Puerto Plata: i migliori hotel con palestra

Cofresi Palm Beach Resort and Spa is an absolutely GORGEOUS resort! That being said, communication was extremely poor and it took several days of exploration to figure things out. As a result, I wanted to share a few tips / relevant information I wish I had known: - VIP Beach is absolutely incredible; if you have access to this beach, be sure to check out the beach bunk beds/swinging beds. You can also get 2 hours of free Wi-Fi on this beach as well as customized blended drinks and all-inclusive snacks - Dinner Reservations are only able to be made between 9 AM - 11 AM at guest services. I recommend getting there as early as possible as I was only able to get reservations 2/7 nights - EVERYONE is trying to sell you something… even hotel staff. And frankly, they get quite pushy. So know your boundaries and what you are willing to spend/where - Wi-Fi is available for purchase at the front desk (per device); otherwise you are limited to 1 hour of free Wi-Fi per day - If you want a lock & key for your safe, you have to ask the front desk to purchase it - Currency exchange opens at 9 AM and is available at The Tropical lobby - In regards to the buffets, Casablanca had a much wider selection and overall better food than The Pearl Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time. The resort is gorgeous. It has a beautiful ocean, clean rooms, friendly staff, a gorgeous beach, and countless pools/bars. I would highly recommend this resort if you have these tips in mind.

La nostra vacanza, 11-15 Dic 2023, a Be Live Marian, Puerto Plata è stata eccellente. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, siamo stati posti e trattati come VIP. L'hotel ha invecchiato, tuttavia, pulito e ben mantenuto. Il servizio eccellente! Vorrei ringraziare Luis al bar VIP, che ci ha servito la nostra prima bevanda, Francis, Roberto, Cecilia e Josefina al Dining, tra gli altri, che erano estremamente ospiti e di aiuto. Le attività e mostra, anche se pioveva nei nostri ultimi due giorni, decise di andare al bar sportivo e di avere un bel tempo da bere e danzare, e ancora una volta, un grande servizio. Torniamo indietro nel 2024.

Dovete essere più precisi nel tipo di camera. Dovevamo pagare 100 dollari per persona a notte, presumibilmente per il mercato internazionale che non ci piaceva per niente.

Ottimo preparazione . Il personale molto gentile e amabile servizio , le varietà di cibo molto bello e eccellente cibo tutto molto bello ristorante pulizia delle camere molto bene tutta la piscina l'acqua tibia è stato il meglio per me

Cominciamo con quello che c’era di positivo, ovvero il personale molto cordiale, disponibile e professionale. Sempre pronto a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente. Adesso la parte negativa. La struttura non sembra affatto un 5S, le stanze praticamente “odoravano” di umidità, sono prive di doccia ma hanno una scomoda vasca adibita a doccia. Il cibo al ristorante è di sufficiente qualità e ripetitivo. C’era scritto che offriva 4 piscine ma in realtà ne aveva SOLO una e priva di bar. C’era scritto che aveva un ristorante aperto h24 ma NON È COSÌ, apriva alle 10:00 con SOLO la colazione (prevalentemente frutta) e chiudeva alle 11.00, riapriva alle 12.00 e chiudeva alle 17.00, riapriva alle 23.00 e chiudeva alle 02.00. C’era scritto che aveva 2 ristoranti alla carta…realmente NON È COSÌ, il ristorante alla carta era il ristorante che doveva rimanere aperto h24 (anche per questo rimaneva chiuso) e funzionavano a giorni alterni, inoltre la capienza era solo per 40 persone e non c’era un limite per prenotare, ovvero bastava che 8 persone prenotavano per 5 persone e il ristorante era pieno. Non credo che tornerò.

Stayed for 6 days at the end of May for a quick all-inclusive getaway. Been to many AIs in both Mexico and Dominican over the years and do prefer the Iberostar chain which is one reason we chose the Costa Dorada. Beach was clean and walkable, plenty of beach chairs and palapas if you wanted to just sit and bake in the heat. Pool was warm but that is more an effect of the weather, one noticeable negative and one of the reasons I gave it only 4 stars is the pool was filthy, cloudy water various things floating in it, at any time there is clumps of hair that would stick to you, all sorts of bugs, food, cotton balls etc. Occasionally you would see someone running a skimmer across in the morning but it was if the filter did not work at all. You could smell it did have chlorine in it and there was no algae to be seen, still absolutely no way you would want to put your head under that water. Plenty of loungers, seemed to be less of a towel game than we've experienced at other resorts which is nice. Did manage to get a few insect bites both around the pool and in the room, mosquitos I guess but you never see them. Room Air conditioning - this needs its own paragraph. There's a rotary switch on the headboard with 3 settings: Off - Low - High - High is kind of noisy but tolerable. Here's the thing, during the day the system puts out ice cold air, room is freezing which is fine if you like it like that and you can always turn it down or off. Come evening time the A/C gets warmer and warmer to the point it's barely cooling. This happened every day by 9 at night it was warm and if you were lucky it would start getting cool at 2-3 in the morning again. Room Dead quiet at night, but backing onto the construction of a new hotel next door which began every day at ~6:00AM Sunday included made it less comfortable to use the balcony during those hours but there are many better places to be during the day anyway. Pillows were not great but that is more of a personal preference, beds comfortable, sheets nice. Maid service was great left the room clean always, mini bar refreshed every second day all good. Bars were usually busy and this was complicated by having only 1 bartender at any time of day, this includes the swim-up so at times getting drinks could be challenging. This resort also caters to families and large groups of locals, this seemed to start Friday afternoon and continued mostly through the weekend they also open the resort to cruise passengers which arrive by the busload on days that ships are in port, showing up in the morning but having to scurry back to the ship for Entertainment people were usually down at the beach so didn't interact much, did occasionally watch the crazy pool games in the afternoon. Didn't see any night shows, they start at 9:30 and after having seen many a Michael Jackson show etc. we didn't feel we were missing much.
