Unfortunately due to the poor decor, cleaning and maintenance this review will not be favourable. The staff were brilliant, the location is nice, very rural. But that is pretty much it. There is too much litter all over the car park area. Maybe have rubbish bins installed in the car park, or have a daily litter pick. The sat nav took us the wrong way, there needs to be far more signs showing the way to the hotel. The building on the outside looks different. But whoever decided to paint the corridors and rooms black needs their head tested! It is very dark when you step out of the lift to go to your room. Once inside the room, the toilet/bathroom areas again very dark, need a headteacher! No need for that. In our room, I booked 3 rooms, the tv was a cheap nasty thing. The remote control had ducktape holding the battery's in place. There one way glass, between the toilet and bathroom was all scratched. When I pay for a nice hotel I want a nice experience. This hotel unfortunately needs a new paint job and the maintenance to be carried out as soon as it's needed. The restaurant area has 2 massive TV's, very Portuguese thing. On mute but I would rather not have them there in the first place. Also, if you are seating next to the main wall, in the restaurant areaz you can hear the water running down the pipes as you enjoy your food! Just don't think about what is running down next to you! And pray there isn't a burst sewage pipe while you are next to the wall! The food, was ok, nothing special. Which is a shame. On the upside, wine was good. Shame they don't sell they wine at the hotel. They have it on show by reception, but to buy it was a very long drive to their vineyard.

Very nice spa hotel in the middle of nowhere. When you think "I am lost" you are probably very close. Very helpful crew. I arrived when the kitchen was about to close (20:00) and they asked me if I wanted to eat and arranged for the kitchen to stay open for me. Spa use is free on reservation. Breakfast is included for this quite unreal low price. Dinner is good quality and the average main course costs 15-20 Euro, a bottle of wine 10-15 Euro. All in all: great service, good beds, nice rooms, good food and very affordable.

Very nice modern hotel in the middle of the Rewilding Coa Valley. A Coa Valley partner of the Cro Hotel is Fernando Romao of wildlifeportugal.pt＞ . We had a great day with Fernando, who knows almost everything about nature in the Coa Valley. He is one of the best and nicest nature guides we have ever been with. Food of the hotel is good with plenty of choice. The swimming pool may sometimes be crowded with young people. Overall, an excellent experience.

O hotel é sofisticado, muito acolhedor e tranquilo, ideal para dias de inverno e frios (que foi a nossa experiência). O quarto era ótimo e extremamente confortável. Como parte da nossa reserva, fomos recebidos com fruta e champanhe no quarto, além de uma maravilhosa massagem a dois no spa. A piscina é incrível, mas foi um pouco difícil encontrar espreguiçadeiras devido ao número de pessoas. Quanto ao jantar, foi simplesmente espetacular, tanto pela qualidade da comida quanto pelo atendimento impecável dos funcionários. O hotel também possui um bar e espaços confortáveis com sofás para descansar e socializar fora do quarto. O pequeno-almoço foi excelente, com muita variedade e tudo delicioso. Uma experiência que valeu muito a pena!

Se quer estar isolado do mundo é um óptimo sítio para estar, no entanto abasteça-se se quiser passar alguns dias. Pessoal do restaurante e das termas simpático, no entanto o serviço de recepção deixa a desejar...pois poderiam aconselhar coisas a fazer ali à volta, dado que, no hotel a única coisa a usufruir é uma hora na piscina. Nao faço intenções de voltar.

Voltei ao Cró pq tinha boas memórias aquando da minha primeira estadia,pouco depois da sua inauguração.Não tive tempo de revisitar a piscina termal.Achei o nível de temperatura da sala de PA mt baixo, mesmo desconfortável,um aspecto a ter em conta

Atención pésima. El check in es a las 16:00h, llegue antes con mi hija pequeña, Domingo, 35celsius, y no me ofrecieron poder acceder un poco antes a habitación, teniendo que volver a conducir 30 min hasta pueblo mas cercano para esperar varias horas hasta entrar. Ninguna empatía. No lo recomiendo ni repetiré.

Estivemos 3 noites. O edifício parece um búnquer, por dentro os corredores e tetos são todos pretos e mal iluminados. Nos quartos os cortinados não funcionam e quando reclamámos disseram-nos que estão todos assim. os quartos não têm varanda a única excepção são as suites. Quando chegámos havia toalhas sujas no pequeno armário da casa de banho o que causa logo má impressão. Entrar e sair da zona do duche, para pessoas mais velhas ou incapacitadas é um verdadeiro desafio. No hotel não existe nenhum espaço exterior onde se possa estar a disfrutar da natureza, beber um sumo etc.. não tem piscina exterior e a interior pertence ao SPA que facilita a sua utilização 1 hora por dia. A partir daí custa 5 € à hora. Não tem uma sala de estar, com TV e sofás para que grupos, ou até casais, possam estar e conviver. Se se optar por jantar, logo a seguir tem de se ir para o quarto... O pequeno almoço é bom, com bastantes opções e a comida é boa e bem servida, com uma boa relação preço/qualidade. O que salvou a estadia foi a cortesia e simpatia dos empregados tanto da recepção, como dos quartos, como da área da restauração. Fica também o reparo que já vai dando mostras de precisar de alguma manutenção.
