If you ever find yourself traveling to Puerto Jiménez, CR, please take the time to check out this hotel. Our stay was absolutely amazing. Hot water, amazing water pressure, cold and insulated rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, amazing space for the 4 of us sharing one room. Not to mention the incredible views, hospitality and kindness from the staff. Mostly everything is within walking distance, including the airport and car rental center. Our hosts were amazing in helping us find different activities and excursions that were within our price range for our time there. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I find myself in costa rica.

Hey people ,it was amazing to stay at cabinas tropicales ,we feel like home in our garden ,very simple minimalistic place with everything you need Comfortable bed and refreshing AC Amazing place to cook for your self with all you need Very well guided on all activities you can do around ! Very nice people to meet on the way! ☺️PURA VIDA

Very nice rooms and tidy communal area with everything, kitchen fully equiped and even some board games. They have transformed the little garden area to create a quiet and peaceful place very close to the center of Puerto Jimenes. Price / quality match. Very friendly staff, always helpful, up for a chat and ready to recommend the best things to do in the area. Thanks for a nice stay.

Very kind hotel manager who helped us a lot to manage our activities around Puerto Jimenez and Corcovado. Cabinas Tropicales is calm and very clean place. There is fully equipted kitchen and shared fridge. Around cabinas is beautiful garden and we was able to met there couple of Ara parrot!

We stayed at Cabanas Tropicales before and after our overnight stay in Corcovado. The owner and manager were both very kind and very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage here while we were trekking in the park.
The location is great. Close to the beach and good restaurants and only a short walk to town.
The room is basic with air con and a fan and they offer hot water in the shower if you want it. Simple kitchen to use if you need with free coffee and tea.
The grounds are beautiful. Many flowers and plants. Lots of birds in the area. It feels like an oasis.
Highly recommend this place for a simple and affordable place to land while in Jimenez.

Very nice room with open-air shower and large twin beds at different levels. Extremely nice English-speaking host helping us with tours and whatever we asked about. Car parking within the premises with locked doors. Small kitchen with fridge where we could prepare breakfast.

Great space for friends and family to enjoy the parks and nature in this area of CR. The beds are comfy, and the kitchen is big and easy to use. Jean Carlos is wonderful and very helpful with the questions we had and showing us the spots in town. The lounge area is covered with trees and wildlife so it’s very much a hidden oasis. It is an added bonus it’s so close to the airport. My whole group and i felt very at home here right away. Thank you to Jean Carlos for setting up a lovely stay.

Juan Carlos is very friendly and helpful took care of us and immediately upon arrival gave us a cold coconut filled with coconut water. Juan gets an A . Rooms slighty sketchy, within walking distance to a few restaurants near the water.
