Myn in Rabat

A lovely hotel with friendly host. The room is clean and pretty large. And it is very close to Rabat 2 bus station and Mdina Old City Fortress. So you can easily spend your time to local tourist sites and find good restaurants.

Little dirty compared to my last stay here.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. • Housekeeping: On the first day, our room was never cleaned. When we complained, the staff made excuses, saying the housekeeper had knocked but we didn’t answer — which was not true. After a lot of back-and-forth, the room was finally cleaned, but only after insisting. • Amenities: The hotel does not provide breakfast, only small amenities like instant coffee and powdered milk. These were not replenished as promised. On one morning we had no coffee, no amenities, nothing, despite being told it would be delivered. • Owner’s behavior: The worst part of our stay was the person who seemed to be the owner. He confronted us in a very hostile and aggressive way, raising his voice, throwing a pen on the table, and demanding paperwork and a €4 tax. Instead of resolving issues, he made us feel threatened and unwelcome. • To make matters worse, he argued with the housekeeper in front of us, in another language, which made us feel even more uncomfortable, as if they were talking negatively about us. This aggressive encounter completely ruined our day, caused unnecessary stress, and overshadowed our time in Malta. We were never rude, but we were treated with disrespect and hostility. In short: poor service, no proper housekeeping, missing amenities, and an extremely unprofessional attitude from management. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing or enjoyable stay.

This accommodation is amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. It ticks all the boxes. Private, quiet, modern, clean, great value for money and lovely staff. Tano was especially friendly and helpful. Hopefully we ll get the opportunity to return.

In a very quiet cul de sac but less than five minutes walk to a wide variety of restaurants, Domus Romana and the citadel. Street parking was OK but often a shortage of spaces. Small (free) car park about 50m away, also rather busy. Key code for access as reception not always manned. Room OK but not huge, with separate wet-room shower & basin/toilet. Well equipped with good wifi, fridge. TV, tea/coffee making facilities. Recommended.

Rabat, an authentic place with very friendly Maltese people, who we chatted with, and saw in a wedding. A lot of restaurants in Rabat with delicious food and hotel "Myn" is a central place to visit the island. We did this holiday by car for a week in April 2022, but you can also explore the island by bus. We combined this trip with one day GOZO and had there the St. George festival in Victoria, a welcome surprise. The water was 15 degrees but the temperatur outside was 20 and very sunny almost whole week in April. "Myn" is a very nice hotel, we (a couple) had a dubble room in Myn, which was clean, had a good bed, and was just in the centre of Rabat and with walking distance of Mdina. Great place to be. Petra
