La colazione dell'hotel è buona e il bagno è grande

There was wide selection of foods for breakfast, e.g. 4 types of spreads, mushrooms cream soup etc. I didn't miss anything. Room was clean, warm and hot water flowed immediately. As a person that spend almost 100 nights in Prague hotels, mentioning of the fine for late checkout and for smoking, made me feel a little bad.

Good hotel at a excellent price

Camera pulita e confortevole al 3° piano. Tutto ha funzionato come dovrebbe e, sebbene l'hotel fosse pieno, non abbiamo sentito alcun rumore proveniente dagli altri residenti. Il minibar era utile per rinfrescare le nostre bottiglie d'acqua, la cassaforte significava che non dovevamo portare con noi i nostri oggetti di valore tutto il giorno e la doccia funzionava molto bene. La colazione era molto rilassata con una buona scelta di cibo in offerta. Anche il personale è stato molto utile.

We had the worst holiday experience in this hotel and had to cut short our holiday from 4 nights + checkout day to one night+checkout. We booked through British Airways and despite booking for 2 adults, one child and one baby, we got a small room ideal for two adults and a child. The room itself did not have any ventilation, the phone was not working, wifi was patchy, and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The mini-fridge was not working and Air Con could not be switched on. When we complained about the room size and asked to be changed they said it was BA's fault and they won't help. We thought fair enough let's see, but when we raised the other issues they simply were not interested in helping. When we complained many times about the lack of ventilation and the room being extremely hot for the baby, they said we could open the windows. When we opened it, we realised we were straight above the smoking zone and our room smelled of smoke within 5 minutes. Repeated requests to sort out the AC or give us a different room were met with no response. In the end, we decided to cut short our stay and fly back. And when we were checking out just after 1 and half days, there was no apology and they are refusing to refund us the money. The only reason we left was because the staff refused to help us in any way and could not change our rooms. Additionally, this hotel does not have any wheelchair/baby pram access and again staff was so unhelpful in coming out to keep luggage etc. They claim to be a four-star hotel but there was nothing 4 stars about them. Forget the luxuries you will associate with a 4-star there were no basic amenities and the staff was unhelpful on all accounts and they will not even bother to refund you.

The Amigo is a solid hotel in a pretty central location. It is very near Vysehrad and the IP Pavlova metro station. It is on a busy main road, but the double windows are good at reducing the noise to a minimum. My single room wasn’t huge, but it was well appointed, super clean and well maintained. The heating and AC worked well. The bathroom was spacious, modern and also very clean. Breakfast was quite pleasant and the selection decent, with all the basics one would expect laid out as a buffet. The reception staff were friendly when I check in late at night, but seemed more interested in chatting to each other when I checked out in the morning. The hotel isn’t really a 4*, probably more of a very good 3*, but the nightly rates reflect that. I would definitely not describe it as “luxurious”, but if you lower your expectations slightly you'll be pleasantly surprised.

My stay was absolutely nice, the hotel is a bit old and it is in city centre, right on the main roads so it was noisy in the room because of all night traffic. Breakfast was very good, staff and service great! Thank you🤗

Very welcoming and thoughtful staff; more than what we expected in a very busy city, definitely made us feel special and feel like home. We entered the room and there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us as a gift for our honeymoon, we don’t think we are leaving the room now ;)
