Couldn't of asked for more! The hosts are so lovely, caters for everything you and your pets need! Was an amazing place, quirky and beautiful. Definitely coming back!

Comfy bed clean perfect spot for walking lovely hosts amazing hot tub (weather dependant) great to have ability to micriwave make toast and tea little fridge and pubs and cafes right next door

Very eco friendly, comfortable welcoming walkers establishment. Self catering with panache. Excellent drying room, much needed this time! Full recent refurbishment, very clean, very comfortable beds and friendly, helpful hosts. Situated between the cafe and the pub but all facilities for self catering too.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Ramblers' Rest. The room was spacious and comfortable. The host Terry was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The town has breakfast and dinner options within less than 5 minutes and is an ideal location to explore Dartmoor.

Wonderful hosts. Beautiful area. Comfortable, clean room and a lovely hot tub. Only stayed 3 nights and wish we could have been there longer. Really lovely atmosphere although the walls are a bit thin and on the last morning we were woken up by some early risers, clearly looking to make the most of this wonderful location. This was a minor inconvenience which would not in any way stop us returning.

Myself partner and puppy stayed for the weekend, Terry and Nikki were very welcoming gave us a tour and explained how everything was and where to go and what to see. Never used the hot tub but enjoyed the garden area. Lovely room with comfy bed, Winston our puppy was welcomed with his own bed bowls and little gifts. Thank you will definitely stay again

I had to stay in Princetown for work for the weekend at the end of August and it was a fantastic experience! Nikki and Terry were welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to share information and advice about the area. I stayed in the caravan which was a little slice of peace in a busy work weekend. The bed was comfy and it was a very sweet and cosy place to be. I managed to escape to the hot tub for an hour between events/meetings and it was absolute bliss - just the thing I needed! The outdoor kitchen is a great space and I'll definitely be back for a social trip!

Really lovely hotel in a picturesque spot. The room has everything you need including a little coffee machine. They even have a dry room for if you get caught in the rain as we did! Terry and Nikki are so nice, they gave us lots of suggestions of things to do in the area. We would stay again :)

This is a very friendly place to stay, very clean and well equipped, right in the centre of Princetown. It is simple but provides what you need. They have a spa which is quite unusual for Dartmoor. Princetown itself is not pretty, but the views of the prison are fascinating. I stayed here to walk the old railway track down to Burrator and Yelverton, which was fantastic, a great way to see Dartmoor up close.
