Barcarola Club

Just checked in for the third time, and once again, Barcarola never fails to impress! The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—it truly feels like coming home. As a lovely birthday surprise, we were given a complimentary upgrade, which was such a thoughtful touch. The recent refurbishments are fantastic, with a stunning new reception area and beautifully updated apartments. The resort is perfectly located—just off the main ***** of Puerto del Carmen—yet as soon as you step through the gates, the hustle and bustle disappear, leaving you with only the sounds of birds and water. So peaceful! The pools are perfect, and the addition of new sunbeds and cabanas makes lounging even more enjoyable. Breakfast is 10/10, and the newly added Smash Burger restaurant is an absolute must-try. Whether it’s your first visit to Lanzarote or your hundredth, I can’t recommend Barcarola enough. A true gem that keeps getting better!

It was our first time in Lanzarote and we had a lovely time here. Our apartment wasn't quite ready when we arrived but we were able to store our luggage and then went for something to eat. Apartment was very clean and well maintained during our stay. Bathroom and shower were more than adequate and the bed comfy. Apartment could've done with a bit more storage space. We had the choice of two apartments and chose the one which overlooked the main ***** and loved it for people and sunset watching. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Would definitely return.

We would recommend barcarola club without question We stayed for one week to celebrate our birthdays . From the date of booking via their website,to the date of leaving , we could not fault anything about this hotel . The entrance with the turtle pond was lovely and the reception was modern and inviting. We were in an ocean view room overlooking the main ***** -which we asked for. The room was small ,modern ,refurbished and had everything we needed . It had a small kitchenette ,great fridge , coffee machine ,and a large tv which was great -we got BBC 1 so we could watch the VE Day coverage if we wanted to. The mattress was a little firm but we asked for a topper which we got straightaway . The rooms were cleaned everyday and linen and towels were changed on request The breakfast was great with a good choice . The pool was beautiful ,spotlessly clean with a jacuzzi and there were plenty of sunbeds, some comfier ones . There were also Balinese beds if you wanted shade.Pool towels were provided on arrival. There was a lovely Italian restaurant on the corner and a new smash burger restaurant on site and we got discount . The staff were the best we have ever encountered . Nothing was a problem. They answered every query, acted regarding every request ,and made our birthdays very special. Unfortunately , Lanzarote airport was rather chaotic on departure , and one of our phones was mislaid in the security section. Without going into too much detail , it was located but we had departed , and is being returned to us via the hotel. To all the staff especially Saray , we cannot thank you enough . Second visit at Easter. Lovely apartment, this time on ground floor which was much better for me, so thank you. All staff very friendly and kind, rooms cleaned to a very high standard always. Pool lovely, could always find sun bed. Breakfast very tasty with plenty of options. Very peaceful, but close to supermarket and restaurants. I did also enjoy turtle watch each day! Also had late check out on last day which completely lifted that days experience so was very grateful for that. I will be back!

Have no idea what these "terrible" reviews are all about. People who complain about nothing or have nothing better to do. Just returned from 9 night stay in 2 apartment and we loved it. Breakfast was good, staff in restaurant and chef (differ each day) are fab!!, so polite and attentive. As for the apartments, lovely, spotless and clean. Lady was in every day cleaning and fresh towels. Note in the bedroom that you can place on your bed if you wish for clean bed linen. Resort is soooo quiet, not a sound from the road, more the planes going in an out of airport. Had a nice small garden section out the back of the bedroom and it was well kept with nice tree's/plants. You could hear a pin drop at night. Pool area spotless cleaned morning and night and they will remove your towels from sunbeds before 9.30am and you have to go and collect them from reception, so don't try and do it before that time. Gardeners/maintenance workers are so polite and clearly work hard to keep the area so clean and tidy. Nice touch with the turtle pond at reception, we watched them a few times throughout our stay and staff even cleaned their pond out for them, so it was nice to see that they look after them. Check in and Check out easy, one lady with rather stern face, but she was pleasant for the one question we did ask. To me it was a hidden gem of an apartment complex. Right outside entrance is the sea, beach, local shops and restaurants, and bus stop/taxi rank. Would recommend the Italian right at the entrance, ate there twice and was so nice and you get a discount with staying at the Barcarola. You need to book a table in advance, that's how popular it is. Still in the thick of it all even at the top end of PDC but we walked a few times there and back and its not that far at all. Its a really nice walk. Overall, really nice place to stay and will be back again this year hopefully!! F

This was our 6th time staying a this beautiful complex. Little issue at the start, but for me it how a hotel deals with it, as mistakes can happen, team as always sorted quickly. We love this hotel and all the staff, especially my girls at breakfast, always greeted with big smiles, plus bacon cooked how hubby and I like it❤️ I promise you will not be disappointed, book it xx Tony & Josi
