Hotel in zona HMS Warrior, Portsmouth

Un bel hotel a buon bilancio per tutti, con una buona posizione, come Tesco extra e kfc, ecc. abbiamo prenotato e andato al negozio FC per il gioco di calcio che è così buono! Letto organizzato, un po' piccolo, ma con tutto. Solo il letto era difficile da salire.

We stayed here for two nights to visit the historic dockyard before moving onto the Isle if Wight, we booked it through Booking dot com. We had a luxury room on the ground floor which had just been finished. First I'd like to mention the staff and service; from checking in to checking out the staff we interacted with were polite, very helpful and friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast service was good with a wide selection to choose form, hot food is cooked to order so not particularly quick when busy but still far superior to a buffet style. Our room, Gracious, is on the ground floor at the front of the property, our initial concerns about road noise and being next to the hotel entrance were happily unfounded. The ensuite bathroom is huge, with a spa bath at one end and a double shower enclosure at the other. The bed is large, probably super king-size?, and comfortable, there is a small dressing table and wardrobe and a soft chair. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had no complaints at all but there a few things that management may want to consider going forward; there is a large flat screen smart tv mounted on the wall above the dressing table which makes it difficult to watch from the bed being at 90° to the wall. There was an issue getting a reliable service on the TV which staff tried to resolve during our stay; there was also an intermittent issue with the WiFi dropping in and out. We found the shower water pressure on the low side but forgot to mention this before we left. Location is good, 5 minute walk to the nearest restaraunts on Albert Road or a 10 minute bus ride into Portsmouths Gunwharf Quay, the bus stops right outside the hotel. We would definitely stay again

Great all round hotel. Staff are friendly, Starbucks in the foyer. The gym is superb with indoor strength, cardio and functional fitness areas found inside and outside! Decent size pool, sports bar/ restaurant. The rooms are on the small side, but showers are spacious and powerful. Plug sockets and charging stations everywhere. Not ideal for families with kids or older couples. But for business users and young couples it’s ideal.

NO POOL OR SPA FACILITIES AVAILABLE. Me and the family found out the hard way. Trip and booking.com both say there's a pool, spa facilities but there hasn't been since lockdown. Checked it out and its all still there just not in use. Manager told me it closed due to covid but hasn't reopened due to cost.... Other than that, great sleep and breakfast. Gym is pretty decent, beds are comfy, bathroom shower are nice. Just misleading. I think it's just to get people to pay higher prices. I felt a bit ripped off to be honest for it being a Marriott hotel.

Helpful and polite staff. Very big double room. Spacious and comfortable and clean room. Easily accessible location of the hotel.

Molto convenientemente posizionato, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dall'esplanade, ma meglio di un valore rispetto agli hotel sulla costa. Il check-in è stato un processo rapido e semplice, e la stanza è stata piacevole e pulita, ma la decorazione richiede un po' di TLC, tra cui un segno cartaceo che è stato cancellato e mezzo fuori dal muro dove era originariamente legato. Una questione minore, ma la sua sostituzione richiederebbe minuti e darebbe immediatamente una migliore prima impressione. Il bagno era nella stanza (non nel bagno) ma faceva il miglior uso dello spazio disponibile, il colazione era fresco e servito rapidamente, con illimitato cereali, succhi e tè/caffè disponibile. Non esitavo a rimanere qui di nuovo.

We Ryde had a brilliant stay at Ryde Travelodge .we stayed for 4 nights .The room was lovely and clean with plenty of lovely white towels.our room was an accessible room and was perfect for my needs.Our bonus was we had a lovely sea view.The staff where amazing so very helpful and friendly.nothing was to much trouble for them.looking forward to returning next year.

We reserved a harbour view room - this view also happened to include a not so nice view of an untidy utility/loading bay area! Room was old and needed binoculars to see the TV it was so small. After a visit to the pool, we came back to the room to no hot water and were told this was because all the other guests were using it! After waiting about an hour and several calls to the reception from our own phones as there was no phone in our room, finally went in person to sort it out and we were moved to another much nicer room where the hot water was working. This room was at the back of the hotel with no view. We had dinner in the Waterside restaurant, had to send the lamb steak back to the kitchen as it was undercooked. Overall it was an average hotel, not sure we'd stay here again especially on a special occasion. Photo is of the second room's view.
