Millhouse Inn

Very close to town square were the chop house restaurant is licated. Delish dinner. Host was very friendly and gave us a great tour of the house

I booked 2 nights at the Millhouse Inn for my son’s graduation because there was nowhere to stay in Tallahassee. Having stayed at dozens of historic inns and bnbs over the years, I thought this would be similar. The photos look charming and the upstairs (original portion of the house) is lovely. We stayed in a downstairs room that was damp, musty, smelled like termites and mold. I could barely breathe much less sleep. Upstairs had central ac, but downstairs had an old wall unit that did not extract any dampness from the air and there were no windows to open. We were charged over $800 for our stay in a place that was barely inhabitable. I understand supply and demand and that places need to charge as much as possible during popular events, but also think people should be made aware of the condition of a place before they book and the only way to do that is through a review like this one. I would have gladly spent much more per night to stay somewhere decent for this occasion. Buyers beware…

Stayed here with girlfriends over the weekend. The host is lovely and so helpful and attentive to whatever you need. The breakfast we had was delicious and served in a beautiful room. Bec, the host shares neat info about the house and the area and things to do. The house has a lovely garden where you can enjoy snacks and beverages. It's easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops, or events like Porchfest. Highly recommend it as a place to stay if you're in the area.

We stayed at the Millhouse Inn twice on our way to and from Louisiana. The innkeeper, Bec, gave us a warm welcome each time and our rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast each day was beautifully presented and delicious. Quincy is lovely and we enjoyed dinner at both Big Papa's Chophouse (best pork chop we've ever had!) and the Laredo Grill. We shall return!!

Our host, Bek, was wonderful. She gave us a very interesting history of the home and Quincy. She prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning to complete our relaxing stay at the Millhouse Inn.
