Baie Mooar House, Boutique B&B

Well where do i start, We spent a week in the Baie Mooar and really loved it, Breakfast was superb with a large selection and Jennie couldnt do enough to make sure we had everything what we wanted, the room was large, so comfortable and very clean, we opted for the mountain veiw which was fascinating to watch, the veiw changes every 10 minutes, so marks out of 10 we both gave it 10/10 thank you Jennie for making us so welcome!

We have just spent a fantastic 11 days at Baie Moore and have booked two more 14 days stays for next year, as it's such a perfect place to stay. I have stayed in many five-star hotels all over UK and Europe but have never been so comfortable and well-fed before. The accommodation is palatial, a massive bedroom, (with a king-size bed, high quality bedding and perfect pillows) beautifully equipped and decorated, with an unbelievable view from its bay window overlooking a lake and the sea...plus a similarly stylish big bathroom with quality toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels. Breakfast is worth getting up for - fresh fruit or fruit compote, natural yogurt, cereals or porridge; then an excellent menu with something for everyone. The Full Manx Breakfast was generous and superbly cooked by Simon, who is a top-class chef. My own favourite was poached eggs on toast - amazing eggs from a local farmer, bright orange in colour, and very tasty. The building is a magnificent example of Victoriana, expertly refurbished and stylishly furnished. Jen and Simon are brilliant hosts and have made a masterpiece of this very individual haven. Our room is booked for all our future visits and anyone who stays here will feel the same. Thank you, Jen and Simon, for the warm welcome and fantastic service. Can't wait to return again, and again....

Well kept accommodation - 4 star and a cut above the other accomodation we used via a walking company. Well presented, smart rooms with a number of nice touches. The couple running it were very friendly / chatty at breakfast so I am bemused by some of the earlier comments. Maybe they are right but that wasn't our experience. Great breakfast. Wish we'd been booked in here for another night frankly!

Very friendly and helpful host, comfortable room and lovely beds, excellent quality food for breakfast (B&B food can often be so disappointing so this was very welcome) and a great view of the lake and sea from our bedroom window. Wifi a bit dodgy from up on the 4th floor, but would definitely recommend the house to prospective customers.

We had an amazing stay at Brae Mooar Inn. The host Jenny was truly outstanding – incredibly welcoming, friendly, and full of helpful local advice. Nothing was too much trouble, and her hospitality really made our trip special. The room was large, very comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with great variety and quality. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area

It is such a shame that I had a visitor over for our wedding and the owner, Jenny, treated her with such unprofessionalism. I will not be recommending this accommodation. Left out in the rain, embarrassed infront of other customers and a poor experience at the owners restaurant. A lesson in customer service is needed.
