Good location ! bang on where all the shops is , clean , receptionist is very friendly and helpful ,will defo back again and will stay the same

Would have been really nice if I stopped there but got cancelled last minute and left without a hotel. Had to sleep on a bench that night. Now sleep on a couch at someone’s apartment. Not a nice experience at my age being of 74 with not knowing what to do or where to turn. Still traumatised by the whole experience

This is our fourth time at la Penita but first since Covid. The hotel is located just off the main ***** and about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport (about 16 Euros). The hotel has a lovely pool and we never struggled to get a bed, although the hotel did seem on the quiter side. The pool bar offers food and drinks and is ran by really friendly ladies, the food was really nice and good value. The room is big with a sitting room, kitchenett,bathroom and bedroom. The only reason i gave this 4 and not 5 as the beds are not the comfiest,they squeak with any movement, which kept us awake. Overall, lovely hotel, friendly staff, I would recommend a sea view room, but note there are no lifts.

Before posting this review I emailed the owners to give them an opportunity to reply to my complaint. Basic apartments in a good location. Downside is that I had valuable cosmetic items stolen to the value of £100 on our day of departure which I was unable to report direct due to 4am checkout.

Have stayed here several times before. This time it was part of a two part holiday. I stayed here for 4 nights and somewhere else for 5 nights. Live let as always. The new mattresses are much better. While the new pillows are better they are a bit too firm. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are so helpful. You can rent pool towels from reception and also buy 5 litre bottles of water. The on-site bar is great for snacks and drinks and has happy hours. All they need now is air con and it will be perfect! Will be back

Rooms are basic but clean. Secure and safe public areas. Shops are fairly close, staff very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool, on site bar with a limited food selection, good breakfast. Good location with the main ***** with plenty of eateries in the area.

We booked through an agency app and was very pleased with our apartment and location. We were a little last minute and lucky to have found such a great spot close by to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. The owner was very accommodating with our arrival and departure times that made our stay even more special

We arrived at La Penita to be met with a very nice man called Daniel, who checked us in quickly and showed us to our room. We have a ground floor garden room (208). The apartment was very nice, had all the facilities you would need. The bedroom had 2 single beds which were very comfortable, lots of wardrobe space and drawers. There is no air con in the apartment but had a fan in the living room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom which was fine. The apartments state Wi-Fi but we could not get this we did report this, we kept checking but it never showed on the Wi-Fi it did show all the other apartments just not ours. Large pool, be quick if you want a sun bed as they were gone when we got up at 9am. The apartments are disabled friendly and has a snack bar can’t comment on it as we never used it. Short walk from the main ***** in PDC. Lovely clean apartments with friendly staff, will definitely return. Many thanks.
