Decent enough pub and food was very good thanks. Good parking, friendly staff. Rooms tired and aweful mattress (room 11 single) although you did get free Tea and coffee and a bottle of water. Not sure about all the dead flies squished on the window blind though too... Good and bad bits. Wouldn't stay here again but would eat and drink there.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice shower, menu and choice of ales a bit limited. Breakfast good, all done to order so have to wait a little if the person on reception busy, as she seemed to be doing everything from cleaning tables to refilling orange juice. But all done with a smile!

Double room overlooking the square. Old building & so quite quirky with sloping floor. Very clean. Location ideal for exploring the area. Toiletries, tea & coffee facilities, biscuits, iron, ironing board & hairdryer all provided. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Bar meal we had one night was ok but just average & nothing special. Staff friendly. We always got parked eventually but was very busy & spaces not always available. Only negatives if I had to mention any was the toilet noise - disturbed us through the night but got to take into account the age of the building. Don't know what could be done about it but it was very noisy. Also, the music from the bar was very loud & we could hear the beat booming well after 10pm at night & just after 8am. The evening noise of it disturbed us trying to sleep due to location of room. Overall, good value for money & lovely location.

Great staff, good food, clean and comfortable room. The shower is a bit cramped but good water pressure and nice and hot. Good location for easy access to Porthmadog and beyond, but nice and quiet if you’re looking for a bit of peace! I felt very comfortable on my own and the staff were great.

The online advertising gave the impression of the overnight accommodation being within a public house environment. It was not. Room key just handed to me and pointed at a building up the road. There is no allocated car parking and there is difficult parking in general. The room I was given (number 11) was smelly and hot in what feels more like a low grade bedsit block than a quality b&b. The accommodation was a good deal more expensive than my previous nights and was nowhere near as good in any way. Noisy services as in taps and toilets from other rooms, very noisy. Voices of other guests easy to hear from above. Floor sloping and bed very soft and uncomfortable. Worn mattress. I would not recommend overnighting in the accommodation I was given. The breakfast in the pub, was, however excellent.

Great location to base yourself to explore that area of North Wales. The room was clean and had coffee and tea making facilities and a comfortable bed The bar was well stocked, served excellent far and the staff were friendly. What more do you need?

It was ok that’s all I can say! The room was nicely decorated and clean but very warm and extremely narrow beds (we had a twin room) accessed up a very steep narrow staircase. We had booked a table and we were really looking forward to our meal as 4 star dining had been promised! Well the restaurant was more like a cafe no atmosphere and the food was average nothing special. There was no where comfortable to sit for a drink following our meal again no cosy atmosphere or pub feeling. Staff were pleasant and breakfast following morning was fine. Will not stay again.

Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Spaghetti Bolognaise was very dry with just a small amount of ‘sauce’ so had to ask for more sauce. Seats were dirty, my white trousers were marked because of this. Reasonable pub, reasonable food!
