This hotel is disgustingly dirty, inside and out. Our room still had dead squashed bugs on the walls from previous guests, the bed sheets were ripped and stained, the fridge had mould inside and along the seal and looked as though it needed the bin and not bleach, the towels looked used, the bath still had scum marks and no shower curtain was provided. There was a musky smell in the room that just doesn’t go no matter what you do, the pillows were flatter than a pancake; even when folded they’re pointless. The air conditioning unit is loud and smells mouldy. Room service is as if and when they can be bothered to work. Bedsheets are not replaced daily, they say every other day but that’s not true. The bin you use for sanitary products and used tissues are not changed daily. The managing staff are nonchalant and have zero interest in helping with complaints. After I expressed my concerns to Jet2 regrading the hotel, and getting no where, a rep from another hotel had managed to arrange for myself and the manager to meet. I explained the problems with the room and his was response was “I know, I can’t help.” We ended up talking a bit more and he said he would sort it. We went out for the day and came back to a shower curtain, the towels had been changed, the beds had been remade but not changed, the floor washed and the bins emptied. Whilst other rooms are being cleaned, the towels and bed sheets along with the rubbish collected are thrown on the floor outside and left until the end of the day. If I were you, save yourself the headache and the money and stay elsewhere.
