預訂的出租車。重要的事兒再強調一下晚餐特別值得，西餐、和式每天都不重樣兒。是休閑避暑的好地方。"

"Tutto bene tranne la cena ordinata... è una trappola se non siamo abbastanza calmi da vedere la pentola calda... abbiamo ordinato il costoso manzo ma è arrivato pesce! Non vedevamo l'ora di quella cena speciale che era stata prenotata in anticipo quella mattina presto. Quando abbiamo chiesto perché non era manzo? Le loro spiegazioni erano perché il tipo di manzo era stato sostituito con pesce... Il punto è perché non ce l'hanno detto mentre eravamo seduti? Abbiamo pagato il prezzo più alto per il menu ma abbiamo preso il pesce comune, se non ci fossimo fatti sentire... la storia sarebbe finita. Dopo le lamentele, ci hanno rimborsato ¥2000 per quel pasto costoso da ¥9000. È un pasto scadente, ingredienti non freschi con un metodo di cottura scadente, non vale la pena alla descrizione a un prezzo così alto!"

"Fantastic Onsen hotel..located on the hill top, all rooms assigned overlooking into the OKHOTSK SEA, with huge room and shower room are separated from the WC. The hotel provide a shuttle bus from UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL and will pick up guests from here. Another good point is,there is a Airport Bus Liner which comes direct to the hotel to pick guestyfor drop off at Shiretoko Shari Bus terminal enroute to Mambabetsu Airport. The breakfast is really yummy with lots of spread however the buffet dinner is average and the same spread for the two nites I stayed. Where else the ONSEN, I would give a 4/5. Another good point to note is those coming by train to Shiretoko Shari station, opposite is the Shari Bus terminal which provides transer to the UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL.in about 50 mins. Overall Shireto Daiichi Hotel is a big luxurious hotel and they provide shuttle for onwards bus transfer to the SHIRETOKO NATURE PARK which is so beautiful to wander out to seek nature's awesomeness."

"酒店在半山上，很安靜很大的一個酒店，晚上可以看海上落日，離巴士站1公里多，大概需要20分鐘步行，吃飯就不是很方便了，可以選擇購買酒店餐飲或者去山下，酒店有個特產店。酒店房間很大，鋪的是很厚的地毯踩起來很舒服，然後還有一個很大的温泉池，開放時間也很長，下午3點到第二天9點，如果人多不好意思去，可以等半夜去，哈哈，酒店的浴衣也挺好看的，一件天藍色的，外面還有件短褂。然後酒店門口就有一個去女滿別機場的大巴上車點，很方便。"

Le strutture dell'hotel sono anche abbastanza perfette, e'un buon posto per rilassarsi.Inoltre, il cibo del ristorante è sorprendente, soprattutto il buffet di colazione, la scelta è ricca e il gusto è di prima classe. In termini di posizione, l'hotel è vicino ai principali punti di attrazione, e è conveniente visitare la zona culturale e commerciale circostante.In generale, questa casa mi ha lasciato un'impressione profonda e mi aspetto di tornare la prossima volta!"

"We love the ambience and everything about the hotel! Furnishing are very carefully and intentionally designed, really appreciated the overall cozyness we felt during our stay. Sadly we had to give the bathhouse a miss due to our schedule, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The only confusion we had was the check in/check out timing — the hotel page says check out is 11am, but we got a phone call at 10am telling us we’ve exceeded the check out timing. Page also mentions check in by 6pm, but we were only able to arrive at 9pm+ due to our flight and car rental processes, hence we checked in multiple times with the hotel. They were kind enough to assure us to drive safely as we can check in any time."

"Loved it. Really comfy lounge area with floor to ceiling windows ocean view which invites you to sit down and relax. Kitchen next to it was open clean and functional. Room was basic with toilet and vanity area but again faced the ocean with floor to ceiling windows which made it special. Again onsen had the same views with sauna and cold bath. For those with no cara bit of a walk into town. Highly recommend."

"Our third consecutive stay in Japan’s onsen scene brought us to Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort. Though labelled as a 3-star hotel, this resort is the very definition of an underrated masterpiece. From the moment we arrived, it became clear this experience would rival any five-star destination we’ve ever visited. Our room was a slice of paradise—spacious, serene, and offering a panoramic view of the breathtaking sea. Perfect for a moment of calm after a day of exploring. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the window, with its infinite horizon stretching beyond the blue waters. The bath experience was equally indulgent, with Dyson and Refa hairdryers in the public bath area. The soap and shampoo provided in the public baths? Luxurious, premium products that they also retail on-site. A small but significant touch that elevates this from your average onsen. Where do I even begin with the buffet? It was nothing short of culinary theatre. Imagine live cooking stations serving up dishes with the flair of a fine dining restaurant. From sashimi so fresh, it redefined how I think about lean tuna—the texture was almost reminiscent of beef!—to the incredibly generous portions of salmon roe. Each dish was top-tier, but the dessert station truly took my breath away. A unique pumpkin and sweet potato creation was the surprise highlight, and I couldn’t help but indulge in multiple helpings of the organic apple, crisp and fresh like it was picked that very morning. For fitness enthusiasts, there’s even a decent gym—a rarity for many onsen hotels. Meanwhile, the 24-hour lounge provides a range of delectable snacks, all of which are sold in their store. And though the prices may seem steep, the taste makes them worth every yen. The free daily scoop of Peter Beier ice cream was simply divine. Made with Hokkaido milk, the vanilla was already a showstopper, but the pistachio took the experience to another level. After this, it was impossible not to purchase their chocolate truffles—pricey, but easily worth the splurge. The experience extends outside the hotel, where an outdoor foot bath awaits with a view that will make you feel like you’ve entered another world. As long as the weather cooperates, this is an experience not to be missed. In short, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort might officially be a 3-star, but in our hearts, it’s a five-star experience through and through. A perfect blend of luxury, nature, and comfort, it’s an onsen resort that deserves to be on every discerning traveller’s radar."
