Spent two nights here as part of our honeymoon. Views are spectacular and service is even better! My husband and I got in late and missed dinner so they prepared a beautiful cheese platter for us ! Eco lodge so no kettle/fridge in the room but close by in the shared dining room.

Outstanding in every way. We were in an apartment, very comfortably outfitted. We loved the off-the-grid-ness of the lodge; we slept extremely well, partly because it was just so quiet. Dinner was excellent, the view is terrific. But perhaps the highlight was the Night Sky experience: the location of the lodge has vanishingly little light polution, so lying out in the back under all those stars and actually seeing distant galaxies (the small and large Magellanic Clouds) was truly wonderful.

3 things we loved- staff that deeply cares and wants to make your experience special, food that reflects a staff and chef that are deeply talented, views that astound. Things we might focus on; team haven’t got control of the night sky. Too many stars.

We loved our stay at Lakestone Lodge. Spacious and luxurious guest room and lovely amenities. Our meals were prepared with care and creativity and the staff provided excellent customer service. Little did we know that our helicopter pilot would land right on the grounds to take us up over Doubtful Sound. Nice touch!
