Hotel con colazione inclusa a Queanbeyan

Rimasto in Twin Cabin #9 (3 persone) per usare i nostri coupons NSW Stay. Hotel Canberra non lo prendono. Non è una grande idea. - pulito e tempestivo - buona condotta - buoni letti, poveri cucchiaini - eccessivamente costosi per ciò che è (sospetto che i cuponi abbiano giocato un ruolo qui) - rumore dalla strada principale - ventilatore rotto (insostenibile) nel bagno - luce di porch non funziona - molto inutile illuminazione - lampade a letto moderne troppo luminose e non coperte - ”Free'” BBQ vuole una moneta da 1$ ogni tre minuti o così. Vada al pub a 200m di distanza. - Il sistema automatico di check-in ti permette di aspettare fino alle 2:00 per entrare, Anche quando non sei arrivato così presto, alle 13:35. Li ho chiamati e mi hanno fatto aspettare un codice SMS per raccogliere le chiavi mentre nessuno era in giro e la cabina era pronta.

Absolutely fine for a quick overnight stay. Good location near the train station, pub across the street. A large Woolworths is nearby in case you need supplies. Check I was done via electronic panel next to the front entrance. The reception was closed so cannot comment on the staff. Room it's self was worn but perfectly fine. Although the floor creaked loudly. Kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplied. Along with some biscuits. Rooms on the upper floor had patio furniture out front of the rooms. The bathroom though had some dirt in the shower floor and tiles. A large crack running down the wall reflection of the age of the motel. Plenty of very hot water though with good water pressure. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. Above the sink there were 3 plastic bottles which I could only read one of labels so had no idea what 2 of them contained. They also had some weird sort of lids /pumps that made them difficult to open. Received a good nightly rate of just under $100 which was very good especially as it was a long weekend. All in all a perfectly adequate little motel good for a night or two while on a trip but wouldn't recommend as a base for an extended stay. Pets unfortunately are not allowed .

This really is the best kept secret hotel around Canberra. Fully refurbished, the interior is as good as any of the hotels close by that charge triple the price (and I’ve stayed in a lot of them). The staff are lovely there’s free barista, coffee and muffins etc in the reception area and it’s centrally located to any part of Canberra. Even though it looks like it’s on a busy circle, the rooms were so quiet. I didn’t even know I was near traffic. Full price point And quality in this star rating hotel. I don’t think you will find a better room in the ACT.

One of the worst cases of theft, bullying, abuse and intimidation that I have ever experienced as a hotel guest. And I travel often (and many motels would give me glowing testimonials). The owners effectively stole 900 dollars from me by accepting my 8 night reservation, then bullying me out as soon as they saw my face. I only stayed for 2 nights. They never offered a refund or apologized for their hateful, condescending speech and unprofessional conduct/bullying. My crime? Apparently I drove a little too fast out of the car park (yup - seriously - they threatened to kick me out because of this) and I complained about prolonged noise by gossiping staff. When I was exhausted from work and needed to rest, they knocked on my door, and physically intimidated me, speaking to me like a child and criminal (not like an adult and long-term customer). Some of the abhorrent things that they said to my face: ”You think that your 1200 dollars matters? We are fully booked out for this weekend. I gave you a discount for that room! (by the way, at 150 per night, there was no microwave and I didn't sleep well on the too-soft mattresses and pillows, so not good value anyway)” ”This is a motel. People will make noise. If other guests want to talk, they are allowed to! (I was referring to prolonged noise - and many good motels consider this a valid concern).” After they had intimidated me, the female owner said, tauntingly, ”Do I need to call someone for you?” Hey owners - if my 1200 dollars isn't worth anything to you because you are fully booked out all the time, why don't you give me my money back? Many hotels consider me an outstanding guest - I am quiet, mind my own business and am financially sound. Like I countered to them: ”Have I done *****? No. Have I done alcohol? No. Have I painted the room? No.” They threatened to kick me out because they are domineering, controlling personalities who don't like it when clients have a point and defend themselves. I strongly advise against pretty women staying here - and don't book a week-long stay here, because they'll just make up an imaginary crime, bully you into leaving and not give a refund. The behaviour of the owner makes me even more disgusted and ashamed of this country. Bullying and abuse is not right.

Questo era un Best Western e era molto buono - non più.. Ristorante usato per offrire colazione - non più. Mi sedevo sul divano della stanza (che sembrava qualcosa che mi era stato ritirato dal vassoio, avendo un pelletto di imitazione fiammato che si accostava ai miei pantaloni e alcuni trasferito su qualsiasi altra cosa che mi sedevo). Nessuna microonde, nessuna tazza di tazza, due mutandine, un bicchiere di vino, poi una finestra aperta permanentemente nel seguito e un piccolo duo. E'un vero peccato, perché questo era il mio motel preferito per il soggiorno di notte nella regione e spero che un altro riempirà il divario.

Crestview is more suited to workers from outside the area, and there were plenty of them during our weeklong stay. Only a handful of travelers like us. The rooms have the bare minimum so if you want to put something on a hook in say the bathroom or bedroom, or even hang something up in the closet, I suggest you bring your own, even over the door hooks, or a mat at the door to wipe the bottom of your shoes clean. There are no bedside tables, so you have to improvise, maybe a laptop for a tabletop or just put everything on the floor. Flourescent lighting, esp in the 2nd room is annoying as its so bright in every room. Owners could save more if that was changed to something like LED or just a side table light in each room, (lounge had one but it was wobbly, and we didn't dare risk using it). The parks clothesline just outside the laundry was broken. We were lucky to be in cabin 66, (Oct 2023), as we had one right next to us, but I think everyone else missed it as it is tucked away. Zero issues with maintenance and cleaner who reported our sliding door to second bedroom was jammed upon our arrival. Maintenance man came when he said he would, (he was working on a plumbing job, and we were seen to next). Very much appreciated. Our unit was very clean and tidy. The cleaners quietly go around their business in the morning. Pity they have such old equipment to work with. It stands out. Can't be missed. The cart/s in particular that they use are so outdated and, in my view, an OH&S issue if not already. They cleaners don't even have a uniform. Uniforms and new equipment are good for morale and work efficiency and can be written off as deductibles, so the owner/s aren't really out of pocket. It looks better for guests as well. This is another reason why I only gave Crestview 3 stars
