Tucked within the historic Fort JadhavGADH, Chajja - All Day Dining offers a unique blend of heritage and flavor. I recently dined here and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Vivek, Mudassir, Sachin, Sain, and Moin, whose efforts made our visit unforgettable.The ambiance at Chajja, perched above the fort’s entrance, is enchanting, with stunning hill views from the Jharokha balcony. The menu, featuring Maharashtrian and North Indian specialties, was a delight. The Methi Dal was rich and comforting, while the Tandoori starters, recommended by Vivek, were perfectly spiced and paired beautifully with a Hardys Stamp Riesling, suggested by Mudassir. Sachin ensured our plates were promptly refilled, enhancing the experience.The Peas Pulao was a hit for its simplicity, though the Maharashtrian Flower Batata Rassa, served by Sain, could have leaned more into authentic regional flavors. Moin’s warm hospitality made up for a slight delay in food service, which took about an hour. The pricing (around ₹1200 for two) felt fair for the generous portions and royal setting. However, a bit more attention to cleanliness, like dusting the balcony railing, would elevate the experience further.Thanks to Vivek, Mudassir, Sachin, Sain, and Moin, our meal at Chajja was a perfect blend of culinary excellence and heartfelt service. We left with smiles, already planning our next visit to this fort-side gem.
