Blu Monkey Hub & Hotel Ranong

Cool and stylish hotel, friendly helpful staff, and great value that the room rate included breakfast, free bananas, cookies and water refills. We did unfortunately have an issue with our AC that night which couldn't be fixed (it kept switching itself off), so we didn't have the best night's sleep. Would be good if the hotel can do some maintenance or ideally replace these outdated ACs. Also the insulation is not great, so you can hear sounds from the neighboring rooms (best to bring earplugs).

Blu Monkey Hub & Hotel Ranong is located not far from Ranong Walking Street. It’s a brand-new hotel! The rooms are a bit compact but very well-designed with two floors. The ground floor accommodates 2 people with a regular bed, while the upper level has a Japanese-style futon for 1 person. There is 1 bathroom, and the AC is ice-cold. For parking, they offer two lots: one right in front of the hotel for about 10 cars, and another one 100 meters away that fits around 15 cars.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very convenient to get around and explore the area. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. One downside is that the soundproofing in the room could be improved, as noise can be heard at times. On a positive note, the hotel offers complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and bananas at the lobby, which is a nice touch. Overall, it’s a good stay and I would consider coming back again.

Clean, modern rooms with very comfortable beds and friendly staff. The hotel has nice touches like free snacks, coffee, and even bananas available in the lobby.

The room was okay. Comfortable bed. There’s no elevator and our room was on the 4th floor 😆 so we had some exercise.

Great Location. We felt fresh with Banana shower cream and shompoo. The hotel offered free banana to try.

The only downside is the lack of a helper for older people to carry their luggage, and the pathway is very narrow, making it feel like a tight space.
