Abbiamo trascorso 12 giorni meravigliosi in questo hotel pulito e bello, che offre qualcosa per tutti. Da sottolineare il fantastico miniclub, dove Viktoria e Amelie si sono prese cura di nostra figlia in modo eccellente. Il cibo era molto vario, con serate a tema e una selezione che comprendeva sushi, pesce fresco, salmone affumicato, gamberetti e salmone – qualcosa che non abbiamo mai visto in altri hotel in Egitto. Tutto il personale è molto amichevole. Le piscine sono molto pulite, due di esse sono riscaldate, e una piscina per bambini è coperta da un telo parasole e ha una profondità di 50 cm. Non abbiamo trovato fastidiosa la presenza dei gatti, come descritto in altre recensioni. Le camere sono molto pulite. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo incidente con delle formiche nella stanza, causato da un pezzo di torta che avevamo lasciato. Dopo aver chiamato la reception, la nostra camera è stata pulita immediatamente e tutte le formiche sono state rimosse. Abbiamo provato solo il ristorante italiano, che non ci è piaciuto particolarmente, ma nel complesso, questo hotel è un'ottima scelta e ci torneremo volentieri.

This is our 3rd visit to this resort as we stayed the same time here last year. This time we upgraded to a ocean View in block 16 and we wasn't disappointed waking up to the ocean every day. We did wonder if it would meet our expectations as we had a great time here last year, but it sure did and in many ways the service and staff were even more pleasant x Food choices in the main restaurant are amazing with something for everyone, you can sit inside or outside and drinks are served by a waiter absolutely . You can also dine in the speciality restaurants and we had no problem booking them. 3 pools to choose from and snacks are available around all of them if you want to eat at the pool. Lots of activities available throughout the day and a great gym if u want to exercise The lagoon is great with a calm water and lots of activities such as canoes, wind surfing and paddle boards too, the sea is warm too. Great jetty for snorkeling off and life guards are on duty at all the water locations. Again we had a great holiday the team cannot do enough for you and everyone has a smile on their face and so pleasant, from the gardener's to the waiter's. We celebrated our wedding anniversary while we were away and the team did a great job decorating the room and we ate at the Egyptian restaurant that night and they decorated the table and got us a cake. A great relaxing holiday in a magnificent hotel with stunning views and so much to do with the sunshine guaranteed. A 3rd visit will be on the agenda and thanks to all the team at Tui Magic Life Kalawy x x Dave and Kim x x

This complex has got to be one of my favourites. We arrived late, closed to midnight after travelling for around 15 hours with 2 small children, the receptionist immediately took our bags and told us to go get food before we check in, there was a generous spread laid out for late arrivals. Once checked in we were taken to the room, which was immaculate, spacious and amazing Aircon which is needed in Egypt. The mini bar was fully stocked, kettle and tea / coffee filled everyday. Few highlights.. Cleaners: they cannot work hard enough, everyday the room was cleaned to a very high standard, never did we have any issues and the children loved the towel animals left daily. Pools: There are 4 pools I believe, 1 with water slides, again immaculate, there was once an incident in the pool and the life guards immediately cleared the pool to ensure everyone was kept safe. All pools are a good size and we never had a problem with sunbeds. Food The food was incredible, having a particularly fussy child there was always something to eat, for the rest of the family the Food was certainly a highlight for is, there was so much good food, always fresh and there were chefs at every station ensuring the food was on a continuous loop so never standing for long. Every day was a different theme. The staff Couldn't do enough for you and never expected anything in return, if you do want to tip I recommend American dollars or euros, preferably not coins as its useless to them but the start are honestly grateful for anything even chocolate bars! The beach The was by far the highlight for us We did watersports everyday, surfed, paddle boarding and kayaking as well as diving from the jetty.. If your allergic to cats be aware there are a lot of them here but they certainly are not a problem, the hotel looks after them well. If anything it adds character to the hotel. I don't have a negative thing to say about this holiday it was simply 5* I will certainly be returning

This was my first time in Egypt & the first time travelling as a single parent. We absolutely loved this hotel & I would definitely return back. The place is full of charm, our room was lovely & the A/C was amazing (needed in the 45 degree heat!) The hotel is very isolated but has everything you need on site. I don’t have any negatives about our visit, the only thing I would of liked less of is the hard sale for the spa/boat trips/camel rides etc around the pool as they were quite pushy which was intimidating as a single female. The entertainment was always good, always plenty going on during the day around the main pool. We opted for the pool closest to our room which had the water slides on & we also used the beach several times. The free kayaks are great fun! It’s a yes from us - we will definitely be back!

Stayed here from 20th September for 11 nites ,we stayed In room 13107 ,room was really lovely ,bit dated but clean and comfortable, beautiful sea view . Fridge has complimentary drinks in, and water supplies are daily . The beach is nice but not sandy more gritty, but it didn't bother us . The water is clear and calm In the cove but can get bit rough further out for snorkeling. ,sunbeds on the beach are plenty and you can always get one during the day , although people do reserve them from very early .. The pools are great and staff are always around , and bringing you drinks they work very hard to keep the place clean and tidy . The food is ok and the ingredients are on show to see what's in it . I'm very picky and found the food ok you won't starve.lol There are a few negative bits but think that might be just me. 1 .I think there should be WiFi at every pool area as this was hit and miss around the site . 2 Ice cream should be available all day at every pool , like the snacks are . 3 think there should be some cordial choice not everyone likes juice or fizzy drinks 4 would be nice to have had a free shuttle bus to go into hurghada and back for people who like to go shopping as paying for a taxis isn't cheap. The hotel is geared up for the Germans I think that's a shame as there are other nationalities there . The staff are amazing and work so hard . From the gardeners, kitchen staff . Cleaning staff . Waiters . Pool attendant. . You all do amazing and would recommend this site and would go back

Honest Review Tui Magic Life Kalaway Review - it could have been amazing. My wife and I stayed at this resort for 11 nights. We purposely picked this resort for its reviews, ease of access to Luxor, house reef and photos online. Initially when we arrived at the resort we were disappointed to find that due to high winds we were unable to snorkel off the jetty but made use of the lagoon. Sadly this continued throughout our stay resulting us in only being able to snorkel from the jetty on 2 days we were there. When we did get to snorkel from the jetty the reef the sea life was incredible, we saw sea turtles and many other fantastic animals. We upgraded to a sea view room which was sorted directly with the hotel, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the position in the hotel we had, we overlooked the jetty, lagoon and also out of the wind. The complimentary drinks in the mini fridge were a nice touch and our rooms were always kept immaculate. Our cleaner worked very hard and was always very friendly. Sadly on day 3 of our holiday both my wife and I got very sick with a stomach bug. We visited the on site pharmacy and purchased the recommended medication £60 in total. This medicine completely flushed us both out which resulted in us both being unable to leave our room for the next 3 days. After this whilst still not recovered we pushed ourselves to go on our excursions we have planned. Overall the food was ok - not amazing. On more than one occasion we made it clear to our waiting staff that I had an allergy to dairy/eggs yet only to be presented with dishes containing cheese even when it was specified as dairy/egg free on the menus. It’s clear that staff need additional training for allergies to ensure other guests don’t get sick. The first excursion was a dolphin boat trip with Chill Tours which we highly recommend 10/10 experience. Whilst they do hassle you an annoying amount whilst you’re relaxing either by the pool or beach it was a great trip. We also visited Luxor on the tui deluxe tour, this was incredible to see all of Egypt’s history. The only downside to this trip was the length of the journey as we didn’t get back to our hotel until 10pm after leaving at 5am. Following these excursions we both continued to feel poorly and our condition deteriorated and by the end of our holiday we couldn’t wait to get back home. Overall the resort is great, staff are amazing but we both were very unlucky with the food and bad weather. We can see that people can have an incredible time here just unfortunate that this was not us.

The Good: Hot in June (36-38°C). Hotel nice, good facilities, good staff. Coral snorkeling trip was amazing. Food good. Drinks ok. Entertainment so-so. Aircon in rooms fab. Loads of cats, generally friendly. The not-so-good: Very hot in June (36-38°C). Wifi in rooms terrible; have to go outside mostly. Horses used for horse riding not kept well and have to go alongside main road for 100yards where trucks honk to scare the horses. Sunbeds reserved with towels early every day despite not supposed to be. Lacking watersports provision. Little actual beach. In summary this is a 4star resort but not 4+. We had a good time (middle aged parents with a 9yo girl) but i ask why travel that much further and pay more for no more bar the coral compared to southern Europe unless taking a trip to see Egyptian heritage (but that is a long way way by road)?

A beautiful place is made by beautiful people, and this is doubly true here. Great staff, always nice and willing to help, excellent food, wonderful surroundings with the possibility of various trips. The rooms are always nicely cleaned. We really enjoyed it here.
