Farewell to *** China. I am negative of its returning in the future. I thank you for the accompanying for five years, even though a platform with mutual trust between landlords and lodgers and somewhat succumbing less to authority's unreasonable registration seems 'not done' or if you like, ' threat to public security'.
Talk a bit about this last trip.
I didn't expect much at the first place as I only sought a decent place to shoot the night before the exam. The exam was significant. And it was probably my fault to ignore of asking my dear host whether the room was quiet at night. It was, as matter of fact, not. As described, the house was in a villa area near the sea. However I doubt (I am not offering a fact but a sight so anyone can imagine before deciding) it was a commercial area incorporated with such as coffee shops, inns restaurants or teahouse than a simple residence villa. We went to bed early at night. The noise of women's terrifying laugh and glass from outside were clear to enter the room even after the window closed.
The room in terms of its decoration neither flattered nor deceive compared to the photos. I think the door only had one electronic lock with passports. No latch indoors. I believe, theoretically anyone who has a passport, if they want, can enter freely.
Yes, free coffee as claimed is offered but only you ask seriously for it. I would recommend less to someone painfully shy considering every time you are inquiring or asking something, the first response is a 'what' and you need to think of another expression or adjusting the accent.
Well I should probably not judge its service as it is not *** host's obligation to serve. But there were literally check-in and check-out. They asked for ID submitting and GreenCode (a QR code to prove a Chinese from a right place and its covid negative) without reminding in advance. When 'check-out', I was standing in their shop like a ***** for some minutes. There were five staffs making coffee, chatting, teasing puppy. But none of them even bothered to tell when I can leave. Of course, I can walk straight out and no one have a right to stop me. But as I was told, there was a check-out. They sent someone upstairs to check I had broke anything. And I did show some respect. I think their business will continue via other public safety-preferred platforms and this will be trivial and pointless comment for. *** china.
Thanks and so long.
