Hostellerie De Levernois

We stayed a night here on our way back home. We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints from the moment you arrive until you leave. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a pavilion room.it was a lovely gesture and much appreciated ! The room is large with an outdoor patio. A delicious cake and some fruit welcomed us ! The bed is very comfortable and bathroom beautiful and great amenities. Decent size safe and nicely appointed mini bar Good lighting and tastefully decorated Also great to have USB ports near the bed . Very quiet and peaceful The whole setting of the hotel is wonderful and the addition of the future spa will be great ! The breakfast served buffet style is really good . Lots of choices of local produce and great bread ! Freshly squeezed juices are nice. Would be nice to have loose tea instead of sachets. The only negative. The staff as always are lovely and always there to make your stay special. We dined at The bistrot du bord de l’eau which is fantastic ! It’s not far from the motorway without the noise so a very practical place to stay We’ll be back for sure!

The property is beautiful. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. Our experience with the staff was mediocre. The staff is very young, enthusiastic but not adept at quality customer service. There were multiple issues from maintenance restaining a closet door which required us to move rooms after fully unpacking, due to the toxic odor of the product. We were locked out of the gate one evening and could not get anyone to answer the intercom. The bath mirror wouldn’t light in a poorly lit bathroom. We love Relais and Chateaux properties but this one would greatly benefit from adult, experienced supervision and mentorship.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this lovely hotel. The grounds are beautiful and our deluxe room was very comfortable.

The location and setting is fabulous as was the service and food . Would highly recommend this property

A very special place and somewhere we come back to time and time again with our two dogs, who are made to feel just as welcome as we are. Everything is so good from the food to the friendliness and the service - nothing is a problem and we feel so relaxed from the minute we come through the gate till we leave. The rooms (we have stayed at the pavilion and chambre caractère) are all individual and so comfortable. We look forward to our next stay there in a few months time.
