Hotel in zona Kauno rajono muziejus, Raudondvario Seniunija

L'Hotel Daugirdas si trova vicino al fiume nella vecchia città di Kaunas. Si compone di due edifici congiunti, un vecchio e un nuovo allegato. La nostra stanza era al terzo piano della parte più vecchia dell'edificio e un po' datata. Era abbastanza grande con un letto doppio, un divano e un tavolo, tutti chiaramente un paio di anni, ma puliti e ben tenuti. Il nostro bagno era grande, anche, e aveva un piccolo balcone davanti alla strada. Un bar-restaurante sul posto offre bevande e cena - di solito il ristorante sembra essere situato nel primo piano, ma quando siamo stati a giugno, il pranzo è stato servito solo sulla terrazza esterna nel quarto piano. Purtroppo il servizio sembrava essere molto stressato (probabilmente erano sottoscritti considerando il numero di tavoli e ospiti) che tradotto in un atteggiamento sveglio e sventurato nei confronti di noi come ospiti. Il cibo era ok - il principiante, il tonno tataki, era davvero bello, ma entrambe le main (una salada e un hamburger) non erano niente di speciale e piuttosto inspionato. La colazione è servita in cantina, stile buffet, e piuttosto semplice. Rispetto ad altri hotel, la varietà e la qualità dei cibi erano relativamente inferiori. La stanza con il suo tetto a terra era impressionante, il lato inverso della struttura e dei semplici mobili era che era molto alto solo da persone che avevano normali “conversazioni di colazione”. In generale non male, ma probabilmente non un hotel per ricordare e tornare a casa.

First, the good things about this hotel: one- a fantastic location, very close to the Old Town and within walking distance from the modern part of the city, parks, river, and most of the tourist attractions. Two: you can rent, free of charge, an electric scooter and have a ride on many cycling lanes and visit Kaunas that way. The restaurant had good ambiance, nice staff and served a decent dinner. Unfortunately, there is more bad things about the hotel. There is no human staff presence. There is no reception, everything is done by phone, you get a code, which opens the doors and for anything else, you have to ring a number. This might have worked but the phone in our room was broken, and we ended up having to ring from the UK mobile at international call rate. We were offered a different room, but we weren’t happy about its comfort. When you eventually manage to get through to someone, they will be helpful and react quite quickly, but it is an extra hassle. The cleaning is ordered by pressing a button on a device on the wall, otherwise no one will come to do it. You also check out by pressing a button on the same device. All this is not very clear, the device is behind the door. It would be better if there was a kind of an information pack in the room to explain this. The room itself was on the fourth floor with no lift. Fine for fit people, especially if you have to carry your suitcase upstairs, but not so much if you have a mobility problem. As the room was in the attic, it had a sloping ceiling so if you are a tall person, you might have a problem moving about. Curtains were a shambles, impossible to draw across the whole (arched) window. Wardrobe tiny, not to hold clothes for two people, even for a short stay. Television did not work properly. No city map which normally would be offered by the reception. No hooks or shelves in the bathroom so nowhere to put your things. For a water bottle, which normally is complimentary in 4* hotels, you will be charged 4 EUR. Breakfast was quite varied and good for continental guests. If you are used to having your cereal, you might have to ask the staff to especially give it to you. Whatever is lacking, the restaurant staff will do their best to provide it for you. However, this is not a standard you expect from a four-star hotel. So, all told, it was not a bad stay but lacked 4-star class.

L'edificio è a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di Kaunas. La stanza è abbastanza piccola, più di quanto sembrava nelle foto. Non c'è spazio sufficiente per muoversi o aprire la valigia. Si noti che non c'erano piatti nel bagno, quindi non si poteva piatti il secchetto. Gli unici involucri della stanza erano dietro il letto (non utili perché non c'era spazio per poterlo spostare) o alla fine in un spazio abbastanza inaccessibile. La pulizia della stanza potrebbe anche migliorare.

Questo hotel è prototipico Ibis. Non c'è niente di strano, media 3 stelle, ma perché include un buffet di colazione solido, devi darle 4 stelle. Ciò che non capisco è perché l'unico caricatore telefonico nella stanza è a 10 piedi dal letto. Questo è frustrante e molto povero design. Il termostat era difficile da capire, non ha messo fuori aria fredda. L'hotel è direttamente vicino al terminale degli autobus. La stazione ferroviaria è un'ottima passeggiata a 8 minuti. Esci dalle porte principali della stazione e prendi la strada direttamente davanti a te. Ibis è a 500 metri sul lato destro, direttamente attraverso la strada dal Magnus. All'immediato vicino all'hotel è un piccolo centro commerciale, che ha un eccellente supermercato, chiamato Rimi. Anche in quel centro commerciale c'è una farmacia. Quindi niente di straordinario, ma un hotel decente.

Rimasto in gemella standard proprio come iniziava l'onda di calore. Letti facilmente spostabili insieme per un falso doppio se necessario. Quando si arriva a un accordo qui per molto più economico di Ibis lungo la strada, vale la pena prendere, ma se la differenza è solo marginale, andare a prendere Ibis giusto invece - si ottiene una stanza migliore e un buon colazione li' che nel Magnus. Le camere del Magnus hanno visto una certa rigenerazione, ma sono ancora di tipo stuffy e “sovietico ottanta” e hanno anche piastrelle da bagno che rompono e tappeti da bagno che pelletano a causa di umidità eccessivamente ovunque. Il condizionamento dell'aria è una macchina eolica piena o fuori uso. Le coperte di letto sono un po' troppo spesso per un estate caldo, soprattutto quando combinate con protettrici plastiche sotto la foglia di mattoni! Insomma, sono venuto a casa o albergo di guardia, o entrambi? Non aspettare questo livello di gratitudine in un joint 3 stelle. Inoltre, fa sudare insofferente tutta la notte. La vista dal tetto era bella e tutti gli spazi pubblici erano molto piacevoli. La persona alla reception era amichevole e professionale. tl:dr Renovation non poteva coprire tutti i problemi di un vecchio edificio come questo. Buona vista dal tetto. Bella personale. Così colazione. L'hotel dovrebbe perdere le foglie di plastica.Vale la pena se si ottiene una stanza per 40 euro o meno.

Infatti, questo è un hotel autonomo, dopo la prenotazione e il pagamento, è necessario inviare una copia del passaporto per e-mail/wotzapp e riceverete il codice telefonico, istruzioni per entrare. Poi devi chiamare un numero dal telefono e la cosa più importante è capire come si apre perché solo un click può essere sentito. La mia porta è aperta all'interno dopo la terza tentativa. In camera tutto è pulito, buono. Molto soddisfatto di un caffè normale martello per le persone. L'unico svantaggio è un tappo rotto, doccia superiore scura e un sacco di polvere sul fan. La terrazza è molto bella, ma nel resto è un solido quattro!

Forse questo hotel era un hotel di 4 stelle con il proprietario precedente. Penso che il numero di stelle dovrebbe essere riconsiderato. Ci siamo trasferiti in una suite. La camera che è da sola è Nice. E 'in 2 livelli con la zona di dormire in cima. Ma il manufatto e lo stile sono antichi e economici.La stanza era pulita. Sentite, che troverete: Nessun colazione Nessun ristorante Nessun sauna Nessun spa Nessuno sportello moderno È un po' diverso sulla homepage ...... ma durante il soggiorno era ” fuori ordine” ....! Cozy hotel in the center of Kaunas, just a walking distance to the Akropolis shopping mall. Fabulous that hotel is accepting guests with pets, very convenient indeed. And it's was nice surprise that hotel has the charging station for electric vehicles for free of charge, very useful! The breakfast was superb with a lot of varieties to meet each taste. Very delicious pastries and great choice of warm dishes for the start of the day!

The hotel is very nice. It's nothing special, but it's a very good place to stay. The bed is very comfortable, the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with special requests. One the best things about it is its location: just outside of the old town on Laisves, a pedestrian street. There are plenty of restaurants around, coffee houses, and even a small grocery store. So if you want to stay in Kaunas, this is the place I can recommend highly. I have only one small complaint: the breakfast isn't all that good. There's plenty to eat, so that is not the problem. But what there was just didn't seem to be particularly good quality. I have stayed in three other hotels while I've been in Lithuania, plus one in Latvia. The breakfast in each place was fantastic. I can't say that about this one, but that's no reason not to stay here. As I said, you will have enough to eat and you'll probably be satisfied. So stay here. It's well worth it .
