Hotel Copthorne a Quilpie

A very beautiful hotel which needs a bit of uphill walk for about 15 mins from the town centre. There're no shops restaurants in the neighbourhood but one can eat at its restaurant or room service. The room itself is very spacious, clean, well equipped and our room overlooks the lake which is great. The pickup point for Milford Sound tour we joined is along the street in front of the hotel (Stanley Street). I tried the buffet breakfast which is so so with limited choices. Overall I love this hotel especially the price is great compared with other hotels at the very central location.

The room is very big and the balcony has fantastic view. We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included. It was disappointing as our 3 breakfast meals were exactly the same. The car parking is good but may not be available if you are late coming back.
