Hotel in zona Anji＇s Emporium, Preston

Avevo bisogno di un hotel vicino al centro della città, e l'Holiday Inn era ideale a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e vicino al centro della città. La Checkin era così veloce e il personale dove molto gentile e informativo sulle strutture dell'hotel, che a volte non succede. Sono andato al bar/restauare per qualcosa da mangiare, il menu aveva qualcosa per tutti e mi sono seduto nel bar. Il cibo è stato consegnato in tempo utile, la qualità e il gusto sono buoni, e un membro del personale si è incontrato per chiedere se tutto è stato bene, che era un bel toccamento. Il colazione è stato un buffet di servizio privato con una buona scelta di cibo disponibile.

Good stay in a fairly close location to Preston centre. Uber only £5 so not mega expensive and saves the walk in being around 15-20 minutes. Rooms modern with bathrooms being very clean and adequate ventilation considering it was a warm night. Only negative would be that there should be a notice on the booking stating how small the car park was. Any car that’s a small SUV and up will very much struggle to manoeuvre, with it being clear to see with the scuff marks on the posts inside the car park. Also the fee for parking overnight was around £3 Overall a pleasant stay for a really good price. Would definitely revisit if staying in Preston again.

My friend and I have just returned from celebrating a special birthday at Northcote. It was a terrific experience from the moment we arrived when we were greeted on the terrace by the friendly team. We lunched on the terrace with a light snack and the best chips we have ever had. Our room was delightful with every attention to detail paid in sophisticated style. Comfortable beds and lovely linens. Lots of appreciated touches to create a comfortable stay. The five course gourmet dinner with a new summer menu created very recently was sublime. From the 'snacks' to dessert, every course grew in intensity, ingenuity and flavour. It was truly wonderful. Among the special touches for my friends birthday, a card and a glass of complimentary champagne. It is these gestures that add that extra delight to an altogether memorable occasion. Finally the jewel in the crown, the team who work so hard with ever present hospitality that are a credit and the epitome of Northcote. Return visit definitely on the cards.

L'hotel non è davvero a Chorley, situato a sud-ovest e a qualche distanza da Chorley. Situato in una zona di servizio autostradale che è accessibile solo dal nordbound M6. L'uscita è anche sul nordbound M6. Ciò significa che si può fare un lungo viaggio lungo l'autostrada se si vuole accedere alle strutture locali - o CHORLEY. È un buon punto di fermata se si sta effettivamente viaggiando a nord sulla M6. La camera era molto confortevole e ben progettata, ma la doccia era molto scorrevole, e ci sono notizie nella camera da bagno, ma un po' di sforzo per rendere la camera meno pericolosa sarebbe più utile. In generale, ci sono alternative locali migliori che non richiedono dettagli sulla carta e sono molto più facili da raggiungere con auto, e in effetti il trasporto pubblico o il ciclo. Andare altrove per lo stesso livello di alloggio senza problemi.

La camera non era pronta quando siamo arrivati dopo l'orario di check-in. Dopo 15 minuti è stata assegnata una stanza mentre veniva pulita e dopo altri 45 minuti è stata assegnata l'altra stanza. Inoltre la tessera d'ingresso non funzionava per l'altra camera, dovevamo scendere alla reception per la rettifica della tessera e rifare l'attivazione. Deluso dopo un lungo viaggio di quasi 4 ore per trovare la camera non pronta.

La stanza è un po 'di tempo, sembra un po 'di tempo.Tè e caffè in camera, ma solo per una tazza di tè o caffè. Doccia un po 'slippery. La porta della stanza non si chiuse correttamente, ma il personale ci ha dato un colazione gratuita per questo che eravamo felici di avere. La colazione era buona ect pane economico, ma non abbiamo pagato per questo.

Ho prenotato e pagato per questo soggiorno di nuovo in gennaio, ma a causa della malattia non potevo più restare. Il soggiorno è stato creditato per me e meno di una settimana fa ho avuto contatto chiedendo se è possibile utilizzare il soggiorno questo fine settimana appena andato a causa di un incidente con i colpi di calendario. Senza problemi o ritardi, mi è stato immediatamente organizzato per me e il mio partner di rimanere lì, e la nostra stanza è stata anche migliorata una stanza più grande, disponibile a breve termine. Mi sono chiesto di parcheggiare tardi la notte, quando sono arrivato dove potevo parcheggiare a causa di incertezze con la firma, e mi sono avvisato immediatamente mentre ero ancora in macchina! Il letto era molto confortevole, il letto è anche di grande qualità. Visiteremo regolarmente Preston per il nostro sport, mentre competeremo in un locale Forza & Performance gym, e saremo assolutamente indietro. Ci ha certamente fatto pensare di guidare il paese in un giorno e di spostarci, e ci ha resi più facile dopo le precedenti cattive esperienze. Winkley Square Residences è il luogo di soggiorno se siete mai a Preston, situato in una bella zona, e un posto ancora più bello per riposare la testa, gestito da persone molto utili e veramente carine.

When we arrived the barrier was down. We had to do that awkward thing of move the car over as far as you can and then stretch to reach the button to contact staff. Unfortunately the staff member who answered the gate intercom was a little hard to understand and she cut us off rather abruptly with the gate still remaining down. We pressed again and the gate allowed access. We checked in and I advised that I had already paid online via paypal. The staff advised that any payment was not an actual payment rather a hold - I would still need to pay again. If you use paypal you will know it takes several days to show on your account so I could neither prove nor disprove their claims. We got to our room and were pleased to be in an annexe as there was a wedding going on. Nice room size etc kettle, coffee machine, mugs, tea and biscuits. I checked in the bathroom for glasses and there were none available - I would assume that a hotel charging over £100 per night would at least supply plastic cups or proper glasses to drink water from. There was plenty of storage available and a decent hairdryer. The shower was nice - however the glass door was not long enough to prevent significant amounts of water hitting the floor - the bath mat was sodden. The shower tray and grout work as well as an area near the radiator had mould/blackening to it. There was also a random hole in the ceiling - possibly an old leak? The food was great although it took a while to arrive. I did ask for mild peppercorn sauce and no mushrooms - my food arrived with mushrooms and no peppercorn sauce. We left the restaurant believing that the meal would be added to the room - a member of staff followed us out advised that many people may have sat at the table and they needed a room number (this was given when we arrived at the restaurant) and could we pay now?!; perhaps they need a better booking/checking system in place? We then went through to the bar there were several tables which had been left with glasses on them. They were only removed when we sat at one of these tables, the table remained unwiped. The two staff on didn't come over to see if we wanted more drinks and didn't interact with other people who were hovering also intending to purchase drinks. I eventually took my chair and sat in front of the bar waiting for the staff to return from a patrol; neither asked if they could help so I shouted over. I believe this is indicative more of a lack of training in customer service than rudeness. Children from the wedding were becoming a nuisance by this point and were pretty much unchallenged by staff. They were running in and out, up and down stairs taking milk from the fridges and leaving plastic rings on the floor. They made enough noise to be heard on at least the first floor as the fire doors were help open by magnets. In our room we hoped for peace and quiet only to be left disappointed by music echoing over from the wedding - this finished just before midnight. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The gym was lovely and quiet at 8am although the sauna hadn't quite heated up when we headed in there around 8.40ish. Breakfast was mostly tasty - the black pudding lacked any flavour - the scrambled eggs and hash browns were great. The tea was the wrong colour and tasted like very cheap teabags. There were bits of chips on the floor from the food service the night before.

Abbiamo appena tornato a casa dopo un soggiorno di tre notti a Astley Bank. Quando siamo arrivati, siamo stati abbastanza soddisfatti della nostra stanza, anche se sembrava un po' data e stanca. Amici ci hanno accompagnato per cena nel ristorante, quella sera e il cibo era buono. Il primo mattino, abbiamo fatto colazione in una piccola stanza laterale dove abbiamo scelto frutta, yogurt, pasticceria e una scelta cucinata dal menu A la Carte. Eravamo informati che era un matrimonio quella sera, ma, come la nostra stanza era al secondo piano, non ci stavamo affatto disturbati dal rumore e abbiamo dormito bene. A causa della festa di nozze, il colazione era un buffet nel ristorante, e il nostro ultimo colazione era servito come buffet nel ristorante. In entrambi i giorni ci è stato detto di lasciare il ristorante a 9.30 forte come il personale necessario per preparare gli ospiti al pranzo. Astley Bank è un hotel a quattro stelle, ma, sulla base della nostra esperienza delle ultime due mattine, il colazione non è stato un evento a quattro stelle. Avremmo dovuto essere informati che il menu A la Carte non sarebbe stato disponibile e, a nostro avviso, ha offerto un rimborso. L’altra questione era la doccia sul bagno nella nostra camera da bagno. L’acqua usciva poco più di un bicchiere, ancora una volta, non quello che si aspetta da un hotel di quattro stelle. La maggior parte del personale era molto piacevole, con un pronto saluto e sorriso. Infatti, per il problema del colazione, dovremmo pensare a se ritorneremo.
