Great location. Tidy room. Friendly staff. But no air conditioning. Relaxing stay overall.

Very cosy and pleasant staff. Breakfast was superb plus Lenuta who worked behind front desk and the bar. Easy access to the building and bar facilities. Staff were always there to help with polite manners.

The seacrest is closing. I’m so heartbroken. We stayed 3/4 times a year for 3 - 7 nights. It was perfect, our home from home. Nowhere even remotely like it in Southsea so doubt we’ll be going there again.

What a beautiful hotel, clean and so well decorated. We stayed in room 22 for four nights. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated in lavender, massive bed and good shower. Only negative is no double glazing in this room but the window did not let in any draft. The breakfast was amazing hot, fresh and plenty of variety. What makes this place stand out even more are the staff, so polite and always going out of their way to help.

Had fabulous weekend at Seacrest, location very good for all things to do. Highly impressed with the hardworking house manager Lenuta, who could do enough for you. Would definitely recommend. The breakfast is good too.

Had a lovely clean room overlooking the sea. A good location, a few minutes walk from Southsea pier, and a 30 min walk to Gunwharf Quay. Easy parking outside of hotel and only £2 per day if you grab a permit from reception when checking in. The breakfast was nice, and friendly staff all round. Nice small cosy bar, the only downside was it was rather too expensive. Would have given an overall rating of 4.5 due to bar cost but thought a 5 was fairer than a 4.

We have just stayed at the Seacrest for 2 nights over my birthday weekend. A beautifully decorated hotel with some lovely touches. Our seaview room was gorgeous. We received a warm welcome on arrival with a full debrief about bar opening times, breakfast etc. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Lenuta who works behind the bar (and reception I believe). What a charming lady... bright as a button, cheerful and so switched on!! Oh, and breakfast.... a delight, served by the politest staff. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can.

Fabulous, welcoming hotel. Lovely friendly staff, emaculate and clean furnishings. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Cosy bar if you need one in the evening. Really good location for any sightseeing. A family owned hotel with character, why stay in a chain hotel when you can stay at this character filled gem?

My partner and I stayed here in June for 2 nights, amazing clean room and fabulous breakfast. On the second night just getting ready to go out for dinner, our door got jammed shut, called down to reception and Lenuta came running up to help, later in the evening we went to the bar where Lenuta was serving behind the bar, again she was helpful, entertaining and just a lovely asset to the team. We will definitely be back. Thank you
