LLC007Siamo stati così felici di rimanere nel Pu'er DeTing Boutique Hotel, l'hotel ha offerto un soggiorno eccezionale con la sua impeccabile ospite. Ci sono stati accolti con vera caldezza, mentre siamo entrati nell'hotel, tutti i membri del personale della reception ci hanno accolti con entusiasmo, uno è venuto a aiutarci a portare i bagagli, un altro è stato offerto te mentre ci siamo reclutati. I tocchi pensati iniziarono dalla zona di lobby - frutta fresca stagionale, tè fresco di Pu'er, creme di ghiaccio, acqua potabile in bottiglia (non devi continuare a chiedere dalla ricezione) e servizi come la padella di cotone per la faccia, spazzo/picchi per denti ecc ... al soffitto di piede erbaceo, detergenti, e asciugamani saneati nella stanza.
Quello che realmente pone questo hotel separato è il personale proattivo che va sempre sopra e oltre con servizio personalizzato. Il soggiorno è stato dotato di servizi di lavanderia giornaliera (un fantastico parco) e tre pasti che offrono una splendida esperienza di cena con un ampio colazione, pranzo e cena (servato dalle 7:30 alle 10 pm). Sono stati anche generosi, ho chiesto un prezzo per invitare un amico a venire a colazione, hanno risposto di andare avanti - gratis.
L'attenzione dell'hotel ai dettagli brilla in tutti gli aspetti, la risposta del personale alle richieste di WeChat è impressionantemente pronta, e il team di custodia (specialmente le amiche ”grazie”) aggiunge una vibrazione calda e accogliente. Dopo aver controllato, il personale ha preso attivamente i bagagli e ha camminato con noi al punto di attesa, ha aiutato a mettere i nostri casi in cabina e ha inviato informazioni su DeTing al nostro prossimo destinazione. KKareena BessonovaOh my goodness I have never stayed in a place like this! We live in a noisy city and come here felt like being in heaven. So peaceful and quiet. Our kids loved trying to catch fireflies in the night. We took a walk quite a distance from our cabin towards the hills and came back whrn it was pretty dark. We were able to see the milky way galaxy across the sky and so many stars that the only other place we ever saw tjat many stars was back in my country in the village with no light pollution.
Words cannot describe the tranquility of this placed the magnificence of nature and the peace and quite. The nights are so dark and quiet, felt like being somewhere in wild savanna. I heard some sounds of animals I had never heard before.
We will seriously make this place our frequent holiday detination for peace and quiet, nature and mental healing.
There were quite a number of activities for the kids but our kids were too young to participate. We were just quite happy going for walks and watching the stars at night. The grass looked so inviting and we wanted to roll down the hills hahaha but it was all fenced, which makes sense for safety. We heard there was a heard of elephants nearby.
We also loved in when it rained, the sound of raindrops on the leaves outside and on our leaves.
It’s definitely a place for poets and writers, artists and creative people. I was truly inspired and I mostly sat outside when the babies were napping, and read my Lord of the rings book that I took with me, as that place reminded me of hobbit-land and magic.
Coffee lovers must go, we had as many cups of coffee as we liked.
They also offered us hotpot for dinner and lunch.

UUtente ospiteOriginally, i booked only 1 night, with the intention of going onwards to Laos the next day. But i stayed a 2nd night because the room was spacious and the view out of the window was so restful.
About the room, I like it that there is a desk i could work from. And that the shower and WC areas are divided by a screen.
For the 2nd day, my room was refreshed with used toiletries replenished and towels changed. I wish the guesthouse would implement a system where guests are able to indicate if they wish to use the same towels. I am pro-environment, so if i don't change my towels everyday at home, i don't see the need to do so when i am away.
I also like the location as it was easy for me to catch Bus Route 3 to a nearby shopping area (i had KFC breakfast there), cross the road to take Bus Route 8 to Meizi Lake Park. I spent about 3 hours there, including enjoying coffee and cake in the cafe near the entrance to the park. (My biggest regard was i did not get to drink even 1 cup of Pu'er tea while in Pu'er :))
After that I back tracked on Bus Route 8 to change to Bus Route 3 to visit the Tea Horse Ancient City. Then after, I took Bus Route 3 to the shopping centre, had dinner and shopped at Walmart, before catching Bus Route 3 back to the guesthouse.
There is a walking/running track just across the road from the guesthouse. Forget about going the full length of the track. Once you see a slope on the right side, walk up there. You will get a nice viewpoint and there is a nice cafe there. If the weather is right, you get to see sunrise too! I went in the morning, the cafe was closed, so did not patronise the place. Had I known about this cafe, i would have gone there on the 1st day. Perhaps the guesthouse operator could do up a map with information of easily assessible places of interest. This could result in longer stays for free and easy travellers.
Pu'er is a well planned town/city. I like it and will recommend others to spend some time there. Most importantly, do stay at this guesthouse. The surrounding tea plantations will recharge you!

VVeraForeign friends: don't stay here. The worst experience I've ever had trying to check in - and I've travelled to many remote places in Yunnan over the past six years.
Staff has no clue about rules and regulations, even though I showed them the most up to date rules for foreigners travelling in China.
They tried to stop me from leaving the hotel because they couldn't figure out how to check me in, even though I was very hungry and tired and wanted to eat and go to bed early.
They came to my room at 10pm but still couldn't figure out how to check me in.
And here is the worst: at 8am the manager opened the door of my room and walked in without knocking. There was no inside lock or chain. Luckily I wasn't in the shower.
Awful place that made me feel extremely unwelcome as a foreigner. They made me feel like a criminal because of their incompetence and stupid actions. Very different from most places where staff is helpful even if it's a bit more complicated.
