We headed to the Garden of Eden for a celebration dinner, thinking this place could be a great choice. We were way off. We sat down and looked over the menu. I ordered the veggie pizza which was listed as a pizza with "vegetables, onions, and garlic". They were very specific about the onions and vegetables. My girlfriend at the ratatouille. When the dishes came out, the pizza was full of uncooked onions and garlic. I told the waitress it had no other vegetables and she brought it back to the kitchen. She showed the chef the menu, where it showed vegetables but he said his menu was different and therefore would not put any vegetables on it. Well for 490 pesos, I did not accept this. Instead my girlfriend and I shared the less then stella ratatouille. The ratatouille tasted like it was made with frozen vegetables out of a bag and sauce from the corner store. (It was sauce from the corner store, because we bought the same sauce the night after). This would not be a problem if they were not charging the prices they were. Instead we paid for the ratatouille and headed over to Vesuvio's to eat. The chef and owner need to reevaluate what they have on the menu as well as how to cook it. I will never eat here again.

This diving resort fulfills your wishes diving with a group of friends. Up to 5 dives a day, short ways from your bungalow to the dive center and to the shore. Very good dive sites within 5 minutes and very experienced dive guides. They show you all the smallest things you never would expect. The restaurant is also outstanding. The organization of the transfer to manila airport was also very smooth!

Ich fahre nun seit mehr als 9 regelmäßig in den Garden of Eden. Ich bin sehr gerne dort. wo sonst wird für jeden das Frühstück separat angerichtet. Der Service ist klasse. Der Pool ist sauber, das Restaurant hat ein gutes Angebot. Und es schmeckt! Wir können es nur empfehlen! Wir haben es in 9 Jahren nicht bereut!

Das Resort bietet eine gemuetliche Poolanlage und eine gute Tauchschule mit kurzer Wegstrecke zu Tauchbooten und –stellen. Motivierte Guides zeigen dem ungeschulten Laientaucher die Unterwasserwelt - Lebewesen, an denen sie 100%ig vorbeigeschwommen wären. Die vielen tropischen Pflanzen machen dem Namen “Garden of Eden” alle Ehre. Im Restaurant kann es schon Mal zu Verwechslungen der Bestellung und-oder langen Wartezeiten kommen, besonders, wenn der Manager ausser Sichtweite ist. Wir als Weltenbummler haben noch nirgends eine fähigeren und motivierteren Manager getroffen. WERNER HUT AB! Schade, dass der Saft aus Konzentrat besteht und zum Fruehstueck nur Inst. Kaffee serviert wird. Dies ist der Beschaffung und der Haltbarkeit geschuldet. Der “Strand” ist ein öffentlicher Strand an dem sich streunende Hunde treffen und Kinder spielen. Wer unberührte Strände sucht, muss auf die Malediven oder Südsee. Die Ortschaft Sabang ist ein kleines Dritte Welt Dorf ohne auf den ersten Blick nennenswerte Highlights. Tauchen und Sextourismus, (den es ja auf den Philippinen nicht gibt), prägen das Bild. Ein Wasserrohr, welches an der Oberflaeche des Gehwegs verlegt wurde, bietet Unfallrisiko und muss als Gefahrenquelle bezeichnet werden. Das Publikum ist sehr gemischt. Asiaten und Europärer, Menschen, die sich benehmen können, aber auch andern begegnet man wie überall auch in diesem Resort. Strom kommt aus der Steckdose - Falls er geliefert wird. Anderenfalls nerven überall Notstromgeneratoren - Typisch Dritte Welt
