The hotel is in a great location and is very beautiful. That being said the hotel is more of a resort for children. The service was not good. The bedding wasn’t changed, and the room service was exceptionally slow.

Great location, a really pleasant, spacious and clean room with a marvelous view on the lake. But the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff, especially Lynn, Luna and Dylan. They are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. As for food, breakfast was excellent (Chinese+Western cuisine).

Overall a pleasant stay.
However, the management should pay attention to the quality of food at the Western Restaurant. Borderline unacceptable!

The staff were mazing right from the porters, the front desk young man Casper, received us and enlightened us on how to get about, one of the managers Fancy Su ensured we started off nicely. The environment was full of where to go which we couldn’t complete and have to return to continue. Thanks to all of you who made our stay comfortable.

Among the many memories of the hotel, I was most impressed by him who showed us around the hotel with a golf cart on the first day. The sunset was beautiful, and it remained the most beautiful memory of this trip. It was inconvenient because there were quite a few facilities that were not operated, but everything was understood because he gave me good memories on the first day.

Our stay at the Sheraton Lion Lake Hotel can be summarised in one word, disappointing.
I believe this was/has the potential to be a lovely hotel to visit. The hotel and its grounds are massive, however, most areas are closed and there is a general feeling of abandonment. Fountains and water features are empty, shops closed, grass is overgrown and facilities a little dated and tired. The indoor pool and one of the restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was not very clean.
What it did have was excellent customer service, the Moroccan theme was very cool and the rooms overlooking the lake were clean and had a lovely balcony.
Overall, not worth the money. If you are looking for a base to sight-see Qingyuan, there are much cheaper hotels around and if you are wanting to enjoy a staycation this will be a disappointment.

Lovely stay at Sheraton. Second time visiting, decided to book the signature suite and it really didn’t disappoint. Amazing room and views of the lake. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will come back again.

Huge hotel, outdated but still in good condition. Great for families BUT the indoor playground really needed a deep clean, the pool water was full of bugs on a Sat.afternoon (better next morning)and the water in the indoor pool way too cold.Outdoor playground was great, rooms very nice though smelling heavily of damp. Breakfast was fantastic!Staff were helpful wherever we went. I would not recommend the Chinese restaurant or the buffet-do yourself a favour and drive 10min down the main road to a countryside restaurant,where you can eat massive portions of delicious ribs, roast chicken,tofu,veg,etc.Generally,we had a nice stay and would come again but the things I mentioned above really need to be taken care of.

Overall a good experience during Chinese New Year. Went a few days before the official start of the holiday season so it was less crowded. Got upgraded to the lake view room and were given a 200 RMB off coupon each for the spa ( make sure to ask for any special guest discounts at the reception). The spa experience was nice, a bit pricey but well up to Sheraton’s standards.
Dine in service was a bit disappointing and very expensive however the breakfast was good with plenty of choices.
The resort is huge, you can walk or rent a cute bicycle to explore it for an hour. There are some boats you can also rent to go on the lake. Everything is extra.
Far away from the main attractions (mainly the bridges) but you can hire a car for about 80 RMB.

Amazing place, Amazing stuff! My kids join to stay there ! It's very charming hotels. But there is no way to charge EV cars (only tesla)
