Just back from a half term week for Halloween. Two adults and a 13 & 12yr old. Hotel was clean, staff were pleasant and helpful. The mattresses and pillows were really comfy, we stayed in a family room with a large balcony. Room was cleaned everyday and was really large with two double beds and 2 chairs. I've heard people complaining that the hotel was French orientated, however, although there was a lot of French families there we found them all polite. The food selection was excellent for all inclusive , with lots of choice even on the last night when the hotel was closing. Ignore the complaints about cold food, if you really want it piping hot , stick it in the microwave for a minute. Would definitely recommend the hotel for families with young children

A decent 3 star hotel with glimpses of 4 star. Travelled with my wife and 2 young children under 4. Upon arriving in our room, we found items of clothing belonging to the previous guests, when i returned them to reception, I was asked if they blew in through the balcony... They didn't obviously, was offered no apology. The general cleanliness of the hotel, the rooms, the toilets, the pool areas is excellent, however, in the restaurant, the crockery, cutlery etc is appalling. If you want a high chair, you need to sift through 3 or 4 before you can find one that's in anyway clean, same with glasses, same with cups. The food itself is of very high quality and lots of variety each mealtime, the food was by far the best feature of this hotel. Although it great, the allergy information is pretty much non existent and the food labelling is atrocious, I once seen sausages labelled as potatoes and a member of staff told me "please do not trust the allergy information". They have pictures of allergens on some dishes but when you consult the key to cross check what the pictures mean, some of the pictures don't exist on the key. If you need anything or any help during mealtimes, it's very hard to find someone at hand to help, you can try to contact the staff they have on the floor but they are often occupied attempting to break the sound barrier while loading dirty dishes into the mobile carts. All meal times are extremely busy and could do with some sort of footfall staggering. On the hotel website, it mentions there is a fridge available, we had banked on this for snacks, however, the fridge is a "minibar" and despite having temperature controls, it does not drop below room temperature, I asked at reception and they informed no refrigeration was available. The evening entertainment could do with a revamp, there is a kids mini disco advertised from 8.30 to 9pm, but it often only lasted 20 mins, then there is a 45 minute unnecessary break before the adult entertainment. There is a lack of seating options inside so you'll need to get in early! The pool areas are another highlight of this hotel, plenty of deck chairs in shade and sun, lots of room in the pool, kids splash pool is superbly facilitated with lifeguard, slides, drinks machine and only a short walk to the other pool. The clientele of the hotel seems to be majority french, which is fine obviously but those expecting an English orientated contingent may want to reconsider and all activities are narrated trilinguily. There are a lot of hidden costs in the hotel, iron hire, safe hire, towel hire, stored luggage hire, tourist tax, kettle hire, most require a deposit and deposits are cash only. We spent over £100 on these alone The room itself is very good, clean, spacious, good shower, we had two single beds (quite creaky) and a sofa bed. The sofa bed mattress is very thin and the bars protrude through so not ideal for comfort , decent size balcony. A lot of reviews on here saying the

Just back from a week here with family. 4 adults & 2 children 10 & 2 years. The reception staff lovely & friendly on arrival. We arrived late & were told if we wanted food they would open the restaurant. Two visits later to reception it was opened. The food was not good at all nothing for children & some sort of crawly things in the carrots. The room was lovely & clean.The downside was no water in room on arrival. No kettle and one was needed one for baby milk. 22 euros & 10 euros deposit. Could buy more than one for that. 35 euros for room safe. No bed for 2 year old. Told we don't have one. When it was said not good enough they managed to find one. The food in restaurant was ok till 3 of us were ill. We found uncooked chicken and battered items only cooked outside. One of us took a few days to recover. Not sure if it was the food or the water on tap in the bar. There was no Choice of food for children. The drinks were terrible no choice of cocktails & yes extra for things like Pina Colada. The wine in the restaurant was on tap not normally not a problem but not good when rose & white wine warm not chilled & really warm. The restaurant staff extremely rude especially in the morning. We were totally ignored & laid our own table every morning. Seem to think colour of wrist band had something to do with it. One lunch time when the restaurant was rammed a waiter pulled 2 tables together for us. We just sat down & were very rudely told by a waitress we could not sit there. We didn't put the tables together. Things like ice cream spoons bowls as well as other food not replaced. When we asked staff they were not at all happy. There was not enough sunbeds round the splash pool especially with umbrellas. The area just not big enough in height of the season when great loads of families come in for the day. Sunday was just terrible. One child hit my husband in the face with a very hard toy he was swinging. The parents did not care very rude people. The lifeguard did come back to us to say they said sorry. We are well traveled & never experienced such rude staff. Hotel that is supposed to be all inclusive but so many things extra. It felt like grab as much money as possible. I would never stay in a Globales Hotel again.

We had a later arrival due to closure of the Palma airport - check in was easy with staff members. We traveled as a family of four plus in-laws. Two family rooms - we was appointed B block on the 4th floor. Two rooms next to each other. Our room being the four of us in two adults two young children. Arriving very late and behind with two young kids. I did email the hotel some months ago requesting a cot for my 2.5year old. No cot was in the room. The sofa bed wasn’t even made up/out. Having to move furniture around to be able to pull the sofa bed out etc gone midnight isn’t what I was expecting. We only had two towels in the room and no pillows for our girls sofa bed. Our room Telephone didn’t work so we had to make our way down to reception for pillows. Which they had none. We had a 6hour in total travel to palma due to the airport closure of bad weather. We arrived gone midnight we should have arrived around 6pm. Two little ones hungry normal when late night arrivals previous experience a plate left in the fridge of sandwich or fruit, we had nothing no water. We again went down to reception to ask if there was anywhere near by for snacks that would still be open. They did however open the restaurant up, to where they had bread and cheese and some fruit left from dinner. Without asking reception they wouldn’t have acknowledged this. Even though the island was affected by the bad weather that hit fast and quick. The rooms are very clean and the cleaners work hard doing this! Only thing I’d pick up on they don’t take away any cups etc from the bars. We had a few days collection of cups and including a champagne bucket to return to main reception. The rooms are neat tidy fresh - the shower leaked terribly into the tiles in the bathroom. Four of us showering we had to use so many towels to stop water traveling around. So make sure little ones wear shoes in the bathroom. The pillows are rather high and hard. One annoying thing the balcony doors/windows need a sheer curtain on them. The bathroom door is direct to the balcony so you would have to shut the full length black out curtains during the day at any point of privacy. As the block opposite can see directly in as well as you seeing into their rooms. Which when away blue skies sun shining having to shut out any natural day light and put the lights on made you want to spend no time in the room. We had a family room sofa bed and double in one room. Wasn’t the biggest room but it made do for the week we were there. Towels in the room some were nice a soft and others were old towels from previous branded hotel ones. That even had holes in them. Food drink - drinks are basic cocktails. I asked for a Malibu and coke and it was awful normally non branded stuff isn’t that bad. But it was like they made it bad so you’d want to buy it. I did enjoy the cava and sangria was the best drinks other than mahu beer. The queue for the bar that’s only one during the day was long. Only one person serving

Great hotel, so so clean! We had a great stay here, it's a very quiet area of Majorica so don't book expecting lots of shops and people. There is two supermarkets, one down the hill with some restuarants & bars and one bigger one up the hill with some more restuarants etc. The one down the hill is great and has a little of everything. The hotel provides a free bus into Palma which is great, lovely place to visit. There isn't a beach in the area so to speak but there's some nice views if you like a walk. I think the hotel also provided a bus to the beach but this isn't something we used. I have never stayed in a hotel cleaned so much as this one, you would see them inside the pools scrubbing daily. The staff worked so hard, shout out to Tamara in the snack bar area. She was so lovely and Tina in the restuarant/bar. All the staff are great. The only slight let down in this is the reception staff can be a bit off putting. Not that we had any real issues here but they aren't as friendly. The men on reception however are lovely. The only real complaint so to say I had was there is a lack of food for vegan diets or anyone with allergys. I knew this before arriving as I read other reviews but I do agree with everyone. All food is labelled but these are often wrong. i.e chips but it says veal or hash browns and it says duchess potatoes. It's somewhat a guessing game and desserts are a no go as they all have generic signs. If you like your food very hot there is microwaves there as the food isn't roasting but this personal taste really. Still there was always something there and a great selection of salad bits. The pool areas are lovely, there were plently of sunbeds and we happily moved around each area daily. As I said the pools are very clean and the entertainment team kept people going around here. There is also plently of smoking areas around the hotel if you need to use them. There is a shop inside the hotel which is lovely and always well stocked, magnets, jewellery, clothing, plug adapters, fans, kids toys, food, drink, towels etc. It's a great place to visit if you are looking for a quiet holiday.
