Spa Beerland Chateaux – U Zlaté Hrušky / at Golden Pear

Grazioso hotel caratteristico con splendide camere situato molto vicino al castello di Praga e alla rete di tram per spostarsi in città. Un bonus ovvio è che tra le 10 e le 19, quando si soggiorna lì, è inclusa tutta la birra che si può bere, che si versa da soli dai rubinetti. Anche il bagno di birra è un'esperienza divertente!

Posto meraviglioso! Stanza molto riservata e carina, adoro il bagno caldo alla birra, è molto rilassante. La combinazione con la birra fredda è incredibile. Lo consiglierei sicuramente. Ti danno anche il pane alla birra fatto in casa. Tutto birra, è una combinazione meravigliosa per ogni amante della birra. Hai birra illimitata ma è così rilassante che quasi ti dimentichi di berla ;)

Lovely old charm hotel, let down by a few issues. First, on check in we were asked to ‘register’ which meant writing down our names, addresses, phone numbers, passport numbers to a paper book containing the same information of all previous guests. As someone who works in the field of identity theft, I can’t stress enough how bad that is. I tried to make the point that I considered it unsafe but the hotel was adamant it was necessary. In the end we added false details. In my experience what makes a hotel stay is the staff. Unfortunately there is some work needed on that front. The older lady that checked us in was lovely. Chatty and friendly. The young girl with long dark hair (not the girl with glasses) however was just rude. I never seen her crack a smile in the 4 days we were there! Due to the Spa downstairs, the public areas are like a sauna, almost unbearably hot. I was the only person in the room, and I opened the window to get some relief from the heat, she stormed over and closed it, saying she was cold! She really is in the wrong job and lets the hotel down. A nice hotel, and the beer is a bonus. It’s just a bit of a depressing atmosphere.

Nice property, disinterested staff. No one around after check in. Only stayed 2 nights and my room wasn’t cleaned after the first night, no explanation and toilet paper or re and coffee replenished. No one around or phone in room to ask either. Nice place, shame about the staff and lack of service.

Loved it! We stayed in a room with a balcony, and it was cosy, clean and comfortable. Great location, very quiet area and in walking distance to loads of cafes and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there was free beer - the light beer was especially great!

Brilliant experience. The hotel made arrangements as I was arriving late & outside the check in times. The staff were polite & friendly. The room was amazing and the location was absolutely brilliant and perfect for what I wanted. It's unlimited beer for the duration of the stay between 10:00 & 19:00. I didn't take too much advantage of that I was out in the city mostly. I booked the 2 hour Beer Spa for myself & a friend and it's a brilliant experience, a must do if visiting Prague.
