Casa Malu

We were one night in this apartment, who is very good situated and is it really close to the city center and beach. Our host was very kind and helpful. Positano is amazing city with very tasty food and drinks. I can fully recommend Casa Malu. We were very satisfied with everything!

Casa Malú was a perfect spot. Great restaurants just a short walk away and the local bus stop is at the doorstep which was very convenient. The room was very clean and it was cleaned daily which we were not expecting since we had been staying at Airbnb’s. At the end they held our luggage so that we could enjoy the day without the hassle of the bags.

Really big and airy apartment with great amenities, such as whirlpool bath and well equipped kitchen. We had a ground floor apartment with a lovely terrace with big couches outside. Comfortable beds and air con inside. Great communication by Sabrina, who was waiting on time despite a flight delay. There is a little grocery store opposite and 2 restaurants nearby. It is a very steep 15 minute walk to and from the beach but there is a regular shuttle bus for 2 eur that takes you nearly all the way up and down. Fantastic stay in Positano

My daughter and I stayed at Casa Malu for 12 days in one of their spacious 1 bedroom apartments. It looked as if it had recently been renovated and was very clean and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped and we had 2 nice bathrooms which really made things nice for my daughter and I. There were plenty of coffee shops, a grocery store, a beautiful fruit market, and a few nice restaurants walking distance if you want to stay local. You can walk down to the center of town via steps nearby ( I have to admit we never attempted to walk back up those stairs) or take the Positano bus which comes every 30 minutes right outside the front door which was so convenient. The cleaning staff were really nice, efficient and considerate. There was a really nice shaded patio with comfortable furniture to have morning coffee and breakfast. International bar a few feet away had the best coffee and pastry. The price was reasonable for size and location. I would definitely stay here again. My wife and I stayed in the ground floor apartment for 4 nights. Casa Malu opens directly onto a bus stop which is a great feature considering its location is not feasible to walk the winding stairs of Positano from the port. The apartment was spacious and airy comprising a lounge, full kitchen (with fridge), dining table, two bathrooms and an oversized bedroom with more storage than I have seen in any other bedroom! The best feature of the apartment was a huge terrace courtyard with undercover lounge area. The roof was collapsible too so if you wanted more sun, you could open it at a touch of a button. Sabrina was a a great host who kindly arranged an early check in, told us about the room and assisted with any questions we had via WhatsApp.

We stayed at Casa Malu at the beginning of June 2023. The apartment is decorated to a very high modern standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Air conditioning units kept the space cool when doors were closed. The apartment was exceptionally clean and maintained by the cleaning staff throughout our stay. The views on both sides of our apartment were wonderful and it was nice to relax on the balcony. The location at the junction of the turning into Positano’s vehicle entry was lively sometimes, but it was great to watch the World go by and we enjoyed doing the same from the Bar Internazionale across the road. Positano is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring it on foot from the apartment. A leisurely meander to and from the apartment through the main streets is easier on the legs and there are plenty of nice restaurants along the way to stop for a drink or dine with great food, otherwise, getting to the beach is about 15-20 mins using the pedestrian cut-throughs and steps. There are a lot of steps in Positano as you’d expect, but just outside the apartment is a local bus stop, so that option is there to get up and down too. There’s also a regional bus stop just across the road where you can take the SITA bus in the direction of Sorrento on one side and Amalfi on the other. We found this very convenient for a few daily excursions we took during our stay and tickets were only 2.25 EUR each way. I really can’t compliment the staff at Casa Malu enough, they were absolutely fantastic and highly attentive to all enquiries before we arrived and throughout our stay.
