Hotel in zona Parc del Pantà de la Serra, Province of Lleida

What a find! Our second night stop over on the way to SE Spain. Managed to arrive mid-afternoon as such had a light lunch and a few drinks pool side. The pool is substantial and one can properly swim in what is a safe environment as 'life-guard' on duty. The hotel provides plenty of choice of where to eat on-site, café bar or restaurant. The café bar is very pleasant and chilled, this is where we ate. Everything was competively priced both drinks and food. The bedrooms, were clean & well presented. Excellent walk-in shower in the en-suite. The view from the pool side is across the lake & onto the mountains, picturesque. The bedrooms facing the pool have great views of the lake & area. In high season their is plenty of activities such as canoeing, water pedal cycles , boat hire etc all available adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast was presented via a menu, ranges from continental to cooked. I would recommend the omelets. Parking is on-site in a large open area adjacent to the hotel and I understand paid parking is available for secure underground parking. Overall , a tremendous hotel we had a great stay and given the location would try and have an extra night in order to take in the scenery and enjoy more time in the pool next time!

Di passaggio, abbiamo pernottato una notte. Camera pulita e ampia, bagno dotato di vasca con asciugacapelli e prodotti shampoo/doccia. L'hotel è molto grande (ci si perde un po'), è dotato di ascensore, ha diverse sale e una piscina esterna. Ha un parcheggio esterno privato. Seppur per poco abbiamo respirato la sensazione di un hotel d'altri tempi, in una sala vi è un pianoforte e vi era una persona che lo stava suonando creando un'atmosfera teatrale. L'arredamento della camera è di tipo classico, con scrivania e condizionatore. Mancante invece il mini-frigo. Materassi comodi. Consiglio di estendere il tempo della piscina (chiude ore 19) e di dotare di maggiori sdraio o rivederne la disposizione.

The location of the property is excellent and an easy 10 minute walk into Vielha with plenty of parking. It is an old fashioned property and the outside could be tidied up, it does look a little depressing but the style of the building doesn’t really help. Inside reception is airy and modern and check in was quick and easy. Lifts are available to all floors. The aesthetics elsewhere are very dated and are worn, for example the corridor carpets are threadbare in places. The bar area though is airy, light and comfortable, as was the dining room. These remained largely empty though and as such there is no ambience or atmosphere, but this isn’t the hotels fault if they are not used. Outside and terrace and pool was a nice addition as we had fantastic weather. The room was relatively small and quite dark (because of the style building) but it was perfectly adequate and we had a fairly comfortable three days. The bathroom was perfectly acceptable also and the shower was good, albeit make sure the shower curtain is in and fully across. The bathroom hairdryer was slightly melted which was a little concerning so I didn’t use this. The other improvement definitely needed was the towels as they were thin and rather frayed round the edges in places but the toiletries included were really good. The room cleanliness could have been slightly improved, only in that there were cobwebs in the bathroom and dust over the floor under the desk, but otherwise the housekeeping was fine. We had breakfast one day and I felt it very good value for 12€. The drinks in the bar were very reasonably priced and Mario was lovely! The staff we encountered were all friendly. There was a steamer iron available at reception but there is no kettle in the room which could be a big improvement and is a facility I would definitely expect to have available in a stated four star property. Overall, yes this property is dated and rough around the edges; I would not agree it reaches the four star standard however for the price we paid I didn’t feel it unreasonable and for our needs on this occasion it worked fine so providing you want just a pit stop and are getting out and about you’ll be fine but don’t expect luxurious surroundings or facilities. A reasonable budget accommodation is how I would summarise this hotel, but we had a perfectly pleasant stay.

Questo è probabilmente il mio hotel preferito Parador, forse il mio periodo preferito. Con fantastiche viste, grandi camere, un spa e davvero buon cibo (Colazione e cena!). Ma non è solo questo. Il personale è brillante, non solo per i ricevitori, ma anche per tutti, dalle pulizie e dalle cameriere, ai camerieri e tutti gli altri che lavorano.

Questo hotel è stato una sorpresa inaspettata! Situato in un bellissimo piccolo villaggio circondato da montagne, ha un senso molto comodo dal momento che si gira nel parco auto. Il personale era molto accogliente ed efficiente al check-in e allocata la nostra stanza. La camera era molto grande con una grande camera da letto e un grande bagno in camera. Non c'è niente di cui non piacere su questo hotel, posso solo immaginare che sia stato riposato qui a mezza invernata godere di un ottimo cibo e la cottura dell'hotel. Se dovessi essere ricco, gli unici punti che posso aggiungere sono che non potevo ottenere l'aria condizionata per lavorare e la stanza era abbastanza calda.Il bagno, pur bellissimo, ha letali pavimenti in piastrelle quando bagnato, quindi state attenti al lasciare la doccia! Vorrei tornare qui un giorno e prendere in più dell'hotel e delle aree circostanti.
