Aanmani Rose Guesthouse

I had such a lovely experience at this guesthouse. The rooms are beautifully styled—thoughtfully decorated, comfortable, and spotless. Every little detail made it feel like a home away from home. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Such a refreshing stay at one of South Africa’s most charming Guesthouses! Amazing staff and atmosphere, and the hostess - Karen - is one of the accomodating people we’ve ever experienced. Coming from Australia, this kind of hospitality is hard to beat.

One of the best experiences. Worth every cent. Breakfast was incredible. Rooms are stunning. Staff members are all friendly and welcoming and the pool, I don’t have words for it. One of the best stays I’ve had. I can recommend this place to anyone whether it’s for business, or a personal stay. Also ideally located near n Pretoria.

This is the second time we have stayed at Aanmani, and this time we stayed in the Presidential suite. We booked four rooms altogether for various family members. We loved our stay. Maria was exceptional in looking after us, and making sure that everything went smoothly. As the face of Aanmani, she is an incredible asset. Our breakfasts were always perfectly cooked, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and we felt very much taken care of. On the downside, guesthouses are expensive to maintain, and Aanmani's property upkeep is showing signs of wear and tear. For example, the grouting in our bathroom could have used a serious refresh. It was unpleasant, and made the room feel dirty (it wasn't dirty, it just felt old and grubby). The shower stall felt dingy and clunky. The water pressure in the showers was also fairly dismal, and one of our rooms had no hot water, and so that family member needed to be switched to a different room. The kitchen in the presidential suite also looked as through it had last been updated in the 1970s. We didn't do any cooking though, so that didn't matter to us, but I don't think the look of that kitchen is appropriate for a top-class guesthouse. All in all though, this remains a top-class guesthouse. I understand how difficult it is for a guesthouse to maintain its property. But the staff and atmosphere, the quiet neighborhood, the sense of security, and the beauty of the setting means that we will stay at Aanmani again. Five stars for sure.

Overall it was an excellent experience. Management and staff were friendly and responsive to my needs/requests. I enjoyed the room setup and all there was to offer. As a first-timer in South Africa, they made sure to drive me around for shopping and business. I will certainly go back to Aanmani Rose Guesthouse whenever I return to Pretoria!!

Absolutely wonderful! The staff are beyond kind and helpful. Always willing to go out of their way to meet any need. As an example, on my last day I had some time to kill before my flight and asked Peter if he had any suggestions and he set up a ride for me to go and tour a local monument park. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Great having a breakfast and dinner included.
