We just spent the past week at this fabulous B and B and would highly recommend it to everyone. In a prime location, you can walk up the street to pubs, grocery, chemist, coffee shops and ice cream parlors. There is a bus stop just steps away that takes you to Coleraine to train into Belfast or the other direction to Portrush. JJ, Marie and James are wonderful owners who see that everyone is well taken care of. You will not be disappointed with any aspect of your stay. Pro tip- book with them directly for the best rates!!

Lovely accommodation, beauiful breakfast and first class service. Portstewart is a lively coastal town with lots to do and see,friendly atmosphere and the coffee shop is a must when your in the area It was North West 200 weekend and the place was buzzing

Another plesant stay at Cul Erg with JJ and Maries top class service as usual. Bedroom very comfortable with all you need, Great selection for breakfast with Gluten Free also available. If you haven't tried it you are missing out. Situation is perfect, within walking distance of town centre and private parking available at rear of guest house.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely B&B. JJ was a charming host and the room was so comfortable and luxurious, esp. after our long walking journey along the Antrim Coast. The breakfast was one of the best I had in all my holiday travels. The place is perfectly located and easy to get to from Coleraine station (if you're not walking from Ballycastle as we did!). This is the place to stay in Portstewart. JJ and his family know how to do it right. Thank you!

I had the privilege of residing at the Cul-Erg House and Kitchen for a week while attending the Open Championship at Royal Portrush last week. I am very well aware of just how outstanding this establishment is having stayed there on previous visits to Portstewart. This is no ordinary B&B as the service and facilities are top quality while its close location to a bus stop and only a short walk to the main Portstewart promenade make it so very easy get around. Marie, JJ & James are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I hope that this most recent stay is not my last and have no hesitation in giving it the highest recommendation possible. Tom Thomson New Zealand

JJ, Marie and James were wonderful hosts. Cul-Erg is close to public transportation to visit the sights of Northern Ireland. The rooms are clean and the bed and breakfast is in close proximity to town. Would recommend visiting Cul-Erg House.

JJ was the most wonderful host! We ate at a local restaurant and our waiter told us that Cul Erg, has a cafe that is her favorite place for breakfast. They make their own pasteries that are delicious. We would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I have just returned from a very happy time spent at Cul-Erg. What made this possible was the desire of our hosts J.J, Marie and James to go the extra mile to accommodate. Not only was the food excellent, but the cleanliness was exemplary. we highly recommend this B&B to any others who may care to sample.

We spent a night here prior to leaving on a hiking trip along the Causeway Coast. The room was very comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom, comfortable bed and good shower, Breakfast in the morning was very good. Our host , JJ, was gracious and welcoming. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend.
