Tappeti a filo. Carpette in camera nostra molto sottile e ruggete in aree. Bagno molto datato - intorno a legno tra bagno e pareti. Porta bagno chiusa e bagno ruscato/chiusa e bagno.

Staff were friendly and accommodating as we arrived to Queenstown late due to plane landing delays that evening. We booked the twin bunk room and surprised at how big the ensuite toilet was - it could have been another room! Standard hotel amenities but we're especially delighted by the hot beverage vending machines as it provided us with a convenient pick-me up coffee whenever we needed it (travelling takes a toll on your body, for sure!). Social and dining spaces were plenty and the view at the rooftop that overlooked Queenstown was beautiful. Overall, a good stay but wished the app was less buggy and doesn't log guests out when we're offsite too long.

The location was the best part for us. It was very central in Queenstown and surrounded with many good restaurants, bars and shops. If you are planning on skiing or doing an excursion there are many pick up spots and tour operators near the hostel as well.
The room was a good spot to sleep. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and they provided a nice small space heater to keep the room warm if needed. We didn't have any body wash on our first night in the shower, we reported to the front desk and they gave us a couple of bars and we were told that they would replace in the morning but when we came back it was unfortunately not replaced but we did get another small bar of soap. The remote in the room was disgusting and covered in what I imagine was at one point part of some good fried chicken or possibly pizza but everything else seemed to be fine.
Check in was a little tricky because there is self check in/check out tablets at the entrance. We couldn't figure out the right combination of booking reference number and name because we had received Jucy's confirmation code in a separate email. The attendant did offer to help us out but we got the right combo at that very moment. You can pick your cards to activate them and we had no issues with this part but later that evening my card deactivated and I went to the front desk a second time to get it working on our first night. The hotel has some very good signage and arrows to tell you where your rooms are and the amenities (rooftop bar/restaurant, laundry room and kitchen area).
The hotel seems to be more of a party hotel and when we arrived there was lots of drinking and people having a good time. This went well into the night and the noise seemed to travel well down the hallway from the rooms that were hosting. We could also hear our neighbour coming and going throughout the first night but it was relatively quiet between 12-6.
We picked this hostel for the location and to save a little bit of money for excursions. It did get very busy in our area the first night we were there but after that we had no issues with the traffic. It was a 15 minute ride to the airport in the Uber and the bus stops at the nearby Stanley St bus hub and only takes about 25 minutes to go to/from the airport with limited traffic.

Booked a 6 bdrm apartment, in one room we found a pair of disgusting slippers under the bed, a pair of socks left inside the wardrobe, and a bath towel hanging behind the door. Window latches gone off 2 windows and tv in second lounge didn't work. To their credit they did fix one window and taped the other shut - note, sellotape does not keep a window shut for long... There are also no plugs to any of the bathroom sinks - it's pretty disgusting brushing your teeth and looking down the sinkhole at previous guests hair :( We went for the 6 bdrm apartment so we could all be together (& also booked a 2 bdrm for extra family), I certainly paid a premium for this as we could have got a couple of 3 bdrm places for a lot less. I did expect it would be overall cleaner and nicer than what it actually was so was pretty disappointed. The bathroom items provided are basic and no facecloths provided. Only 2 dishwash cleans could be done with what was provided in kitchen. No coffee sachets except decaf, and while there was a hot choc tin, it was almost empty and I’m not using something that many others have stuck their hands in. The dining chairs fabric is disintegrating and bits of the white material end up all over the floor (we would have like to have vacuumed halfway thru our stay because of this but there was no vacuum cleaner or broom). Nowhere on their website (that I found) did it say the apartment was over 3 levels – something my 75 year old mother did struggle with a bit, again this would have been a flag for us. So overall, it was handy being together but the apartment seemed old and tired and really not worth the price we paid. I did email the place to relay all my concerns, they have chosen not to reply to me. I also see on their website they only have reviews that they have sourced from elsewhere (I can't leave this there direct) so they choose the good ones...

The front desk staff is outstanding .Very helpful and friendly . The rooms are lovely .. the in room fireplace is a great touch ! The spa is great - very professional! The food and beverage needs to be improved .Stacks is ok.. but when I went , 1 hour before closing they were more interested in closing than they were in getting my order correct . The bar snacks at the Pinot pit need more variety and healthy less expensive options.

Volevamo stare vicino all'aeroporto, a breve distanza dalla città, con facile accesso all'autostrada verso Te Anau/Milford Sound.

I stayed at the La Quinta Wyndham for 2 weeks in March of 2023. I didn't rent a car. The friendly staff went out of their way to teach me how to be able to travel around Queenstown New Zealand via the public transportation system. House keeping was excellent. They even put my dirty dishes in the dishwasher at times for me.

UUtente ospiteThe decor reminded me of an Austin Powers movie - it was quirky and colorful. Our two rooms were quiet. The room amenities - coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sparkling water, cookies, popcorn were appreciated. It is a short walk to downtown Queenstown. Our travel company booked our rooms along with our tours so I can not speak to price as it was all included in our trip. I would use this hotel again as the beds were comfortable and the rooms large and clean. Just be aware that breakfast is not served until 8 am - we missed it two out of our three days since we had early tours. When we were able to use it on our last day the ham & cheese croissants were great.
UUtente ospiteWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were a family group so we required three rooms. Everything was beautiful, comfortable and cosy. However the highlights were the evening meal(s) we had at the restaurant. We stayed three nights and had such a wonderful time the first night we dined at the hotel that we ended up eating there every night. The menu was comprehensive, our group ordered widely and we all enjoyed each dish. I particularly loved the pumpkin soup, but the steak and pork dishes as well as the hamburgers , were equally popular. Attention was paid to detail, and this was especially the case with the deserts and their superb presentation. The staff were cheerful and generous and made us feel like welcome guests.
JJansenMarkHad to stay an extra night in Queenstown, due to a weather event. Booked Quality Inn, using new TRIP app. Everything went very smoothly from then on. Green Cabs dropped us to door in pouring rain, staff were pleasant, friendly, sorted room, spa and dinner reservations in a jiffy. Monika stands out, with her pleasant smile and blue hair :-) Didn't catch the name of the tall gentleman on the bar, and also waited on our table at dinner. Opened Bar early, so we could enjoy a wee drink before dinner. Had a nice wine selection. Good variety of GF meals and snacks. Even organised Green Cabs again the next morning to get our flight. All in all a great stay, and we will be back.
UUtente ospite Friendly front of house and house keeping staff. Although there are staffing shortages everywhere, the staff here were always available and helpful. Our house keeping team although on a 3 day turn around service, did not get to service our room while we were there, offered towels and extra tea, coffee without hesitation when requested. Thank you so much! The decor is quite out dated and while at first it was off putting, (cream/green interior hallway and furniture, corridor stained carpets, seeing the size of our room and how clean it was made up for it. The bed was a king/possible super king, very comfortable and extra pillows provided. The continental breakfast is more than sufficient. Again the waiting staff I approached where happy to top up, add more (the pastries). Thanks for a wonderful stay!
UUtente ospiteThe décor of the rooms were excellent and the small touches - such as the music that plays when you walk into the room, and the small bar area, the art work, and the welcome book - were really special. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quite, and the size of the room was prefect for two people. There is a sauna available to use by in-house guests, which is excellent after a long hike. Overall, the quality of the room was value for money.
There is also a restaurant, but sadly it was not open the day that we stayed (Monday). We were quite upset about that as we had read very good reviews about the chef and food quality! Whilst the staff were nice at check in, they did not give much information about the premises (i.e. they didn't give us a tour or anything), and we had to ask a lot of questions.
The location is outside of town, but a short drive if you have a car, or a short bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the hotel).
Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here!
CCarlieMSWe stayed here two separete nights. We booked in advance and we were nervous to book the same hostel in case we didn't like it, but fortunately we did and it didn't dissapoint at all. The recepcionist was nice and welcoming to us, everything is clean, it has several kitchens and the common room is like a huge family room with sofa, covers, TV and board games all super cozy which is the perfect enviroment to NOT have a heart attack when you find out that the borders where you are connecting home are all closed and probably you'll have to stay in NZ forever (not a bad thing tho, but I was pretty poor at that point, lol). Anyway, the people is nice, the dorm room has its own bathroom inside which is a massive YES! The lockers are huge plus there are tiny lockers with outlets inside to put your devices (genious). The bunks are hardly bunks because they are pretty solid wood-made so even if your bunkmate moves a lot you won't notice. It has a courtine which is awesome for privacy, its own night light and outlets by your bed. Maybe the only downside is that the parking lot is really (really) tiny, which makes it very difficult to maneuver, specially when you have never driven in the left before, jaja. Other than that, awesome stay, if I ever go back to Queenstown, definetely would stay here again! :)
UUtente ospiteI stayed here two nights on a Riviera Tour of New Zealand. The hotel consists of different linked buildings. However it is very easy to get lost despite them giving you a map. Our rooms overlooked the gardens unfortunately and not the lake. The rooms were ok. A bit tired and in need of refurbishment. However the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. The location of the Hotel is at the top of a very steep hill that leads into Queenstown. The walk up is taxing for older people so be aware. The hotel has the usual facilities of bar, restaurant gym and pool. I can't comment on the gym or pool as we did not have time to use it. The outlook from the hotel is over the lake towards the Remarkable Mountains one of the locations used in Lord of the Rings. It is an absolutely stunning place. Queenstown has lots to do. We took advantage of this. The breakfast was good with hot and cold buffet. Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries as well. A group of us ate in the bar on evening after a tour. Everyone enjoyed their food. Drinks were not to expensive either. The place is a pain to find your way round, so allow time for getting lost when meeting people.
UUtente ospiteGreat location, this facility is suitable for those not fussy about where they stay. I did not enjoy it. I think I was expecting more and didn’t do enough research. I imagined there was the backpackers part and also a motel part of this facility. The room is what it is and it just wasn’t for me. Below is my experience of the facility. The room was dirty and very basic with no breakfast capability in room. No bowls, spoons etc if there were these items in the building somewhere to use, I was not advised of this. The Air con can not be controlled from the bedroom and you need to go down three floors to reception to ask them to set it to the temperature you want. You need to do this every time. The pillows are stained yellow and I was only given one pillowcase for two pillows. I’m not sure what was expected with the other. The shower door opens in front of the faucet making it difficult to switch on without getting wet. There was cobwebs and dust on vents and aircon. The balcony is very small but looks out over the beautiful lake and mountains. The balcony was shared with the neighbouring room. The carpet had something spilt on it which had not been cleaned. It wasn’t stained, it was hard and dried. The beds were comfortable enough and the sheets were crisp and white. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again as I prefer my hotels a lot nicer and more resourced but for a young adult looking for somewhere to sleep for a party weekend/backpacker I’d say it’s more than suitable.
