Hotel con colazione inclusa a Puerto Iguazú

We used this hotel as part of a visit to the Iguazo Falls. When you arrive the hotel looks nice but unfortunately it is only skin deep. The check in process for our group of 13 couples was unbelievably tedious and made so complicated by the hotel itself. Once we eventually got our room key the disappointment hit. The corridor carpet was absolutely disgusting with stains everywhere - not a good start! Once we entered the room it was like going back in time. The room was big and furnished in dark wood that looked like it was installed in 1970. The air conditioner was mounted on the wall and all the electrics were hanging out. Not sure that would pass a safety test. The bathroom was big but again it looked like a 1970’s install. The shower just had a nozzle that had no holes in it so the water just poured out in one lump. Overall it was one star at best. The restaurant was dire with no one understanding English which made everything quite difficult. We ordered dinner and waited and waited and waited. Eventually the food arrived which was lukewarm - my wife returned her burger and told them to not bother with a replacement as she had lost her appetite. Breakfast the next morning was also pretty dire with a weird selection of food. All in all this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in! My advice would be to find somewhere else if going to the falls.

Good location but room (earth room - with balcony) was run down and smelt mouldy. The bathroom in particular looked shabby, with stained sealant and holes in the tiles around the shower attachment. There was no complementary water provided in the room, and no kettle. The mosquito netting around the balcony had been badly patched making it look unloved and scruffy. Staff in restaurant and bar seemed completely uninterested in providing any service. It could be a lot better with a bit of management.

This is a charming place. Jungle vibes that even has a butterfly farm on the property. Staff is very helpful. About a 20-30 minute taxi to the Argentina side of Iguazú entrance. The breakfast is simple but good. Great price for what you get. Highly recommend.

Came over after a terrible experience at Rainforest and it was like heaven on earth. The hotel is conveniently located with a bus stop 5 min walk outside that takes you to the airport and the waterfalls at hourly frequency. There is also a taxi operator right across the hotel. The hotel staff immediately walked out to assist with our luggage upon our arrival and was extremely hospitable. A complimentary 25 min visit to the sauna was included, gimmicky but it was a nice touch. The room was large, spacious and clean. AC was reliable as was the hot water and water pressure. Breakfast was basic but there was a large spread. We had an enjoyable experience.

Il nostro hotel è stato molto bello nel centro della giungla.La nostra camera si trova in una bella piscina e ha goduto del buffet (con molte opzioni per tutti).Il personale dell'hotel è stato così amichevole e sempre ci ha aiutato a fare giri in città / a qualsiasi delle nostre tour. Un buon conducente dell'hotel ci ha portato il lato brasiliano delle cadute (che con un taxi / conducente si arriva a saltare la linea per l'immigrazione) e prima ci ha portato a un ristorante incredibile empanadas. Era così paziente e gentile che era così apprezzato in un nuovo paese.

Do 1 stella per pietà e per rispetto alle persone che lavoravano all’interno dell’hotel che si sono mostrate sempre gentili e collaborative. L’hotel ha la pretesa di essere un 5 stelle ma non lo è. La struttura esterna è fatiscente e sporca. All’interno la hall neanche male ma il vero problema sono le stanze. Pazienza l’arredo datato e sicuramente non da 5 stelle ma abbiamo trovato macchie sui muri, incrostazione di ruggine sul sifone della doccia, lenzuola e piumino pulito ma con macchie indefinite ed infine il climatizzatore obsoleto e che emetteva un rumore fastidioso. All’esterno c’è anche una piscina. Abbiamo cambiato 3 lettini prima di trovarne uno che non fosse mezzo rotto o con cacche di piccione. La piscina anch’essa obsoleta. Da evitare anche il ristorante. Purtroppo un’esperienza poco piacevole. Se vi vendete come 5 stelle dovete essere un 5 stelle. Consiglio di rivedere il tutto.

Immerso nella foresta pluviale, l’hotel ha delle zone comuni molto ampie e bellissime. Purtroppo i servizi non sono coerenti con il resto. La camera che inizialmente ci hanno dato al pianoterra, sapeva fortemente da muffa ed era opprimente per il buio e l’assenza di vista. La seconda camera non aveva gli appendini nell’armadio e li abbiamo dovuti chiedere più volte. All’arrivo gli asciugamani da bagno erano sporchi. Per due giorni è mancato un secondo asciugamano per il viso (eravamo in due). In un 5 stelle ci si aspetterebbero le ciabattine di cortesia ed un asciugapelli, che non c’erano. La televisione non ha mai funzionato, neppure dopo l’intervento dei servizi di manutenzione dell’hotel. Già solo questo, in un 5 stelle, avrebbe dovuto avere come conseguenza le scuse e, se l’impianto non era riparabile, il cambio camera. Peccato. Si presenta più che bene ma non è un 5 stelle
