Hotel in zona Kapelle Maria zum Schnee Bettmeralp, Raron

Un ottimo hotel a prezzi economici ben situati a Brig. Ottimo personale. Vicino ai ristoranti, alle attrazioni e al trasporto. Il colazione incluso era fantastico e il personale era molto utile. Ci sono anche supermercati molto vicini che offrono cibi e servizi a microonde, così come vino e birra. Per coloro che non parlano francese o tedesco, ci sono diversi canali BBC. Un passo facile alla stazione. Ci piaceva visitare qui.

last min stay at this self check in hotel was great, we missed our last train back to lauterbrunnen and this was near the train station. simple and comfy. had everything necessary even including a hearty breakfast. easy to contact the front desk even after weee hours for assistance. food hot shower bed and room was spacious and great.

Piccola stanza molto accogliente ed elegante nuova ma soprattutto di una sopra qualsiasi altro luogo visitato fino ad oggi. La stanza è fornita di una grande macchina da caffè con cialde della nespresso e cialde per il tè con una bottiglia di acqua. La struttura È praticamente nuova. La colazione come la cena si trovano a 20 m in un altro stabile dove vige una pasticceria molto attrezzata. CONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE!!!

Sono rimasto a La Reserve per due notti durante la mia marcia da Chamonix a Zermatt (Walkers Haute Route). Dopo più di una settimana di cammino e campeggio con la mia tenda, questo hotel ha fornito cibo, riposo e comfort, prima di partire per la promenade finale a Zermatt. L'hotel è direttamente sulla strada di cammino, appena fuori dal centro del villaggio. Il proprietario mi ha aiutato molto quando volevo riordinare il mio soggiorno. Ho prenotato per una notte, ma andava più veloce di quanto mi aspettavo, quindi sono arrivato un giorno prima. Dopo una telefonata, il proprietario mi ha prenotato un'altra stanza dove potevo stare per una notte extra. Quando due giorni dopo, ho chiesto un colazione molto presto (voglio camminare il prima possibile) e il proprietario si è assicurato che tutto fosse per me alle 6:30. Il cibo del ristorante era delizioso. Mi compiaceva molto della possibilità di avere una pizza più piccola con una salata molto più grande, come ho desiderato verdure fresche. Il palazzo e la stanza potrebbero essere un po' vecchio in stile, ma tutto era molto pulito e confortevole. E c'era una doccia privata molto buona! Tutto questo era un soggiorno molto piacevole mentre camminava per i miei 10 giorni di cammino in Svizzera.

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at Hotel Waldhaus during a two week hiking trip around Switzerland and we loved our experience! First, the property is lovely, well-styled, and well maintained. We were in a balcony room with an amazing view of the mountains. Our room was ready early (which was great after our hike from Grindelwald), it was nicely appointed, and very clean. We were on the 2nd floor which had a huge shared balcony with absolutely stunning views. Second, every single staff member we encountered was incredibly nice, kind, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making our stay special. I wish I had written down all their names so I could mention them individually (for some reason I thought I’d remember even though we stayed at 8 different places on this trip). You can tell this is a good work environment because of the staff’s outstandingly pleasant attitude. One person we interacted regularly with was Lorenzo, who took extraordinarily good care of us. Third, the FOOD! Both nights we took the fixed dinner menu and both nights were fantastic. I would consider the meals “special occasion” meals, that’s how good it the food was. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, great wine selection. During the meal Lorenzo and Joshua (a member of the family that owns/runs the restaurant) stopped by to chat with us about our day, our stay, answer any questions, and make sure everything was as expected with our experience. And it wasn’t “forced” attention - - it was comfortable and natural, and they both were genuinely interested in talking with us and ensuring that our entire experience was outstanding! I’m smiling just writing this review because it’s bringing back good memories! Thank you Waldhaus team for a wonderful stay!

Prenoto tramite booking per il prezzo competitivo. Veniamo accolti da Emilia che con professionalità e gentilezza renderà il nostro breve soggiorno estremamente piacevole. La camera è grande con un arredo un po' datato ma molto pulita. La cucina ha tutto il necessario per essere indipendenti,inoltre in stanza ci attendeva una graditissima bottiglia di vino gentilmente offerta dalla proprietà. Abbiamo cenato in hotel, il ristorante è molto accogliente, in stile alpino,. Lo chef italiano ci ha saputo coccolare con una deliziosa fonduta. Il giorno dopo a causa di una forte nevicata avevamo delle preoccupazioni sul viaggio di ritorno. Emilia e il suo staff é riuscita a raccogliere delle preziose informazioni circa la pulizia delle strade e la viabilità, cosa che invece all ufficio del turismo non erano riusciti a fare. In bocca al lupo per la stagione e grazie!

The property is well located within the beautiful village of Leukerbad. Great pool and surroundings, perfect for hiking and relaxing, close to the thermal baths and to all facilities & restaurants in the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and while the bathroom was VERY small, it had all the necessary facilities and was clean. If you’re in Leukerbad to enjoy hiking, bathing, tanning, or simply hanging by the pool, it’s a perfect hotel. If you’re looking for a place with charming and forthcoming 4-star service, then you can forget this place without a second thought. My daughter has Crohn’s disease and cannot eat solid food. We had reserved a family room for 4 including breakfast. Upon arrival we asked if we could remove one BF from the bill, as my daughter wouldn’t have any: That wasn’t possible. We asked if we could benefit from any alternative offer (even a drinks voucher for the bar would have been nice). We were told “No, can’t do anything, my hands are tied!” – by whom I wonder? You have to book the restaurant for the evening. Having had a tiring drive with 2 young kids, we pre-booked the table and ordered the food for 7pm, we arrived at 7pm, the place was nearly empty, the food arrived at 8pm… my kids were already waning. The food was mediocre at best (even in Switzerland I’m not used to pay 130 Fr. for tiny portions of deep-frozen food). At 9pm we asked for the bill, and were told “You have to wait”. So we decided to leave and put our kids to bed instead. Even with the tired kids in tow, the waiter shouted after us “can’t you just wait 10 minutes?”… by now the place was totally empty… why? Spending some time at the pool with wet hair, my daughter asked if she could have more conditioner. We were told “No, only 1 per person per stay”… of those tiny tiny bottles… why? At least as we checked-out, the annoyed front office employee didn’t ask us if we enjoyed our stay (smart move there). And as we left the hotel for the last time before driving back home, an employee we had never seen before left us with these beautiful last words: “THAT’S THE DOOR!” (I’m not kidding)… Now, I understand the hospitality sector is in crisis because of a lack of schooled personal, but the lack of charm of the hotel staff (apart from a young lady at breakfast and a friendly young man in the restaurant) was almost comical.
